Thankyou and i implemented by same successfully. one question if API Key is visible so how to give parameters and ip address dynamically based on user input
Hi Pritam!! please keep the videos in the playlist in ORDER. The videos are jumbled like 4th video is 1st one and 3rd video is 2nd one ..... like this.
13:48 Great, now you've given ServiceNow the right to impersonate you on bookscape! It's never a good idea to give your credentials 🆔 to a 3rd-party service. That's a big problem with REST. 💡No such risk with Qworum APIs, where each service performs its own auth.
Hey 👋 Thanks for your comment!! This is just an example I have shared but you can check i used API key to connect with the external app! Regarding the OAUTH setup with ServiceNow, I have also done detail step by step video in this very playlist! Do check that our as well 🤓
@@techwithpri Hi, your explanations are perfectly correct, it's REST that's the issue. If you want to call external services from ServiceNow using REST, then you have to give ServiceNow the right to impersonate you, regardless of whether you are using basic authentication or OAuth. OTOH, if you only need an API key then REST is OK, because API keys don't identify the end-user, only the software that's doing the calling. Right now only Qworum APIs are solving this trust problem, but that's a new API protocol that not many people know about. And ServiceNow doesn't support it, at least not yet.
Please for members do show a use case in which there is third party integration like chat gpt or any other ! Because i tried a lot but couldn't make it 🙏🙏🙏

Hi Pritam, can you help with AWS. Lambda integration using custom spoke and sigV4 authentication. I am getting 404 error.
Hey 👋
A 404 error typically indicates that the requested resource (your Lambda function) was not found.
Check the permission and sigV4 authentication!
