You still retain secret rearmament even after you get rid of the 1st ww treaty. It just dissappears after you go over volenteer only. Not sure how good it is in a normal playthrough but when you dont play historical and can chill til 1940 it really helps out with the factory output and military factory building speed.
Back in the day when you only needed Austria and Hungary to core both, this was useful. But now Austria just doesn't have enough manpower, and is unable to core Hungary immediately for extra manpower, so holding onto volunteer only is a death wish
something that I noticed in my playthrough as Austria, if you play unhistorical and Germany went into civil war, you can actually invite Germany into your central powers faction through that focus, but you have to do it when Mackensen is still in power. By doing that, the German AI will never do their political focus, making them very weak.
I find it funny how irl Russia went „Hey Lichtenstein. Wanna buy Alaska?“ to wich the tiny country replied „wth. That’s way too much land for us to suddenly be in control of. No!“
The Royals of Liechtenstein focus is actually very important for blocking Germany from being able to Anschluss you as the lower fascism support is the slower Germany's manpower ratio decreases.
Question: how much Liechtenstein is prepared for different ideologies? For example most of South American formable tags have all the same flag or even names when converted to different ideologies? Does Liechtenstein have unique flags? It may have austrian leaders, but I hope at least the flags and name are different
The "Anschluss Risk Mitigated" event is actually not an event you want to see as that means that the Anschluss focus for Germany has been bypassed and its much better for you if you can prevent them from doing it at all.
i have played the Austria-Hungary path in non-historical. when i integrate all of the puppets i got thousands of interwar fighter. i don't know why the ai built so many of them.
US likely wasn't in the allies because you beat Germany before Japan attacked the Philippines so Germany didn't declare on the US from the Tripartite Pact event. If Japan doesn't declare on Malaysia (the AI tends not to for whatever reason) then there's no mutual war for the US to join the allies
Lick'n Stein?
*shudder* oh my
Bitte nicht
Steiner counter attack?!?!!
being Alaskan i support and welcome my Liechtenstein overlords
My man
You shall pledge allegiance to the great prince of Liechtenstein, by the grace of god, count of Vaduz, lord of Schellenberg
Good you support the rightful owner of Alaska

But it allows you to save time! Get your puppets faster and go down your tree so as to prepare against Germany
@@Aldrahill well yes you went in faster but still forget to get albania. the only country that does the shared focuses

But imagine if they did buy it
The river in Italy is called Po.
Thats right. Po is also the german word for Butt.
In german "Po" means "Ass"
In german, Ass means ace.
If you don't call a puppet into your war, you can still fight with their divisions without them gaining autonomy
So, you know if you go to the war summary screen you can just click a single button to invite everyone in your faction to join the war, right?
I… am not a smart man

That river in Italy is the river Po :)
Mechanised Infantry only for next challenge lol
Thats good fun with Canada. You get an ahead of time bonus so you can get it way early. Though normally youd have some arty or tanks along
Liechtenstein gains soldiers in every war, so its impossible to lose any.
Doing any of the AH pathe gives you a shared focus tree which you can use to integrate you puppets and get crazy buffs
Correction: Ulrich von Liechtenstein was not actually from Liechtenstein (different region and family) but from Styrian nobility.
„Today we’re playing as Lick’n!“
„Who‘s lick‘n?“
„Lichtenstein!“

I’m surprised not more people don’t know about the true last monarchy in Europe
The Vatican?
One of my friends who lives in California who, because he was born there but grew up in the states, is a Lichtensteiner citizen
Coo!
Path seems a bit op lol, you get half of Europe for FREE including DIVISONS?!?!?
