The game started going a-historical because you de-colonized which is considered non-historical by the game, and causes the AI to do non-historical things.
THat makes sense!
Any idea on how much that affects it? Like I know ahistorical retains realism-lite (compared to random country path game rule settings) and with that adapts to other countries focus paths. I imagine it is something like?

You forgot about strat-bombing enemy airports! Bombing the airports means that they cant contest you, as well as can kill small amounts of planes at a time (you ARE bombing runways). Something to keep in mind for next time.
7:00 My first thought was that you should have focused on the airfield first and maybe civilian factories. If there is no Airfield, you cannot field any planes, and if there is no civilian factories you cannot repair the airfield.
Does that make sense in practice, or not?
You'd have to constantly have bombers on those tasks, and they can just send in planes from somewhere else, so it doesnt matter.
Better off focusing on mils and civs, sicne that way they cant produce any planes to shoot you down in the first place.

Theoreticly speaking, given the supply arrives from the enemy capital, couldn't you have bombed railways/ports in eastern germany which would had crippled the entire logistical element of German war effort?
Not all supply comes from the capital. Before supply rework you could encircle moscow and all soviet troops would be suplyless. Now that doesn't work
Victory points generate supply on their own as well

I have been getting a lot of Ahistorical events in my games too. I've had the Hungarian-Romanian war, Naval invasions by the Axis into G.B., early WW2 in 1938, and other random events... and those were in games where I played as Iran and stayed non-aligned.
25:17 Not as strange as you might think. In real life the RAF Bomber Command lost a whopping 55k men KIA, out of 125k total men. It was staggeringly dangerous business for the crews.

For single play with AI personally I love stc. so mush they bigger bombs boys will destroy or delays AI to build and product, they will starve combined with logistic strike with tactical bomber (cheeper) I just sit back and watch my inf.with tank destroy AI like making breakfast 😂 But for the multiplayer production cost that enough to say no to stc. bomb, but If you have a good team and coordinate with them might be good to stc bomb to be annoying to others players. Oh and I almost forgot stc navy that can put torpedo on is absolute destroy the entire fleet of enemy if you build enough 😊

People complain about dresden, because the british ruled coventry as a crime. Thus it is only logical that the bombing of dresden is a crime as well.
Same rules for everyone, that's it.
It was a major transport hub and it was required by the soviets to be bombed so that they didn't have to siege the city which would have been far more destructive. Just take a look at what happened to Budapest

0:05 I'm going to say as a British person that Dresden was absolutely wrong. Even the British public of the time weren't happy about it, unlike the Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki there was no point to it as by February 1945 the German population presented little threat to the Allies and little impact on the outcome of the war which by February was already a forgone conclusion, the bombing of Dresden wouldn't hasten an end to the war and instead potentially only inspired Germans to fight on longer. Churchill himself even changed the orders of Bomber Command to focus them in supporting tactical bombing of battles and military factories or bases rather than civilian areas moving forwards.
It should not have been targeted, in fact while it was a rail hub the actual rail network wasn't attacked in the initial bombing and incendiary bombs which were designed more to kill people were used. It wasn't until nearly a month afterwards that the USAAF did an attack on the rail network and nearly a month later again that industry was attacked.
The RAF didn't even possess proper maps of the city before attacking, and 110 factories wasn't even that much and you have to fly over the whole of the Ruhr industrial valley to get to it, thousands of factories that were still fully or partially operational.
The city was full of refugees from the advancing Red Army, even in the heavily "recommended" to vote for the NSDAP election of 1933 (when there was violent thuggery and suppression of anyone else campaigning or demonstrating) Dresden itself remained under 50% in favour of the Nazis so unlike the Bavarian homeland of the party it can't even be argued the civilians were die-hard believers in the cause.
Then there is the "laws of war" argument that covers why a soldier can pre-emptively kill someone on the battlefield as it is in defence of themselves. I think the argument the bombers weren't committing a war crime "because there was a flak tower firing at them" is very short sighted.
To obliterate all civilians because they could "possibly help the war effort" is to put ourselves at the same level as the Nazis and the Soviets.
Of course simulating it for a game is as silly fun as doing a "Liberia world conquest" or "France artillery only" so I don't object to the video itself.

You articulated your points very well. I dislike Wehraboo types as much as the next guy, but paradoxically the “anti-Wehrbs” seem to get on my nerves just as much, if not more. From how many of them talk, they just seem to be constantly itching to justify crimes against civilians and to dehumanize the entirety of the German people. They are the same kinds of people who laugh about the deaths of Russian soldiers from their comfy gaming chairs in America. I’d say our generation seems to lack solidarity and respect for our fellow men.

It's ironic that you talk about how Dresden was pointless because the target was already defeated, and then say "unlike Hiroshima and Nagasaki" as if Japan wasn't already trying to negotiate a surrender at the time.
Hey Aldra, I have a theory for this challenge - so if you protected Czechoslovakia at Munich then yes, you'd have less time to make bombers, but also you could bomb their industry longer so i think that's all
Now I want to see Logistics bombing only or CAS only against Germany, and Naval Bomber only against Japan
(Most of the troops in China are supplied from the mainland, once they run out of convoys, the troops in China are essentially encircled)
Ground Crews dont boost over 100%, so if your efficiency is already at 100% there is no point in using ground crews. But sure usually there is no other use for the command power so its not a big loss.
I remember looking for what missions to use for strat bombing and I remember it stating always target airfields, AA, and refineries. I still think those should be the priority, until the airports and AA are negated enough.

(Tip: In the meantime build in the Philippines to reduce their autonomy and annex them, so Japan doesn't declare war on you, and you can choose when to declare on them, or join the Allies)
