@93ksj depends how you drive it. I believe the 22+ have been adjusted a bit. I don't go harder than spirited driving. Higher rpms you can feel some resistance in the synchros. This is when i wish it was a tremec. But at the end of the day for daily driving and some sporty driving it should be just fine. Some even put blowers on them but i wouldn't want to push the mt-82 harder than stock power. Getting a Mach1 just for the tremec is such a huge price jump and i couldn't justify that.
I own a 2019 GT with the 10 Spd auto as my daily driver and I absolutely love this car. The Mustang is the last standing classic American Icon. Awesome car, super fun to drive, I love the active exhaust, it's comfortable, powerful, looks fantastic, I've had zero issues. The 2024 is about to start sales but the 23 is also a great value. Let's keep Mustang alive for many years!!!

I just got a new ‘22 GT, grabber blue, with 0% financing. I liked the looks of the S550 better, and I really don’t like the screens in the S650. So I told myself, “if you want a new one, it’s now or never.” So I jumped at it.

Even on my crappy notebook speakers that sound is intoxicating 👍👍 Cannot ever go wrong with a GT Mustang - they just look and sound awesome. But I am spoiled. My choice? Shelby GT 500 Super Snake. I got the lucky chance to drive one some years back. Had it dropped in 4th gear and didn't have time to shift, needed to floor it - that engine pulls like there's no tomorrow!! Absolute blast to drive!!

I was close to ordering a s650 but decided to wait. I test drove other cars but none of them had the same v8 sound that’s just exciting every time
Does the clutch on a Mustang still grab 1st gear as soon as lift your big toe off the clutch peddle ? My 1978 did and wasn't adjustable. Headrest up to prevent city driving whiplash & headaches. But it was THE Most fun car I've ever driven.
Got a 22 10sp GT Premium in Grabber Blue. All options except those wheels in the video. Very happy with it. Will probably get the 7th gen years later for the tremec perhaps.

I would do a Mach1 without a question. GT500 is monster! At least you won’t have to worry about theft as much you would with a Charger. Lord knows I want a TRX but just don’t want to deal with the headache
I have the 2023 mustang gt with the 401A package and I gotta say it’s definitely worth it because it looks a lot different inside than this one does. You get way more stitching. The seats are totally different. I’m glad I went with the 401A. I also got the 3.55 gear upgrade I do not have magnaride only because I’d like to be able to upgrade the suspension with ease. It’s an amazing car.
Back when I was able to afford high end sports cars I wished I had given the Mustang a go at least once. That is truly a good looking sports car. Great review Joe and I very much remember The Ruturn of the Jedi at the movie theater with my now two year late younger brother and my mom taking us and I came out thinking I was Luke Skywalker lol. The 5.0 is amazing both manual if you add a clutch and a short throw shifter ND the 10 speed automatic great transmission . I owned them both. With boost and fuel system they make amazing power .
I currently own a 20 GT with the 10spd. I have zero complaints. The car has been flawless. Currently considering the 24 with the performance package. We'll see. But for now, I'm loving my 20.
Still a big difference. the fox body had a 4.9 V8 that they rounded up to 5.0.. not a true 5 liter.. starting in 2011, I believe.. its a 5.1 Liter V8.. They round it down to a 5.0

The last good Stang in history IMO; the new gen one is a plague. But how come this 2023 GT has only 450hp (instead of the usual 460) and no full digital driver's instrumentation??

Buyer Beware with the MT82 Transmission. I see alot of comments on it, but I owned one. Every person I hung out with that also had one had transmission issues. You can claim we didn’t know how to drive them, but I’m an experienced driver and have a lot of high performance driving education. The transmission is a lemon. They haven’t made any changes to that transmission to make it more reliable. Please be informed.
Can get more bang for your buck with a tuner car. Bought a 2nd gen eclipse gsx for $4500 with a built motor a transmission, spent about $5000 total fixing the car, and makes the same hp as a mustang gt except weighs 500 pounds less and is awd and stick shift
Since 1992 Mustangs have always has had a unique V-8 sound from the factory no matter the. Engine like ohv & triton and coyote and also the boss 302 or the cobra 4.6🐍 terminators and other turners have done with them Shelby Steve seliean Roush so many others good video 👍👍👍👍👍

To finish your thought… The Camaro does have more torque at 455 to 410 in this 22’ so it may def have half a car length on the Mustang up to 60 MPH but get into 3rd gear in the 6 speed or around 70 MPH and that 5.0 will leave the 6.2 Pushrod of the Camaro each and every time…

The first thing I did when I got my 2020 base GT was to get rid of that front bumper for a GT 500 one. Everything else about that car, I love it.

My ‘22 also is rated at 450hp. Take out the carbon pre-filter inside the airbox and you get your 10 hp back.
Going more digital is what detracts from the 2024.
Wood would look lovely on that interior, replace the silver and it would add a classy feel.
