Hi there 😊 I m from Norway and really enjoy your teaching! And also your humor! Your the best without doubt! I startet some picking in the late 70.s. I bought a guitar learning book to learn picking to some Kris Kristoffersen songs at the time. Apparently I developed my own style and it seems like I cant get out of it! It suits a lot of songs , but not all. I been trying to catch up on your Travis picking, but fall back on my own style! ....

Ive never had lessons. Been playing for more yrs than I care to admit. Its embarrassing I dont play better than I do😂. Thank you for this! I play the bass lines when I fingerpick but this will help fill in!! Wish you lived close by, Id be bugging you to learn all I can, that is if you can teach an old dog new tricks! You make it look easy! Dont stop making videos!!❤

Thanks for all your tutorials. You seem to have lessons on all the songs I wanted to play on guitar.
Did you ever do a lesson on Nick Drake's Riverman?
I always have trouble with the timing on this one with its unusual 5/4 timing.

Hi Norman; just flit from one lesson to another; it keeps things fresh and prevents boredom with one party piece. ✌️

Very good. I think I’m becoming a pest, but……. How to use, adapt the aeolian scale into a melody or riff of a specific example song would be of interest. I find your best content, for me, is new, interesting picking incorporated into a song. Big yellow taxi, Every breath you take, Mr. Tambourine man are examples. When there’s a good chord progression in a song, I add Travis type picking to enhance it. But that’s not the same as playing the melody or adding a solo. No matter, all your content is good and helpful! I hope your subscriber count is upping the quid count! [We had a good year living in Cambridge, Cherry Hinton, decades ago.] Cheers

Hi Eric, Re the scale; it’s up to the player what order the notes go on. For example; Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight uses the Aeolian scale to create the main riff. 👍🏻
