This is first video in a series which will determine if Almaty is indeed a city I can potentially relocate! What do you all think of the city in the winter? Is Almaty a city you would move to? What are some cities where you would like to relocate?!
I would say to you this... Do a full year in Almaty and then decide if you want to live there long term. Of course, Korea will always leave the door open for you should you ever decide to return. We'll miss you and best wishes brother! 🙌🙏
Thank you for this! I haven't decided anything yet, just taking a look during the winter since I only saw it during the summer:) It's a nice city, but I'm still deciding!! I'm happy to hear Korea would welcome me back IF I left and wanted to return! Thank you for that!!!!:)
I bet the air would be clearer than what it is here in Korea. It might be nice to experience a different environment for a change since you've been in korea for so long.. but I'd still love to see you come back and enjoy your life in korea 14 more years!!😂
Sometimes, the air can be bad because the air can't escape the mountains, but for the most part, pretty good there! And right! I've been in Korea for such a long time. It may be time for a change. I can always come back for another 14-year stint if need be lol
You will make a happy life wherever you are because of your positive and nice personality. I wish you the best even though I would be sad if you leave Seoul 😢😊😊
Awww, thank you so much!!! Nothing is confirmed yet! Just doing some scouting:) I really like Almaty, though:) I'll be in Seoul for a little while longer!:)
Those icicles!! You often hear about the differences between Russian and American cultures. How we tend to be really smiley and chatty to strangers (which tends to come off as fake) whereas Russian (or Russian adjacent) people tend to be more "somber" looking in passing but more genuine with their feelings or expressions. I'm not sure if that's true or if that's the vibe in Almaty?
home is where the vibe is fr...and where its affordable xD as i get older i realize more and more that in order to appreciate the seasons for all that they are, you have to experience all of them. If i ever get to live in southeast Asia one day the thing that I'm going to miss the most about living where i live now is that i get all 4 seasons. The hot hazy summers, the beautiful colors of the trees in the fall, the white snow and briskness of winter, and the newness and refreshing vibe of spring all work together to make the next season after what it is if you really think about it.
I like this story, bro:) I'm in Thailand right now, and while I love traveling here, I don't think I can do without winter. It's as you say. The chasing of the seasons is what makes the next season worth it. But the vibes in Almaty are nice in the winter and not nearly as cold as I thought!
You have solid income and stable job in Korea. You want to now move to Kazakhstan? Will you be a US Nigerian-Russian (jk) underground fighter at the cage to make the ends meet?? (Btw, there are 20% Slav White Russians and 80% Kazakh Asian living there)
I still haven't seen the Borat movie...I've heard he doesn't depict the country in a good light. It's a pretty cool place in my opinion...and if you have money to live there.
Thanks for the welcome!! I visited there a few times and loved the vibe there! I also love the food of Central Asia, so I'm highly considering moving there for a new job! Thanks again for the welcome!!:)
Im from Almaty but live in the US. I’m going to visit this summer and my kids love everything about Almaty , they look forward to going there every time. Hope you enjoyed winter in Almaty )
It's a wonderful city to be in! It doesn't move as much as Seoul, but it has its own unique vibe that is difficult to replicate:) I happy your kids love Almaty too!

A lot of 고려인 leaves in Kazastan and Uzbakistan have great influenced country development by Korean and Russian.
@heavenhaven7254 I have seen many Koreans there because of business, so I guess there is a lot of development by Korea there!
It's understandable..your Kazakhstan videos got a lot more views
Best of luck in your endeavors
Oh, that's not the reason hahaha. I'm not a full-time RUclipsr, so I'm not thinking of moving for views hahaha

Only during a winter season, due to increasing pollution from city heating facilities

Quality of life, health care, security. Important decisions should always be made with a full stomach. Good luck Francois..
You are correct! I haven't made any decisions as of yet. Just scouting as of now:)

@@francoismarc3 what part of thailand? Almaty looks like my kind of place tho. kind of quiet but still looks like stuff happens
@sixx_xlr In Pattaya right now. I like this place, but don't think I could live here. Almaty is calm, but it does move a bit!
a very good video
Amazing place😊
But don't go😢
I think so! At least for the two seasons I've visited! Would you want to move there?!
@francoismarc3 not bad idea if I can work!
@small1kki I think so!!!
You can earn decent salary in kz as well. Welcome bro, I wish you wonderful experience

Well, I applied for a new job that pays more with better benefits and upward mobility, so it's possible I could leave Korea, but not sure as of yet:)
@ Btw, first, make sure it is a stable job. There's gotta be some good reason why currently, about 50,000 Kazakhs work in Korea
I hope you do get to live there dude
Would be a nice change, man
17:10 every child has done this at least once😁
Hahaha, you are correct!!
With all that is going on in the US…Korea would be a good choice for a move.
Korea is a nice place for sure and I love living there, but I don't know if there is anymore upward mobility for me in my profession:(
Come to Thailand and stay at Thailand!
I'm here in Thailand now, but I don't think I could live here hahaha but I love this place!
When mongoila?
Maybe next week!!
@@francoismarc3 oh really?
@thecoldrest yup!
@@francoismarc3 nice!
Seems like you're thinking of getting married to a Kazakh woman?
The only reason I've heard of this country is because of Borat and Shavkat Rakhmonov (#2 WW UFC Fighter).
Seems like a great place to live.
I still haven't seen the Borat movie...I've heard he doesn't depict the country in a good light. It's a pretty cool place in my opinion...and if you have money to live there.
Wow. Welcome to Kazakhstan! 🎉😍 What made you choose Kazakhstan potentially move maybe? Is it something specific? Hope you enjoy your trip!😍

@@francoismarc3 of course Seoul is a big city more like NY . Maybe one day we will visit Seoul too.
@Dina-jp6qu I hope you will come visit Seoul! You will love it as much as Almaty:)
come visit BISHKEK
