I agree with what you said about the friends-to-lovers trope. There's a lot of books out there where the protagonists cross the line from friends to lovers *for no apparent reason*. That's one of my complaints about "Inked in Lies" by Giana Darling. The couple are childhood friends but since he was so much older than her, they were never really romantic. Times moves on, she becomes an adult and he still sees her as a child and doesn't reciprocate her advances. Then she gets tired of his inattention and gets engaged and he's still not interested. It goes on like that for a while... and then BAM he's interested. What is going on here? What? Why? Who? What was the catalyst? What made him stay away? What made him go for it in the end? It never made any sense...
Just finished The Great Alone. Wow, that book left me with so many feelings & emotions. It pulled me out of a reading slump. Thank you for the recommendation 😊
I really enjoyed the style of this video. Read with me, book review, but also come along while I do such and such ❤️ Im so ready for beachy summer reads!!
I love your vlogs so much!! People we Meet on Vacation is my favorite Emily Henry book, but I do love friends to lovers, and while it probably annoyed you I thought your cats were funny in that one clip! 😂🏔️

I LOVE spark of the ever flame. I’m waiting for the next audiobook.
I am so happy you finally found good books that you enjoy! I missed you when you removed all your videos.
I have a fascination with books set in the Vietnam War era. It is my parents era and it helps me understand what they could have been feeling at the time. I was a small child so I don't remember anything about that time. I loved The Great Alone and The Women and have a list of more books I want to read.⛰
Thumbnail colors on point 👏😆🧡
Thank you 😊
A good reading vlog. 🏔️🏔️
I love Kristen Hannah's books and her writing style, but they are heavy topics and heartbreaking story at times. I had to take a long break from her books 😅
The Great Alone is my favorite Kristin Hannah book! I own The Women but I haven’t read it yet.
good reading vlog.
