Paint the raised letters the same color as the truck !
I'm surprised more people don't do that. I did that in the 90's to my trucks and painted the inside chrome to match the truck, looks COOL. Drivers thought Peterbilt had made them custom for me. hehehe Keep up the good work on the channel. I'm the guy who suggested you polish the "Y" pipe on the exhaust, still waiting to see you do that. Take care!!
Had been doing this since '00 with KW & PETE emblems!!!!!!😎💯
Neat idea but I still like the red.
Me too.
I also like the original look 👍
Seriously, need you to crank out 3 videos a week. Love this channel!
Hot water power washer, 45 seconds the gel coating is blown right out.
You can also boil em in hot water for a bit if you dont have a heat gun or hair dryer
How do you guys only have 26k subs? That should be a million by now! Love this channel
Thank you 🙏
Like the way you put this video together. You sure do put a lot of effort into your finished trucks
Be really neat to see a color matched emblem
Nice looks good thanks for the tip didn't think it would be that easy
I like this kind of videos keep doing it thanks
New idea to paint match them to my truck
Its on now, thx!!!
Cool thanks for sharing
& personally, I like the red emblem better, but there may be colors you’d need to do that for.
Thats awesome Keep it coming.
That was good. Looks easier than thought it would be
Can you guys make a video how to take off gel coated Peterbilt emblems, because I'm planning on adding Glass emblems on a 389!!
O melhor caminhão do mundo este bazuka Foz do Iguaçu pr Brasil caminhonista também
Personally, I like the green badges.
Parabéns sou mais um escrito
Do seu canal. Aconpanho aqui do

Nice video. Still waiting on a video about the 379/389 hidden hood latch kits
we will do that soon
Can also stick them in the oven get a little price started and used compressed air you can darn near get it to pop right off
Maybe a stiff bristle nylon brush would remove those stubborn areas without hurting the chrome
Just a thought
How much do you charge I have a 90 model Pete
Heck ya I love your show I wanna see you guy do a lowrider pete with the lil car hauler tires the 255 70 22.5 slammed on the ground gangsterfied like a deep green flake paint job or whatever color but some thing with big flake in it og gangsterrrr boogie yo
We have something similar coming up soon
Thanks for that peterbilt hack lol 👍👍
Very interesting, now what can I heat up?
"69 degrees"
Nice.
Cool !!
Awesome video, thank you! Do you know if this method will work on a Kenworth emblem?
Awsome ‼️
Great video I've been waiting for It. Thank you What about taking the red out and painting the red part the same color as the truck?
you can do that, just need some liquid masking tape and a good bit of patience.
I think it was Sweet on legendary Blue. Thank you for the info.
What’s the update on the old Pete getting rebuilt
Kool
What tools do you use to remove all 3 emblems from the hood?
Would this work with the hard resent one as well
not 100% sure
👍👍👍👍👍
That screwdriver is scratching it way more than the razor blade would. Great channel though 😊
The microphone on the camera picks up the sound making it seem that way, but it really isn't.
So....any cardboard box?
👍😉
Are the interior emblems the same?
Not sure about those, haven’t ever tried to mess with them.
Is it possible to scratch the emblems with the screwdriver to the point it might rust later?
Yes, you have to be careful not to apply to much pressure, But the chrome finish is pretty resilient.
Maybe a stiff toothbrush would help with that little stuff. Just a thought.
That’s not a bad idea
lol 69 degrees
das rote Emblem sieht besser aus
I don't think it's 230 degrees. 10 seconds later. Ouch maybe it is 230 degrees lol.
I’ve did this before without using heat and it all came out the first try 🤷🏻♂️
ITS HOT!!!😂👍
Use an O-ring pick or something like that.
Borrow a dental pick from your local dentist
Agree, don’t do it on the truck as you will definitely blister the paint. Then it gets expensive.
Scratch the crap out of it with that screwdriver......
The microphone on the camera picks up the sound making it seem that way, but it really isn't.
Wear a glove
It would help! lol
