Timmy Gentry directed me to this channel @SEMI Casual. I see that you have a great inventory of LED lights. Did Timmy Gentry tell you guys that he was gonna bring the INTERNATIONAL Air Force Cabover for you to have some stuff done with it ?
Fuel tanks -> LEAVE THEM ALONE and, if possible, put a strip of blue LED's under the sleeper shining down on the top of the tanks. That, along with the strip of yellow "chicken" lights along the side of the sleeper, should give a nice effect at night.
Blue paint on the straps, but keep the tanks polished. Also get the rubber on the windows covered with that polished strip BUT painted in silver. (It is on my truck and wish I could show you) Absolutely beautiful! I personally prefer amber lights over the clear ones, doesn't do it for me. I think you guys should do the cab light in the amber glass. Good job love it!!!
I think an ole school look with a modern twist would be a great theme. Leave the fuel tanks polished and paint the straps of the DEF tank and fuel tanks the color of the frame. Not too many lights that it’s overwhelming but enough that it looks good going down the freeway. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Also I really hope you guys take on the AirForce truck as a project as well. I love old school trucks that look clean.
I always thought every semi truck should have a thiem . Need to paint the Silver Surfer comic book character on the back of the sleeper . And maybe paint some surf waves as stripes down each side. A bug deflector that says COWABUNGA. Ok...Ok... Sorry ... I got carried away. Great video and great looking truck 👍.
Keep the clear. I would keep lolly pops as the blinker. Program as running would drive the driver nuts every time checking mirror plus may even blind driver when turning back to roadway
Keep the clear lenses on the lights, paint the tank straps to match the frame. I think some stripes to match the frame, along with the breather straps would be a nice touch.
Paint the tanks silver and straps teal with the frame. And add blue switchbacks to the cab light so when you sitting you could switch them to add just that much more class
That looks to be an old school blue , I would feel it would look sharp with the Seminole stripe ,2 more clearance lights on top, 14” blind mount visor painted both sides window chops painted both sides, ooooh yyyyeah! Boogy Dat Boogy Dat!
You should turn it into a Heavy Duty Quick swap Tow truck and put strobe lights on the top of the sleeper, on the front grill and the back of the sleeper with an Arrow stick
Put drop panels on the side of the sleeper painted silver with the lights under the bottom, not on the side. Paint the Air, DEF and Fuel tanks blue to match the frame, (except polish the end caps on the fuel tanks) and polish ALL tank straps. Ditch the lights on the top of the cab for a drop visor painted to match the truck (inside and out) with lights embedded in the visor. (Losing everything on top of the cab will make the truck appear lower).Put drop panels at the top of both doors painted to match truck (inside and out) will make it look like you "Chopped" the Top. Install 8" Stacks as tall as you can get by with will make the truck seem even lower. 22" Blind mount bumper with an airlift system. You gotta show the Cummins some love too. Take all aluminum air ducts off the engine and polish them. Try to find RED hoses and bellows that connect all of the piping in the engine compartment. (Too much color going on in there with Red, Black, and Blue pieces and parts.) Get it down to at most, Red and Black. And for heaven's sake, swap out the PACCAR fuel filter for a Davco unit. Polished tool boxes on both sides in front of the rear wheels and full cover rear wheel fenders painted silver.
Polished tanks and matching tank straps .I need some of those breather lights for the air filters for my truck. Y'all need to talk to my boss and get me some. 🍀
You guys are great! Can’t wait for more videos to come. Congrats on the channel and make sure you guys show Tim some love for recommending us to go watch ur videos.
I like the idea of mirror shiny polished tanks with the lights reflecting off them but also painted the same color as the truck and panels would be a nice touch as well. As far as stripes or no stripes go I could go either way. Stripes using the same color as the frame would look pretty sharp as long as it wasn’t over done. Me personally designs and stripes are cool looking but I am a fan of something simple and clean, I like a combo of a good paint and chrome ratio. It’s always been my dream to have my cdl’s and drive a slick, clean and low looking 379/389 EXT Pete.
Tanks and steps leave chrome, If you paint the tanks straps that be cool. Visor with button running lights and the drop box close to the fifth wheel for all connections in the deck plate. That would make the most amount of sense to me but what do I know just a small trucking business owner out of maine.
Looking forward to seeing y'alls work. Can't wait to see what you guys do to Tim's cab over. I bet by end of month you'll have 20,000 subscribers, I'm a new sub
Silver tanks blue strip. Or consider a Blue mud splash . A friend did a vibrant green mud splash on a white jeep and it is the best looking jeep in Florida.
Why not do tanks blue and silver plus a blue stripe. Also I’d put blue horns in the open spots on the cab. One in each spot. On a future project you should do an old school color with all old school accessories like the fake temp gauge and handles. Old style air filter lights. Just all old school.
Don't paint the tanks, polish them out. I'm not fond of the blue frame either. I drive a '18 Peterbilt 389 with the same Silver Effect with a black frame and what we did was old school pinstripping. Besides the Durabrites and polished aluminum and chrome from the factory, we added a stainless 15" visor, stainless front fender guards, stainless under cab light panels, front and rear and under lid air cleaner lights, polished aluminum tool box, stainless fenders over the drives, stainless mudflap hangers, and chrome hubcaps and lug covers on all the wheels. I pull a '18 East Genesis all aluminum dump trailer with this truck and it also shines equally well. I'm telling you two, all the stainless, polished aluminum, and chrome on a silver Peterbilt really stands out big time especially when it's out in the sun.
The air cleaners you need to make them strapless make it look clean either need to shave the lights off the top or put nine lights up on top if you shave it need to put button lights in the visor all the way across make it look clean looking
I Wish The History and Discovery Channels would Put You Two on TV My You two do AMAZING Work taken a Stock Truck and Turning Out a Beautiful Amazing Beautiful Truck l really Appreciate what You two do l look forward to Seeing You two Finish the Truck can't wait to See what You do to the Truck Good Luck and Love The Lights perfect Look Awesome I'm So Happy Tim Gentry sent Me to your Channel
Chrome looks great on some trucks, but the look they're going for here, it'll throw the whole thing off. If you were to have a solid color truck with black frame, chrome panels with chicken lights (you know like 95% of peterbilts on the road) than yes, leave the tanks polished, but when you paint that frame you need to take most of the shiny stuff off.
And for a second truck I would move the DPF box to the driver's side and put in her original style step on the passenger side and then put like I leave gas cover box on the passenger side for another storage box
Those clear lights look really clean. Paint the tanks silver and leave the straps polished. NOOOOO stripes. I liked the work you did on Bruce’s Blue Collar. .
Leave tanks polished with wide straps painted blue to match the frame . What it really needs is a 15" double drop stainless visor . To bad that you can't get a yellow motor anymore . ( CAT )
im on board with several others DONT paint tanks but maybe just paint tank straps!!! i am diggin all the ""chicken" lights (yes back in the day when i drove we called them that)) i didnt chime in on forst video but id love a chance to win one of those trucks...looks to be 1/64 scale which i have a small collection of...anyway cant wait to see this done...back in the day i ran a black 379 which wad just bad ass....pete in my book is the best ..altho i am a fan of cat power!! glad i found channel!!...btw did i mention LOTS of lights are awesome!!
I don’t know that color is called but a little goes along way. Rear fenders, if installed the color of the cab accented by that blue/green, whatever it is. If you do the tanks, cab color, tank straps, frame cover.
You guys should do the double row button lights on the outside like you did on the breathers there that would be a theme matching and the underglow lights under the frame from the back of the sleeper all the way to the back of the will mice and then do underglow underneath of the engine and bumper and make sure you had two sets of Roseau button lights to the bumper and word lights to the back of the sleeper and add white candles in between the tanks and the sleeper with undergo to lying on them and I had a tail panel light down there cuz I go on it and I'm about two lights in the back
The clear lights really set the truck off!!! BUUUUUUT.... she needs a stainless visor and well, you know me, I think the tanks need to be HIGH POLISHED!
Put 2 more lights on the roof top a 7 light roof .... Would leave the tanks chrome with end caps painted frame blue or truck color but would not paint who's fuel tank... Strip package needed
Guys, I like the direction you are going. Look to the Rolls Royce Silver Phaeton and Phaeton II for direction. Think of a grand old gentleman standing in a silver and grey tuxedo . in the period of the 1890s to 1920 period yoyr gloves and spatz( shoe covers ) wrer the same color : red to red, blues to blues... Yhe bling of chrome, silvers , greys with the color is the pop. Your frame is the peterbuilt blue. Go with that red pin stripe or what is called a boot strlipe on boats down the leangth. Thats a gentlemans truck
Gentry directed me here. It's cool watching you guys trick out these trucks. Please don't paint the tanks. Can't wait to see what y'all do with the Air Force cab over
Like what you guys did with the light, and I would paint the tanks blue with a blue strip on the cab and sleeper. Add the lights at the inner top of the breather, but I really would change out the black 1/4 fenders for some 32 inch 1/4 fenders. But I do like the Awesome content and cannot wait for what ever you do add to the Truck I'am positive it will be Great.....
Okay, here's my opinion. Keep the clear lights. They look sick on the silver truck and do give it a cleaner look. You could add a row of round clears to the front bumper and then add some clears to the back of the sleeper (running, brake, signal, and reverse). Overall, very nice looking truck. The only thing I don't like on it is that gosh awful blue on the frame, axles, hardware, etc. That's just me. I would've probably color matched the frame (etc) and the cab. Anyway! Great video guys. Looking forward to watching more from your channel.
Stripe the truck leave them tanks alone only buff them to a high polished mirror shine if y'all want to accent the tanks paint the straps......get paint matched side window chops will give the truck a meaner stance with a painted drop visor
Congrats on the channel guys looking forward to future projects!!!

Was watching Tim's channel he said ye boys are worth a watch so hear I am looking to more videos ,👍
The tank holders should color match the frame I think.
I agree
Yep, tanks silver, tank straps blue
yes please don't paint the tank just the straps
PLEASE DON'T PAINT THE FUEL TANKS!!!! Leave POLISHED ALUMINUM
Blue paint on the straps, but keep the tanks polished. Also get the rubber on the windows covered with that polished strip BUT painted in silver. (It is on my truck and wish I could show you) Absolutely beautiful!

I would do old school stripes or a pin stripes.I like the tanks the way they are.
Leave tanks polished, painted they’ll get all chipped up .lots of coats of liquid glass polish 👍
Tim said to check you guys out. Not disappointed. Would be proud to Cruz down the road in that tractor
Keep the clear. I would keep lolly pops as the blinker. Program as running would drive the driver nuts every time checking mirror plus may even blind driver when turning back to roadway
Silver on the tank. You should take pics and post with possible color changes

Yes please leave all chrome alone. The lights looks GREAT! The stripe would be ok.
Peterbilt emblem on the sides of the hoos would look awesome painted to match the frame.
Gentry told me about your channel I like it already 43 years of driving the road
I like Brian's idea, A stripe the same color as the frame on the truck.
Put drop panels on the side of the sleeper painted silver with the lights under the bottom, not on the side. Paint the Air, DEF and Fuel tanks blue to match the frame, (except polish the end caps on the fuel tanks) and polish ALL tank straps. Clear lights look great.
Came here from Tim’s channel. I like what I see. Keep up the great videos.
Polished tanks and matching tank straps .I need some of those breather lights for the air filters for my truck. Y'all need to talk to my boss and get me some. 🍀

Love the clear lights
Hi I like the clear lights makes it look classy and clean.

I like the Silver Surfer idea. Give props to Gentry, he sent a bunch of us here.
Usually I haye the clear lenses but they look amazing with that silver.
Silver tanks blue strip. Or consider a Blue mud splash . A friend did a vibrant green mud splash on a white jeep and it is the best looking jeep in Florida.

Polished tanks blue straps like the clear lights blend into truck during day stand out when dark a blue body stripe would look nice as well.
looks absolutley amazing and clean with that silver and clear LED's , And im with the tank being Silver.
The air cleaners you need to make them strapless make it look clean either need to shave the lights off the top or put nine lights up on top if you shave it need to put button lights in the visor all the way across make it look clean looking
Definitely go with the fiberglass double hump rear fenders with lights in the cab color or the frame color
Mr Tim from Gentry amd sons put me on to your new channel and truck looks amazing.. Good job and GOD BLESS
Paint the tank the same as the cap and sleeper but paint the straps the blue of the frame, some kind of strip would look good as well.
GREAT JOB AND YOU HAD FUN TOO!
Please dont paint any chrome. needs more chrome
It doesn’t need more chrome. This thing’s gonna turn into a circus truck if they listen to you people
Chrome looks great on some trucks, but the look they're going for here, it'll throw the whole thing off. If you were to have a solid color truck with black frame, chrome panels with chicken lights (you know like 95% of peterbilts on the road) than yes, leave the tanks polished, but when you paint that frame you need to take most of the shiny stuff off.
Put watermelon lights on the corner of bumper along with the rear window visor, would do a full light bar across the back
Need more roof lights
Can you do a video on programming the mirror lights to marker and blinker
Very nice additions like em y'all did well.
Keep the tanks polished and put a drop visor on it.Also put light bars on the truck with the same lighting.
Silver tanks with polished ends then a blue broken up hockey stripe on the truck
Silver or blue tanks just make sure you keep the straps chrome
And for a second truck I would move the DPF box to the driver's side and put in her original style step on the passenger side and then put like I leave gas cover box on the passenger side for another storage box
What happened to the old days of stainless steel and chrome
I'd like to know, too.
I would like to see lights under the cab and the sleeper i guess i am old school i like everything that was popular years ago
( CAT )
Awesome content boys.Clear lights look sweet.
love the progress so far
Teal tanks and 2 inch stainless drop panels for the bunk and the cab
im on board with several others DONT paint tanks but maybe just paint tank straps!!! i am diggin all the ""chicken" lights (yes back in the day when i drove we called them that)) i didnt chime in on forst video but id love a chance to win one of those trucks...looks to be 1/64 scale which i have a small collection of...anyway cant wait to see this done...back in the day i ran a black 379 which wad just bad ass....pete in my book is the best ..altho i am a fan of cat power!! glad i found channel!!...btw did i mention LOTS of lights are awesome!!
love lights. mad lights
I like the clear ones better the truck looks great
I don’t know that color is called but a little goes along way. Rear fenders, if installed the color of the cab accented by that blue/green, whatever it is. If you do the tanks, cab color, tank straps, frame cover.

Love the color on that pete
Paint the tanks silver and the straps the frame color. Then add a stripe on the truck.
Silver tanks blue tank straps.
good work guys
Cab and sleeper all silver. tanks silver, tank straps frame blue
If you have to paint the tanks, then I’d go with silver on the main body of the tanks, but paint the ends the matching blue of the frame.
I’d polish the aluminum and paint the straps blue. Also, whichever way you go, paint the DEF cover blue.
I'm a retired truck driver was watching Tim's show he thought we would like it
The clear lights really set the truck off!!! BUUUUUUT.... she needs a stainless visor and well, you know me, I think the tanks need to be HIGH POLISHED!
Clear pen lights on the bunker also on extended hood
Like all the new lights
More lights the more lights the better
Pant the tanks to match the cab with the straps matching the frame
Put 2 more lights on the roof top a 7 light roof .... Would leave the tanks chrome with end caps painted frame blue or truck color but would not paint who's fuel tank... Strip package needed
Needed the lights inside the air cleaners. No paint on tanks except straps paint frame color. Pin strips on sleeper and cab.
I think paint the tanks silver and paint the tank straps the blue
I think blue stripes would look great, but polish the tanks would make it look great!
Do the tanks silver and when you do blue stripes down the truck do blue stripes down the tanks.
THUMBS UP. LOOKS VERY CLEAN .
I think tanks gray/silver same as cab but the chassis colour fancy pin striped
Guys, I like the direction you are going. Look to the Rolls Royce Silver Phaeton and Phaeton II for direction. Stripe sounds good
Gentry directed me here. It's cool watching you guys trick out these trucks. Please don't paint the tanks. Can't wait to see what y'all do with the Air Force cab over
I would do the tanks mat black with blue and silver custom pin stripe.think that would set off the whole truck
Tim sent me here, glad he did.
Gray wheels and black chrome......😎
If you want to paint the tanks, I think they should be the color of the truck with blue tank straps. A blue stripe would look good on the truck also.
Like what you guys did with the light, and I would paint the tanks blue with a blue strip on the cab and sleeper. Leave the tanks just put a blue stripe down side of cab to match frame
Came from Gentry's channel, show us Whatcha got 😎👍
Looks good brother
Tanks same color as the truck and a double blue set of strips going along the side would be awesome
Stripe the truck leave them tanks alone only buff them to a high polished mirror shine if y'all want to accent the tanks paint the straps......get paint matched side window chops will give the truck a meaner stance with a painted drop visor
Silver tanks polished straps holding them on
I would like to see the fuel tanks chrome and the truck with some sort of stripes
