These are really helpful tips for getting the crisp photos I want. My main struggle right now is getting skin tone right: not ashy, not too pale, not too warm. And with family members that have slightly different skin tones in one photo, it exacerbates the difficulty.
Can you create a video to show tips and tricks with setting up a photoshoot in a studio indoor setting? I ordered prop lights to make soft lighting and would like one see some good examples of how to set up the lighting. Thank you!
Thanks so much you guys are always very helpful! I would love to see you explain if you focus on the subject and then recompose before taking the shot. And maybe in detail how you do all that. Or because you use continuous focus do you just constantly hold down the button so that it’s always refocusing? Thank you!
I’ve been shooting for a while and feel I have the technical details down pat. However, I struggle with having the eye for composition and finding the perfect spot to take photos.
You really set the record straight. MOST of our problems are self induced...I'm guilty. It isn't luck, it is not magic, and it isn't a mystery. It's science. We can learn it. The problem is keeping it in the forefront of our brain and using the information to our advantage. It's only five points... I'll try to make the best of it!
How about anything lighting. Outdoors, mottled lighting from trees, people in part-shade part sun, backlit subjects, fill flash, indoors, large or high ceiling... anything would be great!
Thank you for all the tips! I need help with editing. Do you use presets or hand edit all your images? I had edit and feel like I cant get all my images to look consistent. I thought about just buying presets.
I wondered if you would ever speak on being nervous after delivering photos whether the recipient likes them or not, or whether I got enough variety, or sent enough photos. This is something I deal with because I want to please, but not get run over! And do you ever use an nd filter?
Hi! Thank you for the video! Quick question I use a Nikon D7 50 and when I am in AFC, the squares are always moving around - how to do you fix focus on the eye? I use traditional focus not back button focus. Thanks!
The most prominent thing that I struggle with is color. Specifically, trying the control the yellows and reds in my photos. I always have to correct the color in post in photoshop. I have never used custom white balance, and I have been told that it may be a solution to my problem. Can you help??
Thanks for tuning in today! Enjoy your week.
Thank you for this helpful video! Do you sell presets?
We do! e-squared.mykajabi.com/offers/WSSYffgk

I second this question
Was actually looking for info on Product Photography, but the advice here was still good.

Great video. Thank you! My biggest struggle would be getting clients and posting on social media. Not my strong suits

Are you using spot focus?

@@stephaniefisher3045 I don’t believe the Nikon d750 has that option. We used single point with the Nikon d750 and then focus’s and recomposed.
