Language translator is a very useful app that every smartwatch/band must have. It's very beneficial specially for those who travels a lot and language is a barrier for them. Good to see that Xiaomi started some new features. But major problem with Xiaomi is that their products are mostly launched in China only not globally, they actually need to work on this problem.

I think your review improved heaps. Less repeated words and with expanded vocabulary as compared from beginning days, which make it easier listen to. I like the spontaneity in between your review which makes it more wholesome. But good review
Looking at his needing to swipe more than once to register in like 50% cases, gosh I don't think I have the patience to handle unresponsive device like this. Guess I'll just wait for the next gen. Hopefully xiaomi make a smoother experience of their pro band.
No he is just swiping from the bezels which is a mistake I own a mi band and you're supposed to swipe in the middle not the bezels cause of course bezels don't respond cause theyre not a part of the screen
I have some questions: • Can you set the language of the watch to a different language than your phone? • Does it support traditional Chinese, or only simplified? • Are there any apps that aren't properly translated into English? • I noticed it showed the date in the wrong format (there is no 13th month). Is that due to the watch face you are using, or does the watch always show a Month/Day date (rather than Day/Month)
I send the Xiaomi band 7 back because of the sleep monitoring. Naps, even when it's from 11:00pm to 12:00pm and going to bed at 2:am are added to the night sleep the night before. Really weird. I wonder if this is still the case with the Xiaomi band 7 pro or even more expensive Xiaomi watches.

I actually planning to upgrade from my Mi Band 4 to a new model if they will include the GPS built-in, but now with this kind of size I think I would rather get smartwatch like Amazfit GTS series since their size probably not much different. But still I prefer the regular Mi band 7 then this Pro model just for the size, more comfortable to wear during my sleep time.
What’s the watch face that shows just the am/pm, time, day, month/date, battery called (your favorite you said)? Looks awesome. Is it downloadable for free via the app itself?
Can you set the AOD to show the actual normal watchface or do you just get a couple AOD options that only show the time like the digital time AOD you showed in the video?
Can u check a few things...1. For timer when it reacher zero how many times does the band vibrate. 2. AOD are fixed or they follow the watch face ? Thanx
I do think a global version is in the works. The main prob with China variant is that most of the apps within the band is made for China. ie. WeChat, Alipay, etc. Also the fonts are not showing up properly, and you need to set your region to China in the Mi Fit app in order to even pair it with the Smart Band 7 Pro.
@@marcmalajos no it will not work. They have it control in the app, when you change the region the watch disappear. If you buy it now just have to bear with it.
Why not just buy Amazfit GTS series ? with this kind of screen size & price smartwatch probably much better and their price not that much different, at least here in Malaysia
It's notorious that this watch does not sync with the new MI fitness app. Manual sync is needed, otherwise no steps or activity is ever recorded. Please, don't buy it unless it's confirmed that the watch syncs with the app, everybody is waiting on an update for many months now. Awful support.
Thanks for the video and the tips to pair the watch, where you mentioned the origin has to be pointed to China. However, the notification is not working for WeChat and Whatsapp, it is working with standard apps like SMS, Calendar and phone. Anyone got the same problem, or any help? Thanks.
Hope they replace the AI to Google Assistant and the NFC can be use for GPay when it's release globally then one less reason to buy a smartwatch for now 😁
It's not a Wear OS, but a Zepp OS. So there won't be any Google Assistant or Google Apps. Unless they upgrade their chipsets and move on to Wear OS. But that wouldn't not be Mi Band anymore, but a watch, as the size would increase.

How about automatic brightness adjustment? Will it be sensitive?
It’s good enough to ensure the correct brightness in diff environments.
Keep in mind that the AoD features doesn't have auto brightness, so hard to see if you use outdoor

@qtsssim the writing system itself isn't banned there. Hong Kong and Macau also use traditional.

There is no global version yet but when it does arrive, it’ll function similar to a MB7 with proper English fonts and text.

Ended up returning the charge 5, the Amazfit band 7 has been amazing and I might even keep it over the mi band 7 pro as it's so small and compact.

AOD follows watchface but limited. Only few designs for AOD now.
