sweets SIG didnt decide to make a US model.....in fact SIG Sauer closed their German plant due to financial issues during the Corona pandemic and sold their share to the US entity in New Hampshire so fom 2021 all SIG's are US made and thats why this "re-release" or X5 2.0 version is US made. I'm one of the lucky few who owns the super rare German made X5 and that thing runs like butter on ball bearings :) .....there is a little noticeable quality difference between the orginal German made and the new US made.... but on a positive note the US made are now available cheaper ....well if you call 2,3 K cheap ;)
I have bought my 6 months ago and im still waiting for my p226 x5. Im from Germany and europe will get the new x5 in Mai 2023. I have paid 3.700€ 😅 how its about the precision of the x5?

brother had one of these briefly neither of us were impressed with it's accuracy.. was pretty bad to be honest would much rather have a CZ for similar weight and price.
it's too much of a specialty type gun that doesn't fit with my needs and it's way too expensive for my cheap ass. it's nice they give you 3 mags. I always get 10 mags

I touched X5, but never take it to the range. That phenomenal slide glass smooth is what I like on my P226 Elite.
