What about other things he done like making up a phony profile for Mrs.Krabappel and leading her on into thinking this guy is interested in her..not to mention having her be stood up on a date. If you don't like your teacher, fine. But she doesn't deserve to be humiliated.
What about in the episode 'Miracle on Evergreen Terrace' when Bart opens up one of his Christmas presents early and accidentally burns down the Christmas tree with all the presents underneath, hides the evidence and lies by saying that they were robbed which leads everyone in Springfield to give them a new tree and $15,000.
I thought that was mean. Especially taking advantage of the kindness of the townsfolk! I remember in real life watching the news at Christmastime and every so often there would be a story where a struggling parent had bought nice things for the kids only to have someone steal their presents!

you totally forgot about the time where Bart shook up a can of beer for an April fool's prank, and put Homer in the hospital from the explosion.
It doesn't get much worse than hospitalizing one of your own parents, which, granted isn't as bad as almost killing Martin Prince, but it is still pretty bad it's far as things Bart has done.
What about in My Sister My Sitter, where in an attempt to make Lisa look bad at babysitting, he goes to extraordinary lengths to make baby sitting hell for Lisa. Whether it was feeding Maggie ice cream with caffeine to make her hyperactive, finding any way to contradict Lisa's words or after he fell down the Stairs, injuring himself, he bangs his own already bruised head to "preserve the evidence". Honestly, he drives he almost to the point of a mental breakdown. It's one thing to have a sibling rivalry, but it's painful to watch Bart mentally torture Lisa like that
They forgot the April fools prank when he shakes the Duff beer and it explodes their house. Lol

To be fair, Bart DID later apologise sincerely to a comatose Homer (who promptly came out of his coma and began to strangle Bart, of course) and that there was no malice aforethought; Homer DID also instigate the prank war that led to the whole thing.
They forgot the time Bart hospitalized Homer by putting one of his beer in a paint shaker as an April Fool's prank gone wrong. The can exploded via Homer opening it, putting him into a short coma.

To be fair, Bart DID eventually realise that he had had gone too far by toying with the heart of someone lovesick and later made it so "Woody" (really just a picture of Gordy Howe) left Mrs. K in a heartfelt letter to her.
I remember the episode. Homer wanted Bart to confess to Mrs. Krabbappel what he'd done. Marge advises not to because she will be humiliated. So they composed a heartfelt farewell letter to make her feel better. Is she that dumb as to not realize that Bart used the name of one of our presidents? As for her not recognizing that picture was of Gordie Howe? That's understandable because she is not a hockey fan.
The WORST in my opinion Bart has done is ether:
When he pretended tobe a potential partner from a dating advert to toy with Edna Krabappel for giving Bart detention.
Or Bart and the class getting Edna Krabappel fired by spiking her coffee for taking away their phones.

The latter is also very off-character, as he does have a degree of respect and would NEVER get her fired.

When I was Bart’s age (10 years old) I was into pranks too but it was usually just whoopee cushions and other simple, harmless pranks...
I used to be mischievous like him when I was his age too. I mean, I didn't pull pranks but I did do things like skipping school, annoying my sister, accidentally wrecking things, played ding dong ditch and making some prank calls. Also I wasn't great with school back in the day. I realised I got in trouble a lot back then
I used to turn the light out in the toilet when someone was in it, that was the level I did at 10
I thought the April Fool's beer prank on Homer would've been number 1. Many more like destroying Willie's shed, making Krusty broke, abusing himself when Lisa's his babysitter, causing Milhouse and his girlfriend to break up
In that peanut allergy episode, it said Bart was allergic to Shrimp, but in the Frying Game he said he's eaten so much shrimp in the green room.
That episode caused me to hate The Simpsons

What about the time Bart exposed Lisa to her beach friends by showing them her yearbook, revealing that she's actually a bookworm, just because he got jealous of her? Yes, Lisa did want to reinvent herself and make friends, but Bart didn't understand that, and yes, she did use Bart's catchphrases just to look cool, but exposing your sister for who she really is just because of jealousy is just not cool. Though he did make amends with Lisa over the whole yearbook thing and that her beach friends like her for who she really is, I knew the damage was already done.

Summer of 4' 2" is one of my favorite episodes. It really expanded Lisa's character in ways that hadn't been done before. I also love the American Graffiti references.

Comparing to the other characters, I don't think most of the things Bart has done is as bad as characters like Stewie Griffin. And besides, most of these entries were accidents.

Well cut Bart some slack on the naked dare in The Simpsons Movie, at least. It wasn't his fault. Homer was the one who dared him and well he ( Bart ) was just man enough to go through with it. But the bad guy in the movie was basically Homer because as you know, HE was the one that put Spider pig / Harry Plopper's silo into the lake, isolated Springfield inside a dome and for those who haven't yet seen the film .... find out for yourselves.

A few other honorable mentions was caught shoplifting at the Try N Save, Threw Lisa's giant Tomato school project at Principal Skinner, flushed a cherry bomb down the school's toilet causing them to explode with Skinner's mom being in the girls bathroom and being sent flying, got Mrs. Krabappel fired after putting alcohol in her coffee causing her to get drunk, caused the break up of Milhouses and Samantha, shot a mother bird the list goes on, also on a side note they should do a Top 10 Worst Things That Happened to Bart Simpson.

Nah. In my opinion Bart is a good kid, but has a overachiever sister causing his parents to pay more attention to Lisa . Bart also sacrificed his job as a hall monitor to not get Lisa expelled.He also became a drummer boy and Lisa out of jealousy ruined it. Lisa ruined a bbq and tried to convince everyone their to turn vegan. But when Bart does something bad he feels remorse for it ,example Marge be not Proud. But when Bart and Lisa accidentally “murdered” Martin Prince, Bart felt regretful about it and tried to confess but Lisa tried to cover up the seemingly murder. Showing Bart as a good person inside and being sensitive while Lisa barely feels remorse for things that she did , example making Marge feel bad for eating a grape at the supermarket. She’s also a hypocrite when to everything she says sabotaging people are bad, but she sabotaged Alice for being better,smarter and a better sax player than her so she (Lisa Simpson) is a immoral butthead to anything, she made her father buy her a pony.Bart has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

I'll never get why most ppl were on Bart's side when they said, "Table is meant for food, not a centerpiece". I mean, would you be cool with someone destroying something and it took you forever to make? Besides, people bring things that aren't food to dinner tables(ex. newspapers, laptop, etc.).

Not bad picks, but a notable omission in my book is from "You Kent Always Say What You Want", when he sneaks into a dentist room where Skinner is under the effects of anesthesia, and then proceeds to insert a giant tooth and spray water all over into his mouth. It's really way past the level of prank.

It bothers me that it wasn't mentioned that the Australia thing was also an accident. He tried to leave the frog in customs. He didn't know about the law before hand and tried to follow it once he did. It wasn't his fault the frog escaped. And The Simpsons laughing at the Australians predicament afterwards was because the Australian government was being a bunch of a-holes to them before they left.

Besides, adults and authority figures were messed up too. That obviously explains Bart's bad behavior. Teachers weren't helpful (most infamous example was Bart's kindergarten teacher), cops were lazy (mostly Chief Wiggum), neglectful parents (particularly Homer), etc.

Bart's terrible things he did:
1. Putting his dad in a near coma as an All Fools Day prank.
2. Giving cigarettes to the family dog.
3. Burning Lisa's centerpiece on Thanksgiving Day. (Bart subsequently apologized.)
4. Tricking an Australian boy into taking a large long distance call.
5. Destroying the entire city with a huge sonic boom.
6. Decapitating the statue of Jebediah Springfield.
7. Cheated on an IQ test.
8. Destroyed the family's Christmas presents.
9. Cheated by playing a disc instead of actually playing the piano at a recital.
10. Created a phony wedding by taking all the gifts and leaving everyone
suffocated. (This led to Bart going to juvie hall.)
Honorable mention- Exposing Lisa and her new friends while vacationing in a seaport town. Bart brought his pal Milhouse
Van Houten for this family vacation.

Number 9 on this list was homer's fault not Bart's.

Homer dared Bart in the Number 9 so why is it on here, 8 should have been the tomato incident in that episode, 6 is a bit overblowed. Though the top 5 do make sense admittingly, but I don't count number 3 as Bart did feel remorse for it, pick another moment where he didn't do so and 1 Lisa was in on this too.

In that same episode where Bart gives the dog cigarettes, Bart also throws Lisa's giant tomatoe to Skinner's butt as he's bent over Tying his shoes. Lol one my favorite episodes of all times.
I also love the episode where Bart puts Homer in the hospital by causing a bear can to explode. Lol I love the Simpsons.
I think Bart Simpson is far better than Eric Cartman by a long shot, and none of his deeds are even half as bad as what Cartman did.
South Park is overrated. Nowhere close to The Simpsons at its prime.
Yeah, I can't stand South Park anymore. The show just makes far too many gratuitous references to modern pop culture when they can't come up with a decent story for an episode. The Simpsons may do that timely but they don't do it incessantly.

Bart: Hello I’m looking for a Hugh Jass (The joke is Moe will say Huge Ass)
Moe: Ok. Is there a Hugh Jass in here? I’m looking for a Hugh Jass.
Hugh: My name’s Hugh Jass. What would you like, sir?
Bart: Uh... This was meant to be a prank call

I feel like he's done much worse than some of these.
hospitalised homer, exposed lisa’s past to her new beach friends because he was jealous, catfished mrs krabapple for a laugh, burning the christmas presents and saying they got robbed, finds out homer won the lottery and blackmails him into buying him stuff, putting his walkie talkie down the well and pretending to be a trapped kid panicking the town, the babysitting episode where he messes about the whole time for lisa and bangs his head on the door causing her to panic and get in trouble, breaks grandpa’s teeth.... so many more should have been on the list

7) Lisa was wrong for putting her project on the dining table in the first place, so I blame her for that one!
i blame the adults they saw how much room it filled knowing a small kid was carrying one of the heaviest things that now had no room they should of arranged it before cooing over it
seriously! bart was holding a huge heavy turkey! what was he supposed to do with it? i blame his parents.
What? I always thought Bart tossed it in the fire on purpose. But the diorama could have easily been ruined on the dinner table
No. Bart was 100% wrong and showed zero remorse after it was tossed in the fire, the adults definitely should have intervened sooner but, the fault still falls on Bart for not only being callous but, for being a smart ass when he was sent to his room.
Lisa had every right to have her "center piece" in on the "center" of the dinner table, that's what it's for and besides the adults were all rather encouraging of her for doing so. There could have been more room to be cleared but, Bart was being selfish and impatient, causing Lisa and Bart to fight, thus "ruining" Thanksgiving for everyone.

As someone with a peanut allergy as severe as Skinner’s I am glad that Bart exposing Skinner’s peanut allergy made number 2 on this list. Anyone who does that has issues.
