The Cars were simply amazing. Every song they wrote was pure creativity. New sound that had never been and has never been matched. My band had the wonderful privilege of working with Greg in the studio. He produced a 4-song demo for us and spent countless hours in the studio to make sure we had a fantastic product to distribute. God bless Ben and Rick

I've been playing guitar since the 1970's....I've played thousands of gigs. (Rock, country, blues, acoustic, R&B..you name it) And I can tell you Elliot Easton is one of the most under rated guitarists out there. His playing is imaginative, fun, humorous, technical, well constructed....especially his guitar solos. Each one is like a song within a song.

Such a solid band. Even as a bunch of 70 year olds they sound great. So sad that Ben couldn't be there for their induction.

elliot's guitar lines here sound so great. and i love hearing greg and elliot singing for real and not faking like they used to make them with the background vocals

Somehow I just don't understand it just doesn't seem fair that it took more than 40 years for my favorite band to get into the hall of Fame . They are truly unique in there sound and no other band has made an impact in my life great memories and there music thank you so much. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to see them original band play 2 times. There will never be another band like the cars!

I think they should have played a video of ben singing on that big screen. Drive would of been perfect. It would have been a nice tribute, and a way to include him in the ceremony. Just my opinion, no one has to agree. 😊

    It’s hard watching them
Perform with the thoughts Ric will be going soon after this, and Paulina having fun, not knowing what lies ahead of her ... Ben should’ve been there too.

All of the lists of the top 100 guitarist of all time, they're missing a few who should be on the list, one is Elliot Easton, along with Neal Schon of Journey, Billy Squier, Steve Stevens of Billy Idol, Christopher Cross along with many others.
