Little Nitpicking pet peeve of mine: I find it very distracting when other auxiliary dance in the stands outside of the featured main danceline...visually it's kinda all over the place...I'm all for the other auxiliary getting their shine but maybe in a different seating arrangement

What happened??? How did it go from the Ocean showing FAMU love in their halftime show to blowing during FAMU halftime performance??? I listened to this with headphones, and that was the loudest I've heard the Ocean all year. 🤯
It was a lot going on in the stadium…presentations at the beginning so no zero quarter, TSU football team was on the opposite side of the field, a high school band to the far right, TSU was placed right beside the DJ…it’s giving FAMU is used to being the only band in the stadium. TSU left after the game b/c the stayed in AL (3-4 hours away).
I’m not a famu or a txsu Alumni but famu don’t excite me at all. Famu reminds me of the movie drum line when the music board wanted the director to play some fun music that can get the crowd going but famu is gonna only be fun to famu and they own. Since I’ve been in the band world nobody gave two shots about famu band.
In my opinion, the motion of ocean band sound very clear, the field show was intricate and I'm a fan however, the color guards are not that talented and needs to pull some copies out of Norfolk state color guard's because they seem to be more structure as to what a color guard responsibility is. The color guards lacking precising to what the band is playing, they are trying imitate oh so lightly but not too slightly to the motion dancer as I saw in the stands. Each section to me; should have their own uniqueness an that's what make up a band also, the drum majors needs to be reimagine because, the three they have now are just meh.

One time for little SU. Balance the sound out a bit and y’all will sound better. Sounded ok on the field kind of… but the over blowing distorts the notes which is why there isn’t much musicality in the arrangements. Kudos to the arrangers tho because I can hear how they’ve figured out how to write using the half notes and short phrasing to create some interesting pieces.
