Great video as usual!! I think I will give Spectre a shot just to play around. I have a couple of Orange Pi's now, so I only use them for mining and use the rasppi for earnapp, honeygain, etc.... and surfing the web. I use them in my garage where I play/work at, so it is a setup that works for me. With the Rasp pi not mining, I can watch videos that are relevant to what I am working on in my garage.
Thanks Chuckles! Mining on the Orange Pi's and surfing/earning on the RPI sounds like the best combination ;). Spectre is quite interesting. The coming weeks I will also try to setup a Spectre node on a RPI so I can solo mine against it.
I always look at the future potential. The Verus halving is coming in januari 2025 so that can give a boost to the value of Verus. And there are also all kind of things happening around Verus thanks to the great community. So I'm still mining Verus. Spectre on the other hand just started and has a huge upwards potential if you look at the tokenomics. Maybe it is not profitable today, but it can give you huge returns in the future ;). So some of my Pi's are mining Spectre. But always do your own research.
@@MLS.22 The Spectre Network has a maximum coin supply. 50% of all the coins are mined in the first 24 months. Every month the reward decreases. So if you are one of the first miners you get the highest reward for your effort. Of course, there is no guarantee that the coin will become more valuable over time. But in any case, fewer and fewer will be created. It's basically the same as Bitcoin halvings, but more gradual.
According to my experience, tw pool is the worst. Payouts were really hectic. Crispin is fine, but there drop offs happen ( miner shows hasrate but temperatures are low, and missing on pool side to ) acc is the best, eu server is bad, but ru is fine. Thanks for the video! I really need to buy one 🍊
Bloxypie can u also install the node on the orange pi whilst running this miner? I looking to akso install an emmc 64gb and an sd card, im about to order everything soon. Also im ordering the 8gb ram version, i know u have the 4gb but is more ram better ? Thanks
I believe it is possible but I didn't try it myself. I don't think more ram is better for Verus and Spectre. But if you want to mine other coins with XMRIG more ram can help. Also if you want to do other projects with your Orange Pi in the future more ram can be helpfull ;)
I love this video thanks
