These bikes will run forever keep the oil&filter change.plus change the coolant once a year keep that will keep the radiator and water pump In good shape I have a 98 honda vt1100 aero same motor and mine runs excellent,I had a 05 harley dyna glide and my honda is smoother and doesn't burn your leg at stop lights
