I’ve been going to Barbados for decades. The beaches are beautiful but it’s the citizens of BGI that keep me coming back. Of all my travels in the world I have said the people of Barbados are the most genuine,kind and friendly. Fascinating history,excellent restaurants and great local music. Abundance of accommodations available for every budget. ❤

This is a well done video! It really shows off the beauty of Barbados. However, you called Paynes Bay the East coast when in fact it is the West Coast of the island.
Can you find a nice hotel close to both amenities and to Browne's Beach and Carlisle Bay, especially as an introductory visit for older visitors (not cruise ship passengers).
Yes we passed by, but it’s more the beach at the big resorts right? I also don’t really fancy the beaches with the beds and the umbrella’s.. but it looked nice though.. 😁 I think Paynes Bay or Bottom Bay where we were all alone is best. Cheers from the family!
We stayed at the Crane Resort when we went in October of last year. So beautiful, and the Bajan people were absolutely amazing. I had a fabulous 8 days there.
@@WoutoftheWorld Oh so glad someone else thinks like me. I have been going to Barbados since a child, and have seen lots and lots of changes. One thing I do not like are the beach chairs and umbrellas, they absolutely spoil the look of the beaches. I can take towels on the beach, that's acceptable. It makes me laugh when the tourist board advertises the beaches, they show a empty beach that is beautiful to see but the reality is plastic chairs.
Bet u have never been to st Lucia ! Home of the famous twin peaks or pitons, numerous waterfalls and beaches, world's only drive-in volcano, that's st Lucia
haha yes we have been. St Lucia is gorgeous! But Barbados has a really relaxed vibe. Although we do love many different Caribbean islands. We have seen most of them! Hope you like to watch them all! ❤️

You mean expelled? Because if it’s extended you can’t fly right? I had to do different courses to get a permit here in Europe (in 2021) and on the exam one one of the questions was which countries had a complete drone ban. Barbados was one of them 😅 don’t know if it’s changed.

Crane beach is a favorite beach the sand is pink.

Why couldn't you drone in Barbados? I thought they extended the ban in 2020....

Drone use is generally prohibited in Barbados but it is possible to obtain a permit and get permission to fly a drone.
