Hi. Great channel. Big fan of your videos. I'm looking for a hard drive build up with retro games. Two games I'm looking for are T2 shooting game and WCW Revenage (I'm a wrestling fan too). I saw this video and it has it. From your experience, which build out there has both games? Also, is Blackview mini PC a choice to use for retro games (N64, PS2, Gamecube, DC, etc)? Looking for a PC on a budget. Keep making those awesome videos. Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words. Not familiar with that mini pc but you don't need anything crazy for specs on a mini pc for n64 and classic arcade games. This would have the t2 snes and genesis versions but definitely not mame (arcade). It's hard to say which drives would have both because the game drives don't really last long on any markets. They seem to disappear after a few months so you have to get them when they first come out. Honestly you could add mame onto a build pretty easy but if you looked for something that has both collections setup then that would be your best bet because from there you could add either rom to it yourself and it would probably take all of about 5 minutes to do if the collections are setup on a drive already.
Why would you pay anything at all for a product that's being sold illegally when you could just download whatever you want directly for free? Literally, everything on this drive is stolen code and property. The people who coded the emulators distribute them for free, because newer stuff requires users to dump personal info from their *purchased* device in order for it to work. Distributing those files whether free or by charge is illegal. And if you wouldn't download copyright games, why would you buy them off somebody else who did? How do you think they got all this stuff? lol smh The one piece of content on this drive that looks somewhat original is the file manager. But, based on everything else being stolen, I'm betting that is too. 💀

Absolutely and yes like he said it's still going to have limitations with what you can add. For example say you wipe out half of snes and genesis....that's not freeing up much space at all because one old collection of hundreds of games can be the same size as one ps3 title.
My question is how legit are these companies, and I would hope they are paying royalties. A lot of this stuff has been removed from third party distributions for copyright violations, and is flagged in search engines as well. And that's just game titles. Then there's the issue of emulations that require a BIOS and can't be emulated directly, like all Playstation content. The only *legal* way to emulate is dumping your own game files and hardware information. On top of that, they are charging people to run emulators that are FREE to the public. lmao.. I mean there is a lot of IP theft and bootlegging here.. wtaf. Leaving major thumb down. Next time just make a video teaching people how to do this for free. Christ mate..encouraging people to buy stolen goods. Seems more like you're plugging a commercial for them than reviewing the product. lol
A major thumbs down....where's that button haha. Not encouraging anybody to buy anything but whether I review it or not people are buying it so I'd recommend taking aim at the sellers if it doesn't sit well with you. I'm a content creator not a seller. I have no issue with your take on this but how many people are creating their game files from physical copies of games that they bought themselves? The key for that number is sitting right above the O and P on the keyboard.
It's not a question of how many people are doing it legally. Obviously people will obtain illegal software, because people will teach them how to rip it or direct them to ways they can share it free of charge if they seek those answers. The diference between that and this is they aren't charging people for it or even remotely suggesting whether illegal goods are "a good deal" or not. It's all distributed as freeware, none of which is advertised. People who find it do so because they went out of their way to, and are well aware of the consequences, as those sites have disclaimers plastered all over them. And plenty of people teach others how to build these yourself without trigger words and keep their channels up. My point was, why not be one of *those* people instead of discussing what is technically considered a blackmarket item? lol I'm not trying to judge you for how you run your channel; just do not understand the thought process of promoting distributors who steal publisher profits with this garbage. Regardless of what people will or won't do, and what your intention was or wasn't, this is a promotion. The way I see it (and the entire world during early era p2p), borrowing games from a community of fellow gamers and mutual friends is no different than borrowing a neighbor or friend's cartridge or disc. I wouldn't expect to be hauled off to jail for doing that, so I wouldn't think playing one of somebody else's copies off the web or locally should warrant that either - as long as nobody infringed on the publisher's profits. Heck, some platforms even have limited free game sharing that often gets abused to share with individuals not covered under the TOS. But, in the grand scheme of things, ripped copies leave players at a disadvantage in modern games - with many of them being online and restricted to offline accessibility only. This will eventually lead to more sales, if anything, provided the borrowed games have replay value. Ya know, once upon a time, game demos were easily accessible and many retail outlets had kiosks people could try games. But those things seem like all but ancient history and big corps turn to over hype, and over monetizing their under delivered products. So, if people want to borrow games, I'm no judge or jury. But profiting off of a ripped publisher's licensed product is not ok, and it's definitely not ok to charge people for freeware emulators as part of your package either.@@OfficialChaseBrogan
