These conventions actually make me respect Marina Sirtis’s acting ability a TON more. She is nothing at all like the sweet Counselor Troi in real life.
Her Troi voice is much more pleasing though (although admittedly all over the place from somewhat Eastern European to somewhat English). In real life she's got the worst accent I've ever heard. So hard to listen to. She sounds very much like the worst of the common cockney accents, mixed with the worst "Americanised Brit who's been living in LA for too long". Painful!
@Werewolf O. London, Esq. Because to me it sounds awful. I love a cockney accent, don't get me wrong. I'm not adverse to a Californian accent, they can be very pleasant. But whatever rare blend of those vocal ingredients she has mixed together - the end result is agony for my ears.
@Werewolf O. London, Esq. Yes I definitely picked up on that. To me it is just a very unpleasant combination, although it's fine if you disagree. Nothing against her as a person at all.
Dorn's point about changing the atmosphere on DS9 with his focus on a humorous outlook is also reflected in the improvement in the quality of the show because after the introduction of Worf's character - the quality of each show got better and better. It was the feeling of "family" and strong friendship that permeated deeper and deeper into every episode - even with characters such as Garak. It gradually transformed the show from great literature into a fantastic fan experience.
In 1994 I was lucky enough to have been invited several times to the close set at Paramount to watch them film Star Trek. I sat in the captain’s chair and on the transporter pod. Hard to believe that was 25 years ago. 6-29-20
I'm pretty sure that Jonathan Frakes heard that there won't be any chairs, only sofas and he changed his mind. He was like "What?? You cannot do a Riker maneuver on a sofa!!??!! Pfff...Amateurs!!"
you know, i am 30 mins into the panel and am now reading comments. i had no idea that he was missing lol and i just finished watching every single episode on netflix 2 days ago. then i watched all 4 movies. i still did not notice his absence.
Michael Dorn is now as uniquely iconic and recognized as Leonard Nimoy was from The Original Series. You cannot look at any Vulcan in a Star Trek episode without comparing them to Spock, and the same is true with Klingons thanks to Worf...
Ok. I know that I'm super late to the party on this one, but, Picard Season 3 is coming out soon, so I felt the need to familiarize myself with these people again. The Marina take-over was rough.... they should have had an emcee. I think I can say this, because I'm a mother and a theatre director, it wasn't the right venue to bring a baby. Some of the questions from fans were sketchy. I always love SPS, and I would've loved to have heard from Burton more (huge Reading Rainbow fan here). My favorite part of this whole thing...was watching Gates McFadden try to keep her shit together when things went a bit too far with Sirtis. A few times, it looked like Spiner was trying to talk her off the ledge. She kept it classy, though. As far as the comments on here calling it a "cat fight" between the two, or, suggesting that the two actresses dislike each other...NAH. It was a disagreement. Women are allowed to have disagreements without being required to hate each other afterward. They probably hugged it out afterward, and went of more margaritas.
My earliest memory is from when I was 3 years old and my mom sat me down to watch the series premier of Star Trek: TNG. I remember it perfectly, I was beyond in love with it and still watch it to this day.
I can't believe they almost have the entire crew from the Enterprise... all they needed was Number One. Also I love how Marina Sirtis gets on everybody's nerves at these panels.
@@michaelunderhill8847 Did you notice the pit bull comment where everyone was saying pit bulls were good dogs, and the person said "except when they kill people?"
Brent Spiner is such a class act - can be funny, intelligent, careful as he is with the person who had difficulty speaking and knows who to diffuse a really awkward end to panel with Marina and Gates by just interjecting and changing the subject.
With a moderator Marina would have been more likely to escalate, but having Brent interject deescalated, because he is someone she respects, due to their long acquaintance & working history.
I wonder did Marina & Gates actually get on over the years or did Marina just piss her off with her comments, was she drunk or is she always like that?. Brent is a pro, a pure pro, I would love to see him return in the Tarantino Star Trek if that actually goes ahead.
I think Brent Spiner was right, acting is a profession, and that is the least you can, and at times the most. Gates McFadden seems to be more on the side of the art over profession of the argument, whereas Marina Sirtis is more on the side that it's first and foremost a profession, it's not about the glamour, it's about doing a job.
True TNG fans remember, every episode, every scene. WE LOVE YOU. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE in people's lives. DON'T EVER DOUBT THAT. Thank you Gene, Majel, Rick, and ALL OF YOU.
The greatest thing is how Denise is there, who was only a short time member of the show but was such a great character and so loved by everyone that even gone she is still considered as part of the main cast, always even more so than some of the other cast members who were on the show more episodes/seasons.
@@jeremyb5198 Ridiculous comment. You may not have liked his character, but Wil Wheaton was on the show almost three times longer than Denise Crosby. He should have been there, along with Jonathan Frakes.

So during Gates vs Marina, 1:21:26. Brent looking at Patrick. “Here they go...” 1:21:59 Brent to Levar “I’m gonna stop this.” Levar: “Go Brent/go for it.” 😎
I can see where Gates would be offended by Marina's high judgment of American actors. I understand what Marina is trying to say -- that *some* Americans are only interested in acting to be famous and not for the craft, which is very wrong -- but Marina turned it into British vs US acting and came across arrogantly slamming aspiring actors in America. Gates wasn't having it. Good for you, Gates.
The ending was very important and TRUE. While, I too, love the cast of ST TNG, we have to remember as fans, how we see the show and perceive the actors/characters is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than how the actors perceive it. They never did the show thinking they wanted to express a message about humanity or the future. They were just actors who wanted a job and got the part for a paycheck! The reality is that Patrick Stewart is not Jean Luc Picard and Brent Spiner is not Data, etc. The characters themselves exist separately from the actual actors and many fans who go to these conventions think they are actually meeting Captain Picard and want to ask Picard all kinds of questions about all kinds of episodes as if they think they are going to get real factual response from the characters themselves. In the end, they are just actors who played a role that was scripted for them. They added to it, they made it come alive, but THEY ARE NOT the characters. So please love them and respect for simply being actors, but don't make them into the characters they portrayed and expect to meet your childhood characters....they are not REAL, they do not EXIST (what they represent, however, is real). In the end, the portrayal of ST TNG is actually all of us (the human race, the human condition). We are all Picards, Datas, Rikers etc. We are actually just having a dialogue with ourselves but being able to put a face to the characters (the actors).
I saw an interview with Brent Spiner. He was asked what is the weirdest / dumbest question you ever got? Someone actually believed that they could be beamed from one place to another. And someone believed he was actually an android.
@@j.t.5826 100% true. We know this because ever since the internet and reality shows came out, we now realize that everyone literally could be a star (doesn't mean everyone will be talented or skilled at it) but you could put anyone on tv 24/7 about nothing and they'd literally become famous just for having 'exposure'. We see this now everywhere on RUclips, Tiktok, social media....we are all very much more similar than different. But it is still hard to separate the person and their fame. I sometimes still feel like they I'd bow to them out of some kind of reverence like they are a higher being for being cloaked in fame so that still affects me, but I remind myself, they are actually just like you and me. We are all famous or we are all just dirty flawed human beings.
oh, the last 15/20 minutes was really hard to watch. Marina is fantastic, but I think she would be much better on her own, or with someone like Frakes who can handle her exuberance. I don't think this was the right forum for her to proselytize her thoughts, and it was really clear to see how awkward she made some people feel. Especially the American actor thing. I don't think she meant it exactly as it came out, but I would have a hard time not taking it personally if it were me up there too. Gates had clearly reached braking point at the end, and I don't think she did anything wrong, if it had been any other situation someone probably would have told Marina to slow down a little, but being on stage Infront of hundreds and hundreds of people and alongside colleagues to boot, makes it almost impossible to call someone out without sounding like a dick. Patrick Stewart did a fantastic job at being Captain at the end, very diplomatically soothing things out regarding Marinas speech, letting Gates know she wasn't wrong, and explaining to the audience that, regardless of how their characters are perceived, and even apologising on Marinas behalf - these actors are human like the rest of them and have exactly the same flaws as everyone else, but very different experiences. It was probably good he ended the panel there too before Marina responded, because she definitely would have, and she would have doubled down too; again, I really do not think she was going out her way to sound arrogant or be nasty, but that's the way it came out. It did not help that she tried to interject every time someone paused for breath, or answered other people's questions repeatedly. And that whole racist joke thing... jeez that was really really awkward. I like Marina, but that was so hard to watch.
Fun fact John De Lancie actually hates his fans and only likes being a part of the Trek community for the money. This is well recorded, you can google it. So I’m actually kind of glad he didn’t get to speak as much.
@@Alirosa937 we dont have to google it, you as the one who makes a claim have to provide the "evidence". i dont even say i agree or disagree with whatever your claim is. i am just saying "you can google it" is just not good enough in my opinion. the burden of proof rests on the shoulder of the one making the claim. not on the others.
Loved watching the slow boil of Gates McFadden until she finally had enough of Marina and took her on. Watch Gates, you can tell 95% of the things Marina says she either doesn't agree with or is not amused. She hardly ever claps at anything Marina says. I used to think Gates was chilly, until I met her. She's great, but she got major points when she stepped up and put Marina in her place.
When I say she put Marina in her place, I say that because when Marina tried to steamroll her and interrupted Gates to try and cover her own ass, Gates did not relent. Gates didn't back down and refused to let Marina cut her off with Marina's half-assed excuses for why she said what she said.
Marina didn't agree, she back-tracked when Gates called her out for her BS. The fact that Marina flat out suggested that all the aspiring actors in the US just want to be famous and care nothing for the craft is simply untrue. Sure, there are those who want fame. That's the result of crappy "reality" tv. But for her to suggest that it's different in the UK suggests that British actors actually go into it for the craft while US actors go into acting for the fame is wrong and insulting. That's why Gates snapped. Gates teaches, she has classes and students who are studying the craft. She knows those students do it for the love of the craft, not just because they want to be on TMZ. Watch the cast and how they react when Marina gets on a tear. None of them really engage with her. They've known her for decades, worked with her for 8 years, as well as numerous feature films. None of them looked the least bit surprised when Gates finally snapped. Notice they also didn't get into it with Gates and Marina either. There was that awkward tension in the air when you saw the rest of the cast sitting there with a "Oh boy" feeling going around. Marina is bullish and steamrolls anyone who she disagrees with her. Marina is like that EVERYWHERE she goes. I've seen her face to face multiple times at conventions and she has this air of knowing better than everyone. All you have to do is check out a number of videos where she's a part of a panel and there are countless comments from fans noting that she's an attention hog. "There goes Marina again, not giving anyone a chance to speak, why won't she shut up and sit down for once?" Marina says things to get reactions. She's irreverent and crass. Some people like that. She makes me laugh from time to time and I don't mind her so much. Especially since I know what to expect from her. That said, she is tiring and predictable. The point is, some people like Marina, other's don't. She's taken the laughter and groans as a sign for her to keep speaking and acting over the top. Even if calling Stewart "old baldy" is something Stewart is used to with her, Marina doing it in front of fans isn't polite. It's been a minute since I watched this particular video so I can't remember if it happened in this one. But I did watch a video where she called Stewart "old baldy" and the audience gasped. To which she sneered at them and chided them for reacting like that. Not to mention Marina referring to DS9 as "Deep Throat 9" or "Deep Sleep 9." That may be funny to people who hated that show (I was one of them, I couldn't stand DS9). But it's not something fans of DS9 appreciate. Marina has no filter and possesses no desire to communicate in any other way than brash, crude, crass and manic. She literally plays the opposite of Troi. Troi who is quiet, considerate, watchful of those speaking and chooses her phrases carefully. Troi cares how she comes across and how she makes other people feel. Which is logical since she CAN feel their emotions. Don't get me wrong, obviously Troi is a fictional character but it's a perfect example of an actor playing their "opposite" very well. It's not a big stretch to say that Marina is the complete opposite of Deanna Troi. It's not uncommon for actors to play their opposite well. Lisa Kudrow is a fantastic example of a brainiac who was perfect at playing an airhead "Phoebe" from "Friends." There are very boring and unpleasant actors in daily life who play exciting, happy characters like it's no act. Calm, quiet introverts who play manic characters flawlessly. I digress. Marina was being a C U Next Tuesday and Gates finally had enough. Good for Gates. It was nice finally seeing someone not back down from a verbal confrontation with Marina.
I love Gates. She is just as gutsy as Beverly! And Beverly is like my idol. Beverly never backed down from a confrontation, even with the Captain. And i dont see Gates backing down when Marina is acting like an idiot. I have to say Gates did seem irritated the whole time, but Marina was being loud and obnoxious the whole time, so it makes sense. The other people on the show were just as important or more important than her. I would say Picard Crusher and Data are the best characters on the whole show.
So many television shows, you hear about the stars fighting or having issues amongst themselves or hating each other. These guys evolved into a true family. Ups and downs do occur, but you can see that true bond of love and respect among them.
@petulant what I read was more that they tried to get Gates McFadden to come back because she was unfairly let go. This was inevitably at the expensive of Diana Muldaur, but I didn't know they had attacked her, I thought it was more a positive campaign toward Gates. Did you get this info from somewhere that I could read myself? I'd be curious to see it for myself (maybe a forum?). Thanks
@petulant Diana Muldaur speaks very fondly of Brent Spiner here at the 20:18 mark: interviews.televisionacademy.com/interviews/diana-muldaur?clip=38533#highlight-clips. That doesn't fit with your characterization that he backstabbed her.
@petulant You have provided not one single shred of evidence that Spiner did any backstabbing. Heck, you have provided not one shred of *hearsay* that Spiner did any backstabbing (not one citation where any actor, any write or producer, or even any fan, suggests that Spiner did a single thing wrong to Diana). Ok, so Diana felt like she was backstabbed by *some* unnamed cast members; I'm willing to at least entertain that notion. But how do you jump from there to conclude that Spiner, specifically, did anything untoward? You provided one link, in which Spiner is mentioned not one single time. It sounds like you're slandering Spiner for absolutely no reason, and certainly without any evidence (at least, none that you have provided). You called him a 'backstabbing cocksucker', yet your entire case rests, at best, on an invalid syllogism: "Diana was treated badly by *some* cast members. Brent Spiner is a cast member. Therefore, Brent Spiner treated Diana badly." Do you see the logical fallacy?
@petulant there is evidence that Muldaur may have been treated badly by some cast members; I don't deny that. But once again there is zero, I mean zero evidence of Brent Spiner's implication. Yet you continue to slander him. If you show me actual evidence I'm willing to entertain your accusations but until then it's just slander. Surely you can understand that I won't just take your word for it without evidence?
I am glad they allowed the actors to develop their characters, because I was so disappointed in the first year when Worf was basically there to growl a lot and to get beat up by the bad guys to prove that they were tough. He was such a bad character that first year, and became one of he best.
This is legitimately the first time I've ever heard Marina's London accent. All I can imagine now is Deanna getting pissed off with a crew member and that accent breaking out with attitude. xD
This by far the BEST Star Trek panel I have seen so far!!!! No moderator, just the cast. Only thing missing was Jonathan Frakes. Marina Sirtis is something else :)
This is glorious. So many smart people. Marina is hilarious. They have all contributed joy, wisdom, sadness and wonder to millions. Thanks to them all and Jonathan for your service.
This reminds me that this is the part of the industry of entertainment that I really miss. After the work is done, when we get together with each other and sometimes with fans to just jaw. Loved it to the moon and back. This cast was such a magnificent ensemble. Bravo / Brava to them all.
When I was 10, I watched Neil Armstrong step on the moon. I was hooked, any space show good or bad I loved it. I have seen every episode countless times. At the start of each rerun, I get all excited thinking OMG, I haven't seen this one. Thanks to the cast for entertaining us. Thanks to Gene, producers and directors. Could you imagine our world if all people followed the prime directive. When I'm on my deathbed, hopefully surrounded by my family, my last words. "One to beam up!"
I love Marina's character on Star Trek but she comes across as domineering and a bit obnoxious here. It's a panel for goodness sake but she seems to talk over others to make it Marina Comedy Hour. Let others share the stage Marina.
I was only ever at one ST convention. The format was that each guest spoke for a few minutes in a solo spot and then took questions for 20 minutes of so. The problem with this group format is that one person might dominate - which was the case here,
I think she actually helped as the other cast members are quite shy so maybe she was an asset as there was no moderator so someone had to help out I guess. I mean I might be wrong but maybe she was just filling in the gaps/silences but who knows maybe the cast would have spoke more had Marina not been there or so dominating but it may also have been lesser had she not been there. We will never know but that is the group dynamic. I think they all had the opportunity to join in or share more and if they didn't then that's on them not Marina (although I do get how she seemed a bit I dunno drunk maybe lol but I found it kinda fun anyways) :-)
I agree, she seems to like the sound of her voice. And the others seem to give off a vibe of not being happy with her. I really wanted to hear more from Patrick Stewart, myself. I'm hearing her more than anyone up there. BTW... Did anyone notice when that lady brought up that picture.. Michael dorn was looking at it. She was reaching over to try and take it to look at it, when he jerked it back and handed it back to the lady. That speaks volumes right there!
near the begining the way the whole panel focuses their complete attention on one of the disabled peoples questions is a sign of how much they really wanted to ensure they treat everyone as they themselves want to be treated ... a fine display of compassion from all of them ... and of course Gates looks awesome .. only trouble with her .... she aint single ;)
She played a zombie she's a real person now it's great! I think it would have been better she played Counselor Troi with a bit more personality like Marina has now! Less Zombie, it's hard now watching the reruns with how bland the character was played knowing how fun loving Marina is!
Well guys I hate to be picky, but that would be Deanna TROI. Big fans of TNG are we? 😉 j/k. I am sheltering in place and am binge watching TOS and continuing with all the other Star Trek series. (Except the two currently on CBS All Access) cheers!

at the end when john de lancie talked about opportunity I immediately thought about the ninth rule of acquisition "Opportunity plus instinct equals profit." whats wrong with me
People have said that's just how she is, but you can tell by the expressions of the cast members that even they realize that's not the Marina they know normally. They keep looking at each other (especially in the beginning) like they can't believe she's acting the way she is. I wouldn't say she's drunk, but definitely tipsy, and she's one of those people who gets really talky talky and annoying when she drinks.
I'm pretty sure other breeds have killed kids ...not just pitbulls. Also, when that happens, how is it not attributed to the negligence of people rather than the instinct of the dog?
Maina Sirtis is the kind of woman that you think you're gonna hate, but turns out to be this ball of sarcasm, fun, and vivacity. Denise Crosby looks so adorable and pretty.
Wow, was enjoying some Star Trek videos on RUclips and came across this. Brent Spiner and Patrick Stewart really bailed out Marina Sirtis at the end. I like her sarcasm but saying stupid things like "American actors just want to be rich and British actors don't" is incredibly insulting. And I was glad to see Gates McFadden call her out for it. I'm guessing you won't see a panel with all these folks together ever again.
Marina is bitter egotistic bitch she's just jealous she doesn't get enough roles. She's just cheap lousy actress with no talent and a bitch whore at best.
At least from what I understood/heard, she seemed to be saying that there's _more_ people in USA who do acting for fame/fortune, and not so many do so in the UK for the same reasons. It does seem to somewhat make sense considering how the US hosts the Hollywood industry, and has a somewhat different culture. She just said it in a somewhat incorrect/misleading way (such as the "I don't know of any English person who did it for money")
I was roughly 7 when this came out. It was on Sunday nights past my bedtime but my mother would allow me to stay up just to watch it with her. I'll cherish those memories more than I can begin to describe. Also, Marina lolol my god...she has no filter irl lol. 176 episodes at a time when the best series weren't pulling 100.
Regarding question of how do we achieve roddenberry's vision from where we are today. One should remember that Roddenberry foresaw Khan Noonien Singh as the product of the intervening generations. If you see Gene as a futurist predicting what is to come, he predicted things would get their bit worse before they got better.
Marina and her South London accent, so cheeky! I love it, can't get enough of her. Patrick: "I just had a brain scan 2 days ago." Marina: "Did they find it?" Lmfao

Painful!
You should see her in Star Gate SG1
@Werewolf O. London, Esq. Because to me it sounds awful. I love a cockney accent, don't get me wrong. I'm not adverse to a Californian accent, they can be very pleasant. But whatever rare blend of those vocal ingredients she has mixed together - the end result is agony for my ears.
@Werewolf O. London, Esq. Yes I definitely picked up on that. To me it is just a very unpleasant combination, although it's fine if you disagree. Nothing against her as a person at all.
@@wsconsn Could you pls send me number od that episode? I really dont remember to see her there. Im courious.

What the hell?! Brent Spiner is 68 YEARS OLD!! He has aged better than I expected. Data, indeed.

Brent Spiner is such a class act - can be funny, intelligent, careful as he is with the person who had difficulty speaking and knows who to diffuse a really awkward end to panel with Marina and Gates by just interjecting and changing the subject.
Somebody had to step in there. It was getting a little heated there. Normal I suppose, but perhaps a moderator wouldn't have been such a bad thing?
Sirtis is really irritating and grating. Frakes should have been there, though. Poor showing from him.
Agreed. I respect the way Brent stepped in like that. He is such a gentleman (and very good-looking, too ^.^).
They are really caring people to give everyone in the audience time and able to entertain them all.
Lots of respect to all of them.

I can see where Gates would be offended by Marina's high judgment of American actors. I understand what Marina is trying to say -- that *some* Americans are only interested in acting to be famous and not for the craft, which is very wrong -- but Marina turned it into British vs US acting and came across arrogantly slamming aspiring actors in America. these people was my childhood i love them for all the joy they brought to me
The ending was very important and TRUE.
I sometimes still feel like they I'd bow to them out of some kind of reverence like they are a higher being for being cloaked in fame so that still affects me, but I remind myself, they are actually just like you and me. oh, the last 15/20 minutes was really hard to watch.

Levar Burton and Michael Dorn. I'd have loved to have heard more from them.
I wouldn't say she "put her in her place," but rather she strongly disagreed and expressed that disagreement.
"There goes Marina again, not giving anyone a chance to speak, why won't she shut up and sit down for once?"
Marina says things to get reactions.
I would say Picard Crusher and Data are the best characters on the whole show.
red head temper lol. which parties this?
So many television shows, you hear about the stars fighting or having issues amongst themselves or hating each other. These guys evolved into a true family. Ups and downs do occur, but you can see that true bond of love and respect among them.
Brent Spiner is such a legend.
@petulant can you explain? you're just asking us to take your word? do you have examples?

Compensating for being the most pointless character on the show I suppose.
It's telling that two Ferengi cosplayers have to "help" her to her chair at the beginning. Overservice, maybe.

Another LA lefty loon. It would be nice if just once, politics or the President were never mentioned as it is always negative. You never get another view.
Star Trek The next generation ft Marina Spirtis
Patrick Stewart looks like he's thinking "I'm too old for this shit" the entire time.
Lol
And he proceeds to film a new series, Star Trek - Picard.
at the end when john de lancie talked about opportunity I immediately thought about the ninth rule of acquisition "Opportunity plus instinct equals profit." whats wrong with me
You're a ferengi
@@archangeljmj6008 Or an American.
I suspect Marina enjoyed the casino’s offer of complementary beverages shortly before heading to the stage.
Lance Ehlers -
:p
The mouth to mouth kisses were the best actor's introduction move I've ever saw
Patrick , What courage
I legitimately think Marin Sirtis was drunk during this lol. Or at least, slightly tipsy.
no, she's just like that
SWEET! Better than her empathically reading our minds!
Get it!
Nah, thats just Marina. Thats why shes awesome.
29:00 you can hear someone say "except when they kill kids" talking about the pitbulls
Andrew Mckenzie true dat
Yeah, I heard that too. Sadly. Proof that you don't have to be smart to be a Star Trek fan.
Pissed me off
I'm pretty sure other breeds have killed kids ...not just pitbulls. Also, when that happens, how is it not attributed to the negligence of people rather than the instinct of the dog?
@@cwbellor a colleague once told me that Labradors have killed more kids than pitbulls, its just not in the media as much as it is with the pits
If Marina Sirtis were on the show Survivor, she would be the first to go.
YES!!!
But she'd be thed best to watch
Maina Sirtis is the kind of woman that you think you're gonna hate, but turns out to be this ball of sarcasm, fun, and vivacity. Denise Crosby looks so adorable and pretty.
Pretty is all that can be said, you don't get much personality out of 4 words.
Ugh, Marina really ruins this. I can't even finish it. I'd love to see a panel with all the rest of them. Add in Frakes and take her out.
maybe that's why he didn't show up? lol
Chris Beer
Yes you will. They do it relatively often actually.
So good to see this cast together.
Q has not aged at all! He looks phenomenal
I love that Levar/Michael wig story around 54:00 !! hilarious.
Regarding question of how do we achieve roddenberry's vision from where we are today.
One should remember that Roddenberry foresaw Khan Noonien Singh as the product of the intervening generations. If you see Gene as a futurist predicting what is to come, he predicted things would get their bit worse before they got better.
i cant help myself but this panel would be a lot cooler without Marina Sirtis
Either she was drunk or she had way too much caffeine that day 😅
But honestly though, I think she always has been very outspoken and loud.
I really want to have my memory erased so i can watch the show for the first time again
I could listen to them all day and night! They are Wonderful!
I love the show, i love the cast, and i CANT STAND the fanbase
The books are pretty good too.
Marina and her South London accent, so cheeky! I love it, can't get enough of her.
Patrick: "I just had a brain scan 2 days ago."
Marina: "Did they find it?"
Lmfao
LaGuerre19 Not South London. She was born in Hackney and brought up in Harringay.
What a great punchline!
Marina was on the verge of being caustic... Wow I was quite surprised of her demeaner....
@29:03 The guy saying 'except when they kill kids' That really would have changed the vibe had someone heard it.
51:03 Probably the funniest bit: DeLancie talks about taking his judge robes from the set as a memoir, with a twist 😂
You can tell the ones who need these conventions and the ones who were dragged kicking and screaming.
I absolutely loved Q growing up. At one point i wrote a style of fan fiction and wrote john de lancie into the world i created. I made him married to kate mulgrew haha (i guess i liked their chemistry on stvoy i dunno). That little family played a small role in my story but watching this makes me want to go back an re-read his little section. What a nice voice, just brings me back to a childhood comfort zone
I have met 3 of them ❤ but Michael I have to say was the funniest meeting because when I met him, he happened to be drinking a smoothie. Yes this is relevant! Well I was SO exited because he was the FIRST memeber i had ever met, let alone that I LOVED Worf so I could not contain myself! So I accually went skipping the few feet to him! Full on jumping. Well he saw my enterence, and choked! His hand flew to his mouth and set down his smoothie. I am still smileing ear to ear while he is laughing at me, trying not to spit out his smoothie! 😂 he finally turns to me, trying to catch his breath, and says "Honey, don't do that, im old!" 😂😂😂 it was halariose! And of course I got a selfie with him and he held me by the shoulder and his cheek was pressed to my cheek!!!! It was such a personal moment and I will never forget it!!! (My dad was so jelouse) lol
