Kackie, I remember seeing that Violette_Fr. either has already released a fragrance, or will shortly. I remember her mentioning that is was going to be a perfume oil. I'm not sure if it's the same fragrance as the blush, but you might like it regardless, since hypothetically the same person is behind them.
She released it last year, it’s called Avec Amour. It’s musky, powdery, with bergamot and some other stuff. I don’t really enjoy powdery scents but I have hers and I do like it!
Ahhh I have PD too and it was SO tough to treat, I tried so many things over a 6 month period and nothing really worked. What finally did is the skincare range Amperna, which was developed for people with PD, and taking a break from foundation (sorry!). I was able to use CC cream though. Hope this helps!!
FYI... what helped me get rid a Perioral dermatitis was one capsule a day 5000 mcg of biotin was gone in one day. I now take it about one to three times a week, so it will never come back. Have not had it again for 6 years. I learned it from another youtuber. Best of luck!
I got a CT quad recently and I felt the same way - really pretty in the pans and swatches but shortly after doing my make up I’m wondering where the magic is. Amanda was sooo excited about these new ones that it had me wondering but maybe CT just doesn’t have the magic for me 🤷♀️
I'm with you on the CT Pop Shots, I've returned mine today. I swatched one eye each of CT & a Nars Glitter in similar colour from the Summer Solstice Eyeshadow Palette and Nars was Better! The Cosmic Rocks had no shift on me and just looked 1960's teal :/ and I prefer PG special shades to these. The case was cute and that was about it for me.
Colourpop has a super shock shadow called Coconut. It's almost the exact same tone if you'd like a dupe lol I've just fished mine out to use as inspiration for some CT esque looks

I got the Smokey Quartz pop shot and also not really a fan. It's pretty, but I prefer it in the pan. (I'm a poet.. ?) When swatched I feel like it turns a bit pink on me, and I have similar shades I prefer in palettes that are shinier. I didn't feel like it had enough substance on the lid to give what I felt like it promised. I ended up dipping into a palette and basically running over it to get the look I wanted from it the first time I used it. Everyone being so excited about them confused me!
So here's the comment I was looking for cuz I'm always on the hunt for a bronze-taupe-olive, all in one, shiny yet dark, glitter optional, one and done wham bam shadow. Today I'm wearing a metallic from the Subliminal mothership and it's giving what it needs to on top of glossier's deepest concealer. There's dimension and luster. Now, if only I could find a single shadow on par with it for easier travel 😵 And yes, you are a poet. Sometimes, a shadow is more beautiful anywhere other than your own eye lol
@@nailinthefashion Are you talking about the shade 'Substance' in the subliminal? You just sent me on a swatching crusade!! Thank you! It has more of the colour I hoped the CT shade would have. I tried using a topper on it to get them closer finish wise - the best match I found is Substance topped with Astral Solstice from Divine Rose (I think it's also in Midnight Sun?) or topped with a Nabla single 'Water Dream'. Either of those give way more than the CT single and a much better base tone. I tried my hardest to find something similar for you in my collection, but apparently Substance is a bit of a Unicorn? Violette explains the reason for the marbling on the blushes. It's not just a pretty thing to look at. Alissa is meant for darker skin tones, which is why it wouldn't look good on you.
I find it odd that Violet FR specifically mentions her blush is good for rosacea, a skin condition that needs to avoid fragrance in skincare and makeup, and then proceeds to put a lot of fragrance in her product. 🤷. Great video as always Kackie!💜
I wasn’t a fan of the Violette Fr blushes (too chalky and dry on me) but I seriously contemplated keeping it to rub on my neck because of the fragrance 😂 it smells SO good. If they make it a fragrance I’ll buy it immediately.

I can’t get it to build up to any kind of color like I see on other videos/reviews. I can’t imagine more muted colors in this line working out at all. so disappointed I wish I could return might still try.
I found ColorPop Super Shock eye shadows to be very similar (if not better) in glitter/shimmer to the new CT Pop Shots... at a much cheaper price range and they stick to the eyes. (Though... I did not have an adnerance issue with CT pops. Go figure?)
That’s so disappointing about the CT shadows. They swatch beautifully but I’ll just grab the Kaja orange blossom. I already picked up chocolate dahlia and have mauve bouquet in my Sephora cart.
Lol I love indie makeup, and I wouldn't ask you or other makeup reviewers who are not interested in nor knowledgeable about indie makeup to review them. Everyone has their own interests, and with that come experiential knowledge. Finding a makeup reviewer that has great knowledge about every makeup category and type would be rare, and indie makeup is imo a whole world with great depth and range. Would be unfair to expect someone to review something they are not familiar with nor have interest in. However, I think that the indie brands specializing in multichromes, graphic liners, or coloured mattes (non-neutrals, pastels, neons) have unparalleled quality vs mainstream: so shiny, smooth, blendable, pigmented. Some are sometimes more expensive than luxury though. For multichromes, I recommend BadtotheBrow! They are amazing at reviewing and showcasing the shadows, and are very skillful in makeup imo.
What a bummer about Midnight Mass because Haunting of Hill House was sooo good..I still get a shiver thinking about some of the scenes. And the entire episode in the funeral home!
@@nailinthefashion I just felt like it was too much of people talking AT each other instead of TO each other. The monologues wore on me bigtime after a while.
Midnight Mass was great. You have to think how you would react if those things happened. You wouldn't think supernatural because supernatural things arent real as far as we've encountered in the world.
Iwhy do I not read more negative feedback for bisou balm???? I feel like your reviews are honest and it’s worth it to share my SO NEGATIVE review of bisou balm. I can’t seem to find many others oddly. The packaging is light and cheap, the top comes off in my bag and makeup bag more than it stays on. For about 30 bucks (plus shipping ) I’d expect weight AND some pigment. I have the color amour fou and I it reminds me of kids makeup. I understand the concept but when I watch the videos there is pigment that goes on easy, albeit they use a quarter of the tube to do it. Fine as a lip topper for a stain, that’s it. Waste of money. Buy some lip balm and a good lip pencil folks

Because I am always interested in knowing what cosmetic company owns other brands so when you mentioned Morphe owning Iconinc London that literally made me pause your video and scratch my head. I knew that Morphe owned Jaclyn Cosmetics & r.e.m. (Ariana Grande's line) but not Iconic. When I see Iconic I definitely don't see Morphe so I went and Googled it. Jade Elliot is the founder of Iconic London (founded in 2015) and the brand was bought by Blue Gem (private equity group designed to help brands grow) in 2018. Fun fact, AS Beauty (owned by The Shamah's who created e.l.f.) is focused on helping deliver global brands and their portfolio is CoverFx, Laura Geller, Julep & Mally Beauty. This is why you (maybe it is just me) see an uptick in Laura Geller's products again. 3 of the brands (not CoverFx) also continually have sales on their sites. Last Fun Fact, Jason Wu Beauty was a result of him working with Toni Ko (founder of NYX which is now owned by Loreal) in her Bespoke Beauty Brands incubator to develop his brand. She also helped with the development of KimChi Beauty. I am done now - my brain hurts..lol. Hope someone finds interest in all the beauty business nuances like I do!! Great video! The Violette_FR (thank you for the intro to this brand!) blushes remind me of the new Laura Geller Italian Marble Blush stick.
Btw I think Midnight Club and its sibling series are much more than just like, horror or sumn scary. They're these long winded portraits of life, death, love, depression etc complete with insightful monologues. They make me so deeply emotional and inspired each time. Not just to watch more spooky stuff, but in a general way: I want to live with more ferver after watching something written by him. To detect more patterns like astrology, to give in to not being in control of what comes next and let my makeup degrade over the course of the day, to roll with the punches more-- I want people to know me, the real me that I think is messy, or too this or that-- because when I'm gone, I don't want to haunt people-- I want the memory of me to be worth remembering. That's good writing! Midnight Mass and Hush are my faves by far. 🧍🏾♂️

PSA: the Kaja eyeshadow stacks are on sale on their site right now
My question is: where are those amazing earrings from? 🤩
They're YEARS old j.crew - but you can search like, rainbow tortoise statement hoops and get some fantastic dupes on Etsy and such.
Fun Fact: I'm watching this as I clean my brushes!!!

1000th like!🎉
What a bummer about Midnight Mass because Haunting of Hill House was sooo good..I still get a shiver thinking about some of the scenes. And the entire episode in the funeral home!
RENT FREE. The red room...
OH MY GOD KACKIE THANK YOU FOR SAYING MIDNIGHT MASS SUCKED
I rly liked it, it felt on par with his other works where it's less about the plot and more about the mood and monologues
@@nailinthefashion I just felt like it was too much of people talking AT each other instead of TO each other. The monologues wore on me bigtime after a while.
My daily reminder to wash my brushes….because I know they gettin crusty…. 💀
Truly got me over here doing it at least bi weekly now bc I'm not gonna shake the dice anymore lmao
@@nailinthefashion tbh I clean mine every 2 months…..but I only wear makeup on the weekends
@@baileydubs that's appropriate unless you're sensitive/acne prone! Just be careful with old cream products cuz they're the most likely to go off 👍🏾
You are so cute and funny, but the marbling in the blush actually does make sense. It lightens and lifts in a kind of special effect way.
Midnight Mass was great. You have to think how you would react if those things happened. You wouldn't think supernatural because supernatural things arent real as far as we've encountered in the world.
Nah I mean, it's not about that. It's about how quickly it was revealed to the viewer. It was boring for me.
Buy some lip balm and a good lip pencil folks
how do your earrings hold on in your ears???? :😮

You have avoided 2016 James Charles once again girlie! (RuPaul shady rattlesnake sound) we'll let your pumpkin spice latte review era aesthetic rest in power 🤡🤔😏
You, today, have found your way into my life. And i am so damn happy, refreshed and thankful. Hannah sent me over. I watched her smile and giggle and have the fun that makeup does to us who use the fingers the goddess gave us at birth. I am 54 years of grace. I sit with youtube daily and have put into the search engine "qwerky makeup review". But it has never sent me to you. So I will stop typing, make a coffee and look through your vid lists. You even have mindfulness vids! Cheers for now Tassie Joy
To detect more patterns like astrology, to give in to not being in control of what comes next and let my makeup degrade over the course of the day, to roll with the punches more--
I want people to know me, the real me that I think is messy, or too this or that-- because when I'm gone, I don't want to haunt people-- I want the memory of me to be worth remembering.
That's good writing! Midnight Mass and Hush are my faves by far. 🧍🏾♂️
