Goodbye LEGO Trains... City Breakdown Part 1

- Опубликовано: 8 сен 2024
- Today I started the process of breaking down the LEGO City! I decided that the best place to start was with the train lines because they somewhat lock the city in place, consume a tone of space, and when building layouts they are typically the first thing that I install. Removal of trains includes the raised line, ground track, amusement park track, platform coverings, and all of the train stations.

Thank goodness for MILS plates 😂
Every bit of watching the city come down is like getting punched in the gut. I’m excited to see the new workshop though.
Man I love bricksie trains in the Lego room how it goes around the hold city and display how trains supposed to be in a city ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really excited to see the finished outcome!! We are all here for the wonderful journey!! 😃
Super excited to see how the subways turn out! Loved seeing the train stations in more detail as I think they were built before I started watching your channel
I am excited for you!! Can’t wait to see the new set up! 🎉
When you said you were going to fit all the track and trains in that one tote I was somewhat dubious. I am often stunned by how much space disassembled city chunks take up. Seeing your ability to pull modules out mostly intact is really cool. Excited to see the rest of the disassembly and watch the newer more magnificent city rise up. Thanks for sharing!
Must be such a weird feeling, deconstructing the City but the excitement to get in to the new place. All the extra time keeping things organised will be so worth it when you come to unpack it all.
Hi Bricksie in your new city you should have “main roads” with are two roads next to eachother with a median in the middle. You could also have train track running in the middle in the median for a bit more detail aswell if possible.
In your new Lego city you should add power lines
When they’re naughty in the winter village they go to the dungeon!
Holy cow, it is actually happening! I have been watching the development of this city for over a year now, breaks my heart a bit, but looking foward to the new setup!
That new Parisian street designer program set had me thinking maybe you should add like culture zones in your new city… a Paris district for example with the Eiffel Tower and Parisian restaurant could be cool.
Here we go!!! Excited for thus journey. Not jealous of all the packing and moving lol
7:03 Just like Christmas Lights! They come down WAY FASTER than they went up!
This is bittersweet to watch
You should make an overview of the medieval area before you take it apart
All the train stuff piled on top of each other looks cool, especially the raised train line supports. 16:30 all of them lined up looks like a tunnel
The train stations are very cool
Its sad seeing this video, I've been watching for 3 yrs and learned so much from your channel. I'm also so happy for your family moving forward and starting a new adventure.
The raised trainline supports on that baseplate looks like a Death Star hanger! Get your microscale Millennium Falcon in there!
Wise decision starting with packing up trains first.
At the new layout you can better enjoy your trains by doing a few things.
1: seperating passenger trains from freight trains
2: running your elevated train on a perpendicular route instead of an adjacent route
3: having more visible locations for the trains
4: bringing back the freight yard and harbour for your rolling stock
5: building MOCs to serve as industries for your freight trains
6: building more stations for your passenger trains to cover the wider area
I’m sure you’re already thinking about some of those ideas. The future is bright
After seeing your wonderful birthday at Disney land I was wondering if you'll expand on your lego city amusement park with your own little area dedicated to some Star Wars and other themed attractions?
This is exciting but also devastating. So many cool things about this current city. But I'm so excited to see the improved and waaaay bigger city layout.
It hurts to watch this but I know that the outcome of the next area will become an absolute beauty!!!
You should think about using Mianne benchwork for your new space. Very cool module layout system.
Sad to see the trains go, but they’re going to be awesome in the new layout! You should create some sort of supply district that has warehouses or a farm and ships supplies with a cargo train line. Keep up the great work!!!
Can’t wait to see the new set up!! I have to say, you have an amazing amount of patience, skill and focus!! Love your channel and watching your journey of your Lego world!
In the new city you should incorporate the orient express!!
Something I'd like to suggest for the new layout is for the trains maybe look into Trixbrix tracks that are compatible with the lego track, definitely a opportunity to make unique rail lines for the larger city if you consider it
Congratulations on acquiring your new space for your lego! Can't wait to see you construct your new city Jordan. Me and my Hubby have been building lego since covid and have had a lego room especially built but have yet to build our city. We have absolutely everything we need and are about to embark on that adventure but it's quite overwhelming and difficult to know where to begin so Can't wait to follow your progress to get some tips!
You should do a trolley line in the new city and maybe a train museum setup that has older style trains running around loops.
At least you start with the trains I know you like building train parts for the city What's a remind city when the race line wasn't there I feel like it made a great change in the city.
Watching the deconstruction is fascinating - sad, but fascinating. I think this new adventure is going to be absolutely amazing. Best of luck!
Hi Jordan. Have you considered in the new layout making the Medieval area like an extension of the amusement park. It could be like a reenactment area. Kinda bringing it into the future so there would be modern visitors watching reinactors in "costume'? Just an idea. Always interested to see what you come up with. Best of luck in the new studio.
To be honest, it is sad to see this City layout go. But, we all know that the new layout is gonna be so much better! Excited to see what's gonna come in the future and your plans for the new layout!
I hope the new room is lot bigger, which will be so much fun for you. Taking a city apart is fascinating and understandably hard work. I hope it goes well.
Love the trains Those mill's plates are handy for moving all your sets
Goodbye trains see you in new lego studio nice organised packing away Jordan
The process of moving is pretty exciting!
Nooo!
Ok the new warehouse definitely needs a cargo line along with the passenger lines
16:38 you could make a tunnel underneath part of your city like that. I know parts but if you put that as the entrance under a raised platform it’d look really cool especially since it’d match the raised supports, a city theme
When you moved the house/cathedral to the middle of road, it looks like when real ppl move whole house a couple of blocks so they dont have to rebuild on the new lot.
Just an idea.. have you ever put a camera in front of train and let it record around the city? It would be cool to have train POV 😊
It's nice to see bits of the city we haven't seen for a while, and interesting to think how it may be fitted back together in the new city. Hopefully the dungeon can be integrated into the medieval section with your current diorama - beneath a hill that one of the castles sits on perhaps?
Do you have a plan yet for the new layout? There'll be lots of room at first but I bet it'll fill up quickly once you integrate things like the winter village, medieval setting and the proposed train yard.
You have a great way of interacting and showing us through your process. Your city is huge and so full of details. Can't wait till you start to share footage of the new place and your journey into the new city.
Do you have any tips on getting started with your own lego city project? I got a bunch of lego's from the '90s and all the modulars since the Department store. Any tips would be appreciated :-)
I'm super excited to watch this series. I'm actually in the midst of getting my city rebuilt as well after a tree fell into my house and caused a bunch of water damage last June. I'm finishing up the custom tables this weekend and then I'll be in the same boat as you for the rebuild.
So great to see the train get that last run. In the city to me. Train s in Lego City s an monorail s and the ride moveing are the best ..😊.best of luck on the. Moveing it all. To the new building. Mate carnt Waite to see the. New building. An the fitting in of the table s get in place before ..adding the. First part. Of the new city build ..your going to be able to blow owe minds away. With so much space. For what you can add. ..train line an road s ..to start with ...😊
The stud shooters on the Disney castle look they are going to shot the visitors!!
It'd be cool if you could do a time-lapse video of you taking the city apart unloading into a truck driving to the warehouse
Might I suggest the black tubs with yellow lids that Costco sells (if your Costco has them). They are a great size tub and they aren’t a lot of $$
2:00 yo lol your city is so cool
Wow so much work! Looking great! Love this vlog style and long videos. I love your long content. Thanks!
Wow that's looks like a really end of an era, but also that's a start of a new much bigger era. So exited for you!
Hyped to see some more MOCs in your new city
End of an era, beginning of a new!
You should get a big clicker counter board and put it in the city, and then count the minifig population out as you place them in the new studio city so we can all see how many minifigs you are the mayor off…. Must be thousands in the whole city
Those trains are so freakin’ cool!!!
Been here since the stretched basement layout. Gotta tear it down to make it better!
With the train setup it common sense to setup and in this case take down first as it consumes a lot of space
But the new tables on tracks so u can slid them apart so u don need any gaps in the city to get to the centre or the back. Kindy like them storage cupboards that open on tracks
U should put the dungeon under the castle that u have raised with the wall panels so u can go round and see it
You should put mini cameras on your trains to film awesome shots of it going through the city like what half asleep Chris does
Can you show what the new studio looks like before you start building? Like a before/after video.
Sad to see the city go, but really looking forward to the bigger layout. Keep up the great work 👍
I was thinking that you should put a small camera in the front window of the trains.
I can't wait to see the new studio with the new layout! It is a little sad watching this, but if you think that the new one is going to be the same but 3 times larger and better then It's not sad.
Get it, Jordan! Mixed emo's..sure but New Monster Space..heck ya🎉❤
Omg the day is here… so excited for you.
boardwalkI think it would be really cool if you used you amusement park rides and buildings to make a beach carnival/boardwalk.
When you make your boat yard in the new layout, you should put the titanic in it!
Would be nice to make a new "train" for in the amusementpark..an open train.. sort of a tour trough the amusementpark.. bigger lego room is going to be great!!😊
Can u make an replica of the lego city how it is now (the same layout) in the new space. And then place more cabinets for display sets aswell. also building mocs and dioramas in a different part of the studio.a island with the statue of liberty on top looks so good adding that would be nice with the extra space u going to have to expand the city more in the layout of how it was..adding more where u used to stand in front of the city.
It's hard to fathom how much work this disassembly and organization is. Good luck.
Bricksie it will be awsome if you made roller coaster moc for the theme park
Breaking the city down, but first, let's play with the trains! 😅
I wonder how big a pile ALL your broken up LEGO pieces would be?
It’s sad too see the city got get ting down piece by piece, but you know what Jordan will do next
Build a hole new city in the warehouse.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi. Jordan. Hear we go ..yes mixed bag of emotion ..one last vid. Of every thing running. ..man I'm Shaw. You going to add. Lighting. In. Your. Next. City. Build. ..😊
May be too early to say yet, but was wondering if you're planning to still have some type of train tunnel thing in the new warehouse layout? Since you won't have advantage of a wall will probably take more bricks (or IKEA boxes) to fully build a mountain for it to got thru.
It was great following you through the creation of your city, and looking forward to the next. Have you considered lighting in the lego in the new city?
Sad...but great at the same time!! Will look epic in the new site!!!
It’s crazy it’s finally happening
Proud of you man
Seeing this makes me also want to convert to MILS plates!
The new space already cleaned up and ready to go? I wonder how many U-Haul trips it will take. Good luck homie!!
Now u can put the loopcoaster back aswell😮😮
Wow, the details of your city are amazing so the new layout will be awesome. Good luck with the move.
Yesssssss😓😱😱😇 It is time to move to the new Lego Studio. It is going to be epic. Jordan and josee is going to make the basement a nice place to having fun and relaxing😎👍💥💥
If you build an airport in your new city, your going to have to have the Airport Shuttle Monorail (6399) I think it is.
Am I the only one that noticed Bricksie say whip with emphasis on the h like Stewie Griffin?😂😂
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
The end of an era... and the start of a new era!
Smash It! Smash It! Smash It! Smash It!
Please put a single fixed camera in the new studio that is permanently in the exact same place so we can do a lifelong timelapse. From the first day to the last a single shot everyday that could be pieced together as a annual timelapse video perhaps, just a single shot everyday from the same place so we can see the shear changes
IT'S HAPPENING!!!! 🎉
I can’t wait till the new journey of the Lego city it’s sad to see it go but I’m also really excited to see what u do next ❤
Congrats 🎉 🎊
Just curious...why didnt you wait until the new tables were ready before tearing down the old city?
The disney castle drops and-smashes again…. It wouldn’t be a Bricksie city redo without that getting smashed
The start of a new chapter is an omelet... and you can't make an omelet without breaking a few, eggs
Hi Bricksie, a few months ago when you where filming under the city, you wonderd were you left some minifigs. You couldnt find them. Did you found them meanwile? If not then hopefully you find them now when cleaning up.
Just in case you forgot about them 😅
It really happening 😢 Good Luck Bricksie!
Sad but excited for new layout.
Congratulations!
WOW! that's insane to remove all these Lego! Good job!
