To the guys that consider the turf version, I’d recommend the Phantom GX - either Pro or Academy since the sole is lower, suitable for high-paced, competitive games. The fit and comfort can be seen as great too after a game of breaking in.

Easy if you have very wide feet use predator but if you have normal then go for GX I tried both while buying and GX were a bit too tight for me in in the midfoot so I tired half size bigger but that leaves me with a lot of spaces in the toebox so I had to take the predators. But the GX looks really cool.
I find the comments on the accuracy being true to size well wide of the mark. Perhaps I had the wrong socks on after a day at work but found my usual size 10 way too small as in tight around the foot and toes cramped in. The GX on the other hand was perfect in size. Playing on some U.K. pitches the Nike’s would be ruined if playing on some of the grass pitches we have. The material in the Predator is ideal. Just can’t decide 😂

I bought the GX really good, but offers no protection. Just broke my little toes from a stamp and quality of gluing the sole to the outsole seems to be alittle flimzy

Would've given the Phantom GX a chance, but I found a small sports store looking to offload their last couple of Accuracy .1 pairs in my size for just a $100 so I jumped on the opportunity! Best fitting boot I've had to date. Will definitely pick up a pair of the Phantom GX in the future though.
Phantom gx for me, I’m a lw and it’s perfect for shooting and running given that I’m running 80% of the game and I really like the grip on them, they’re so good for dribbling
@@santsfr high is better for ankle support but low is better for running since my cousin has the lows and i have the highs, personally the highs are much better but it’s still down to preference.

GX is one of the the best boots all time.. I personally prefer the predator because I’ve always worn leather boots and it just feels more familiar. GX makes you feel like a better version of yourself… Predator feels like you leveled up lol

Fun to play with, but personally I thought they are too grippy, and too flexible, so I’m selling them and I’m back playing in my GT2’s (also df/ag). Absolutely love the GT2s, I think they are a great boot that was super underrated
I love the phantoms but I have to go predator because there aren't too many places you can try out boots in the states. And the phantoms and Nike boots in general have a funky fit on them. The predators are hard to beat being true to size.
I like the GX's feel from an objective standpoint. However, I felt that when I put it on that they felt less durable to the studs of opponents, teamates (or your own) and that the GX's would rip a bit more easily. That made me feel a bit discouraged that I could drop a lot on the GX's. I have a pair of the Accuracy's and I think that they seem to be a durable cleat so far. I think the accuracy would be a better choice for a non-pro that is looking for a cleat to last a bit longer
I personally do not like the "barefoot sensation", i just don't understand why football players like to feel that sharp and painful feel when they kick the ball so i went straight for the preds.

The Adidas studs are too aggressive (I'm talking about the AG studs)... at least they appear to be and many people who bought it, wrote in the comment section in the adidas site, that the studs are prone to ankle injuries. The Predator is not a bad choice at all, but specifically for AG, the GX is superior, however since you play on both surfaces it's up to your preference I guess
@@cameronmccormick5584 Yes, the AG soleplate on the Phantom GX is pretty similar to other FG soleplates that are all conical. It obviously will not have as much traction as boots with bladed studs, but it will be just fine on all but the wettest pitches (heavy rain, SG, etc.). Even then, you'll be okay, just be mindful. If you're set on the Predator though, I recommend checking out their HG version for AG use. The problem with the AG version is the studs are still the same shape as the FG version, they just have more of it. The HG version has studs that are more rounded, but still not completely conical like the Phantom GX's.

I wear the accuracy. 2 and I will not lie it feels more comfortable to break in and it has helped me with my control and shooting

I wish adidas made proper AG outsoles. I've always loved predators, but went for the GX mainly because they have a proper AG outsole.
