I’ve read the tower of god webtoon and to see the affect of how the shinsu is displayed in the anime adaptation is absolutely amazing

i read the whole comic and still didnt know what it looked like
yeah, I kind of like how they animated to basically look exactly like water. Of course, if you read the webtoon you would know its supposed to be that way, but in the webtoon it never really looks exactly similar to water like in the anime.

@@solidmentalgrace The way anime is today, actually i would say couple of years may happen. We could be at the beginning of ToG era and the anime may get seasons as fast as other shounens from Japan, especially being crunchyroll flag first anime.
The best part of this scene that was missed is that the sleeping guy rose from his nap because of that monster.

The animation is nice too. They tried to copy the webtoon style at the beginning but they realised that it doesn't work with the animation so they just continued with the normal "straight" line style.
The second floor's failure rate, thus far:
It started with 400 people. The first test lowered that number to somewhere around 120.
This was determined to be too many, so a second test was administered to lower it further. Not sure how many manage to get past that, but not all did.
And the number does, in fact, drop after this point.
More than 70% of the people who got to floor two fail.
The tower has over 130 floors, with progressing levels of difficulty.
I'm somewhat curious as to how many people fail for every ranker that succeeds.
And what the failure rate on every floor is.
(I am a long time reader so gonna try not to spoil anything) But irc they said somewhere that there was only one or two future rankers among thousands of regulars.

Forget the failure rate. They should feel bad for Headon, that guy has to go all around the tower looking for people to climb and after selecting hundreds of people who prove themselves to the chosen ones, most of them fail anyway. Like imagine all that time spent rounding them up to go down the drain on the second floor.

After reading the WebManga until its currently release I say: This anime animation's drawings are very impressive, they produce a unique atmosphere making it feel more "welcoming" than what the story implies
The same voice actor for lero ro and Kento Nanami from jujitsu kaisen. ah such a calming and chilling voice at the same time. the voice acting is easily the best thing in the anime at least for me.
This Is going to be that new series, I tell you all the cosplays in 2021s gonna be tower of god

Initially, I thought that the animation was going to really bother me, but after watching this, i will continue to watch it.
People need to stop confusing art style with animation.
I used to fallow the Anime every week, But every episode would end with me craving more, so much that I had to stop. Now I can sit back and watch all the episodes I never watched - I’am excited.

One of the best animation imo, the idea of shinsoo is perfectly described with this like it didn't happen in the first chapters of the manwha

ToG has the potential to be one of the best Anime ever....
First time viewers of tower of god may think this is just standard op mc stuff, but it is much, much more complex and won’t be explained till near the end of s2 at the earliest.(s2: 240 or #320, for the readers)
By far best Manhwa out there. Period. Nothing even compares, Even Solo Leveling can't compare to the depth and story of ToG.

@@lancehvu Because each ranker is assigned to a specific test so Le Ro didn't want that many people for his test, so that's why he said too many people passed
Khun actually says that of the 200 only about 120 actually formed groups and were able to pass the test
Went into this show with such low expectations but damn do I love it. Not to say it's a perfect show, but definitely one I can't wait for more of.

@@emari8752 He is not the strongest. Phantaminum is the strongest in the tower. I agree that Baam's power level is IMMENSE, but he didn't even surpass Urek Mazino or even Kallavan.

I'm loving this soundtrack so far... very modern but still fits so well
The way the scene is built, maybe it’s the pacing or execution but it doesn’t feel as good as the webtoon. Also, I think the main character says a slightly different line when outlining he hasn’t been pushed back, it’s a small difference but it’s significant in contributing to the tone of the scene.
