I think they've done a solid job at transitioning from a webtoon format to anime. Especially with some of the more awkwardly drawn scenes from the very beginning of the comic
Things will get lost in translation and transition to anime.
I’m thinking the differences may have to do with the author using the anime to tweak things he may have wanted to go back and change after all this time? Not entirely sure but I’m sure he was probably consulted on it!

George This is false, authors have a reasonable say on the project regulating the original content, of course the producer has to make adjustments for both viewers and work efficiency so the content is impossible to be just copy pasted into a show.

such a difference in how this scene plays out, I think they did this to entice viewers early, its hype af, I loved the mystery and how the manwha depicts this scene also though.

I also really like when Bam’s power is depicted as terrifying, as well as his ruthless side, and I’m kind of glad we’re getting those aspects early.
I think the creators are doing a great job with the animation style and the music choice, I think the material is in good hands that actually care about it, can't wait to see this story get the attention it deserves. manwha adaptation in general is going to be the new golden age of anime, so many good stories.
So many anime that focus on the eyes, but so rare to have such a unique and amazing style, can’t get over Bams eyes, I wanna protect them

it's just a repeat of same frames. the animation as a whole in Tower of God is mehhhhh. wanna see good animation? God of High School anime will air after Tower of God finishes. i think end July 2020.
The pacing, animation, directing, music, and characters outshine the original by so much its amazing. This is truly going to be a game changer anime. This is anime at its absolute best. Tower of god is my new obsession.

The animation and music for the scene where the shinsoo shoots out is really good, but i don´t like it in comparison to the web comic. In the webcomic the shinsoo was like an instant slash that cut Hwa ryuns eye. In the webtoon it made sense that only her eye was hurt but here it is so over the top with the huge shinsoo beam that it kind of is strange that only her eye was hurt.
I don´t know, but maybe it´s a unique style called "electro-choir" or something? Either way it sounds really cool and ads some extra style to the series.
