Transfer Case Fluid Change F150

This is a quick video on how to and why to (or why not) change your transfer case fluid before the Ford recommended interval. As you will see mine was fine, but that may not be the case for you. Thanks for watching.

I just did mine on a 2021 F-150 with 25k miles because I dipped it and it was brown. Only got 1qt out and it had a pretty metallic hue so I'm sure I'll be having to replace that soon (hopefully under warranty). Put about 1.8 back in..

What is the transfer case ratio? (That is the Borg-Warner 4469 Transfer Case?)

Mine too 1.5 quarts and it really had me worried since Ford says it holds 1.9 quarts. I even made sure to do it on level ground

Yours seemed very LOW!. It looked like about 1/2 quart came out, max😳
