Hi, Can someone kindly advise/help in increase Exhaust sound on my 2017 Cayenne S E-Hybrid? Is there performance exhaust/parts that I could install/buy? Thanks you in advance
@@GermanTech-Motorworks Thanks for your reply. Porsche claims 0-60 at 5.6. Were your results because you didn’t launch correctly? The 3.0t tfsi are such great motors and the parts to rebuild the motor are very reasonable compared to other Porsches since it’s an Audi engine. Great work by the way and thanks again.
@@watcharatphairatphiboon2949 Thanks for your reply. The Cayenne E-hybrid surely does, not the first production of the S-hybrid that produces only 333hp on the combustion engine. Besides, please consider Porsches measurements are taken in best possible conditions such as 15-20 degree german weather with the smallest wheels and lowest (lightest) options available. We measured the individual car in the video prior to our works with 7.8 seconds in tropical temperatures. Here it needs to be mentioned that our car has high options and is running on 21" turbo wheels ;-)
@@GermanTech-Motorworks That’s true. I thought it could be because of the degradation of the hybrid battery and the car being higher mileage. Did you guys consider the benefits of E85 with a water/meth injection? These cars are really a great deal at the moment and I prefer the 958.1 with the lighter mild hybrid over the 958.2 with the full plug in hybrid. I hope aftermarket battery companies will start to offer the latest battery tech on the earlier hybrid cars like the BMW i3, i8, Prius, Porsche Panamera & Cayenne. Ennocar provides a retrofit replacement for the 958:1 with an improvement from 6Ah to 6.5Ah, but not much else. A retrofit cooking upgrade for the batteries would be a better improvement in my opinion. Anyways I love what you guys do since not a lot of companies give their attention to these earlier hybrids. I hope you will have continued success in your business. Thanks for the prompt reply again.
With both the stock engine and the electric motor contributing, it's originaly capable to do 60 mph below 6 seconds, hits 100 mph below 14 seconds flat, and slaps down the quarter-mile in about 14 seconds at 103 mph. I was expeting a bit more with these upgrades. What are you not telling us, lol!
Thanks for your comment. Have you tried that before? The 60mph in below 6 seconds or did you merely read about it? 🤭 I believe in before - after tests of one and the same vehicle to have accurate numbers. Anything else is hearsay... The manufacturer achieves their acceleration claimed by taking into consideration environmental factors such as temperature & humidity. The runs are conducted by professional drivers on entry models (little to no accessories) with smaller wheel circumference, coil spring suspension and pvc option instead of leather (whatever makes the car lighter).
We are pretty sure it can (you might need slight modifications like we did as you can see in the clip). Thanks for writing to us. Check your mail box, we've replied your email :-)
@Mac Stark thanks for the input. I believe what Fahad meant was if we can tune his car remotely online. We are aware of files purchased from the internet. We just had one client recently who did that. We had to re-do it as it was running far too rich. Depending on setup and environmental conditions they are (unfortunately) not "all the same" at all. Besides, without having a tool, nothing you get of the net will be helpful. In our video the tuning is done vehicle specific, I'm sure there are more options out there - we just don't advice to go for it.
Maybe someone can respond to my question. I have a 17 e-hybrid. I like to tow with it and was wondering if anyone has coded out the engine shutoff when at idle? Also would be nice to cool down and warm up the cabin without opening the hood?
Hi Errol, to our knowledge the engine start-stop on hybrids is natural and can't be "programmed out". There is an option from Porsche (available in Tequipment) to activate your A/C remotely as well as auxiliary heating system.
Very, if its looked after it correctly. This car is a daily driver with no breakdowns at all. Unfortunately not many repairer understand service needs of technically more sophisticated cars.
Short, informative totally understandable for the mechanical untalented like me... 😄Hahaha.... Well done! BTW, do you have a 2016/2017 Cayenne diesel S 958.2 available for sale? Regards.
Always a very informative and great video. As usual.
Thank you 🙏
Impressive...yet again...👍👍👍
Thank you :-)
Fantastic hybrid power 👍
Thanks Garric, especially drivability is absolutely amazing. The car feels light like a Macan.

Take the muffler off
I have the same cayenne and yes it’s super quiet ! Shame
@@nathanpiratheepan5298 yes literally any exhaust anywhere
Will APR’s ultracharger throttle body upgrade work in the Cayenne Hybrid like it does on a 3.0T Tfsi supercharged? Thanks.
As the engines are pretty much similar, I don't see how not.

Where can I buy this kit? I’m in the US.

very informative video. I have a 2011 Touareg hybrid and i would like to know if that charge cooler can fit on the touareg?

only 500hp? I’m getting mine to 610hp exact same model
Good Job 🙂
@@GermanTech-Motorworks doing the same as you have done. But ported and polished, remap, full exhaust, air induction 😎

Did you replace the battery under the drivers seat
How much would that cost? Thank you
Can you guys offer a tune over the net ?
Unfortunately not, with our maps being specifically designed for every individual vehicle, we need to have the car on hand.

Hey, we are located in Sunway Damansara Technology Park, feel free to drive over for a diagnose of the issue.
How much does this mod cost labor and materials
you're looking at about $2000-$4000 DIY depending on what you want to do. up to $6000 from a knowledgable technician like this person here, or myself

Dont try to outsmart Porsche engineers, forcing more boost will reduce the engine life in the end.
We believe the reduction of power in the Audi engine has political reasons, but yeah, in general we advise the same :-)
Bruh, 5.6sec for 0-100 is cooked 🤣did you not get a stage 1 tune? Then switching the pulleys was just useless.
🤣🤣
