Ngl this was the one video i was looking for when deciding on getting a used one, since they are around 28k now i was very interested and this sealed the deal
purple8gold Hi, the electric part is to be used while in town when petrol consumption is high with start and go situation, thus saving fuel. On the highway you may use the petrol as highway won't eat much fuel compare to city driving. While on the highway, the battery will charge itself while you drive for you to use the electric part again when you are in town. Road trip with this car is best as it saves petrol or when you never know where the next petrol station will be. Hope i shed some light on usage of hybrid. We obviously don't want to use a V8 turbo engine for road trip as it guzzle up gas like nobody's business. If fuel efficiency is what you are looking for, theres the diesel version but with that said, the diesel version cant match the performance of this E Hybrid.
Porsche has been making the hybrid SUV for a few years now. I don't think this guy would have to open up with a wow, shock and awe that Porsche even made one.
Dont understand why anyone would buy this vehicle 'it's to expensive to start with the Lexus rx is a much more reliable and easier to run vehicle than Porsche 'I have a Lexus rx and I wouldn't swap you for the Porsche 'its been ultra reliable and parts are not expensive at all 'there is 427000 miles on mine now I bought it new way back in 2009 it's a hybrid 400h '''' no oil or water usage no leaks no rattles or squeak s ''super quiet 'I really believe it's the best vehicle in the world right now nothing comes close 'and I have driven a lot of vehicles in my life Mercedes BMW Audi Ford Honda Toyota 'and more 'but I must say that Toyota and Honda was bloody good as well 'I had a Honda with 310000 miles on it no problems what so ever so I'm not going to run down Honda hoho
The Cayenne will be every bit as reliable as your Lexus, and I don't want you to take this the wrong way, the RX is a good car, but the Cayenne is in a completely different league. There is a reason the porsche is so much more expensive, and it's not because of the badge, take one for a test drive and make sure to try it in both comfort mode and sport mode and you will understand.

GREAT REVIEW
Thanks for the great review! Im just about to buy one.
Another great review!
i saw one and it had a green licence plate(in toronto) i thought only fully electric cars get green plates ?
Does the petroleum engine charge the electric engine
WALTER HARTWEL WHITE yes, as mentioned in the clip on 3:00 mark. It recharge itself using petrol.
I still don't get it. If the electric motor only has 13 miles of range, what's the point of it? What am I missing?

Is this the same engine as the Audi S4?
Many Audis from the A4 to the A8 use this supercharged 3.0 L V-6 engine. It works very well.
It only does 78 in electric mode, because at 88mph it would produce 1.21 jiggawatts of power and it could alter the future! Right Craig Cole?
that engine seems like the s4 v6 supercharged motor...
It is . Lol. It's the Audi 3.0 supercharged engine connected to an electric motor
wait is this vancouver ?
Torrey B Wait . . . NO
Then where is it?
Torrey B Reviewer did sound very canadian eh!
Didn't notice an accent, just looked like vancouver's cityscape
Torrey B Too flat for Vanc. Looks like Lake Ontario. I'd say Toronto area
