Many people have asked about the birds. This is what Chris Robertson from Wildpress told me... "The Southern Royal albatross, which has its principal breeding colony at Campbell Island, south of New Zealand are arguably the largest of the albatrosses, similar in size to the Wandering albatrosses who frequent South Georgia. These Royals breed successfully every two years and circumnavigate the southern hemisphere with significant holiday periods off Argentina. They have been tracked at speeds of up to 120 kph and covering distances of up to 1800km in 24 hours."
It's strange that at the farthest point in the ocean from Earth there are birds flying around the ship... this is a hoax When birds are tired of flying, will they jump and rest in the sea? Because it's far from land, O bird?
@@reinkarnasi0770tvAlbatrosses are expert gliders and know how to use the wind and thermals to move around. With such huge wingspans, they generally do not flap their wings much because this would take too much energy. In order to take off, they just need to get some air going under their wings, and the wind basically lifts them up. Amazing birds, very efficient.

It wasn't a recommendation video, i've searched it like it wasn't about luck and all it was your dedication amd hardwork. What an appreciable journey. Hats off
Wow, reaching Point Nemo is truly an incredible achievement! It's awe-inspiring to think that you made it to the most remote place on Earth, surrounded by nothing but the vast expanse of the ocean. Your journey showcases not only your determination and adventurous spirit but also highlights the sheer beauty and isolation of our planet. Congratulations on this remarkable feat and for sharing your experience with us! 🌊🚀
@ChrisBrownExplores I think I should be the one saying thank you for the content!!! One question. When you saw the birds all the way out at point Nemo, was it surreal? Not seeing any life and BAM, you see freaking birds in an uninhabited area.
@@kdrizzy2012 Yes it was surprising. The Nemo are is supposed to be low-biodiversity due to the Southern Pacific Gyre (congregation of currents), which would suggest few fish and thus no seabirds. We'd seen one or two albatross on the route, but nothing like what met us when we got in the water.
@ChrisBrownExplores I really appreciate you replying and interacting with your fans. Cause I have become a fan! Do you think because of the lack of biodiversity at Nemo, that the seabirds became more active, and from what I saw and you explained, became aggressive because they probably thought you guys could be a source of nutrients for them? In other words, they got close to you guys to see if you were food?

Erstaunlich ❤😮
Verstehe zwar kein Wort aber finde ich auch
Nice work and the documentation throughout the video was amazing too. Very nice 👏🏽
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a beautiful documentary!
Thank you :-)
Wow what can i say, unbelievable how you and your team managed to make such a beautiful short movie about your trip to point nemo. This video and your channel deserve all the credits and i hope u will do a lot of more discoveries, like mariana trench or whatever it may be! It was very fun and cool to watch it! The saddest part is that the movie was only 15 minutes😢😂. I will subscribe and i hope more people will do for future Journeys!
Glad you enjoyed it! Since people seem to like this one, we'll definitely make short videos of futire trips
@@ChrisBrownExplores well this was really professional quality! It was really awesome! Can't wait for future discoveries!
I just learned about Point Nemo and am so excited to have watched this footage!! Really cool that an entire crew agreed to travel all that way. I'm also not so surprised to see that there is actually life in a part of the world that was seemingly barren. Great video!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it
An exceptional expedition vedio ! The storytelling and visuals of Point Nemo are top-notch
Underrated content. My wishes have become reality!
INSANE video from a channel of this size. I can guarantee this next couple of years is going to be astronomical if the content keeps up at this standard. I can’t wait to join you on whatever adventure comes next, keep up the work!
Many thanks 🤞. I'll certainly make videos of futre expeditions. I didn't really do it before, but you can read about a few at brown.co.uk
