I love my Cosori Air Fryer, I have this gadget for more than two years now and so far all I have to replaced was the basket. I recommend buying this in Amazon as they kept your order history for at least 5 years or so. It was tempting to buy a different model of Air Fryer but then decided to give Cosori A chance. The process was smooth, just make sure you provide the information that need.
Things you should know when you have an Air Fryer:
1. Always brush a little bit of oil on the basket and around it. I know, it says non stick but that will prevent discoloration on your basket.
2. Wash every time, especially when you are cooking something greasy.
3. Do not put this on the dish washer. This is the reason why the basket handle broke because I got lazy. So soak the bucket and basket in a soapy water instead and gently scrub.
4. Place your AIr Fryer by the air vent and away from the wall, to prevent your kitchen from getting smoky.
5. Unplugged the Power adapter when not in use to save you from paying high electric bill.

My Cosori basket handle broke as well. I reached out to Cosori Customer Service and had a new basket shipped to me within a week. Great Customer Service. I can't imagine using any other brand of air fryer as they work so good! Please keep the videos coming!
Yes me too, I honestly can’t find anything comparable to cosori as it really easy to use and user friendly as well.
Love my Cosori air fryers. On my second one and both had handle issues. The handles where the plastic part attaches to the basket gets hot and melts. Never put in dish washer, hand washed only. Cosori CS is good to work with and replaced one of the baskets for free as it was still under warranty.

@@DashofSpices When my basket handle broke away I was cooking a Cornish Hen, probably a pound and a half and cooking breast down for 15 minutes at 350, then flipping over and another 15 minutes at 350. After the first 15 minutes I removes the basket from the tray in order to flip over. At the point of lifting the basket from the tray with the hen, the handle broke. The plastic fittings next to the basket clearly looked like they melted. As mention, I love the Cosori fryer but the handle is obviously its "Achilles Heel".

Thank you for the amazing video! I have a similar problem: not only the inner but also the outer basket is broken. I found the replacement for the inner one, but the outer one doesn't seem to be available for re-purchase, at least I haven't found it.

Same here the inner and outer basket has broken away completely snapped off.
My handle broke off this morning and it’s not because I put it in the dishwasher as I always washed it by hand so this is most certainly a product defect and weakness of the handle plastic area !
Yes that's one of the downside of this basket. Just have to make sure that the screws tight all the time.
This just happened to me (and I didn’t put it in the dishwasher…never have) and went to the Amazon page and the “product support” window is closed to me. I bought it on Nov 7, 2019. So I guess mine is past warranty. Might try going straight to Cosori
#cosori is very helpful, I suggest to go straight to them.
The basket and drawer are either (1) top rack only, or (2) for better cleaning put in the bottom but TURN OFF heated drying (or remove before the dry cycle if you can't turn off heated drying).
You CAN get a replacement basket for $24.99 (+free shipping) on the Cosori website. I'm ordering one just for the handle so I can remove the basket mid-cooking and use the second handle by itself to pour the grease out of the drawer. I do it by hand now with hot pads but it slips sometimes. They need to sell the handle by itself.

I got my basket for free from Cosori, if you have one make sure to register it for warranty. Cosori was helpful when I asked for a basket.

My handle fell off yesterday. Definitely a design flaw - the screws holding the pan to the handle heat up and transfer the heat to steel nuts embedded in the plastic of the handle which then melts and over time fails. A new pan/handle assembly is £20 on Amazon but all I need is the handle.
The new upgraded version of this unit is built way better than this. You may want to check that out. And it comes with dual blaze.

It's the plastic that melts and becomes brittle. Clearly a manufacturing defect. Happened twice now.
It's plastic, it will brittle over time and heat is accelerating this process. Has nothing to do with the dishwasher. They build in these flaws so you have to buy new baskets.
Yeap you're right it's how they built this. The new one is more improved and so much easy to clean too
This happened to me. The basket broke away in my hand with hot food in it. Will not buy this again as I've had replacements twice. Cosori sent me both the basket and base twice. It's not the dishwasher. I wash by hand. It's the plastic, it's like it melts and gets weak.
