I just bought an air fryer but no manual however it did come with a cookbook. I bought the same air fryer for a friend the same day, same brand, she had a manual and cookbook with hers. Humm go figure. I’m loving it! Love this RUclips channel!
Thank you I have not use an air fryer I am stisttnot sure I'd I want to buy this expensive machine. I do not fry but put everything in the oven .I saw you put spray oil on fries a d shaking ,never have to in my conversion oven plus you need to have a space for it . I am not convinced
I got my Cosori Air Fryer for my birthday 3 weeks ago. I had spent about 6 monthes researching all about them, how they work, what to cook, how to clean them. ( Your videos have been the most help) And now all I can say is "I blame you for my oven becoming a place to store pots and pans" Over the last 3 weeks I have not used it for only 4 dinners. We bought an air fryer when the first one hit the market via infomercials, the kind with the little shelves inside. Well could not keep it clean, threw it out. Used my Convection Wall Oven instead. Went to a friend's house and she made bacon in the Cosori Air Fryer. It was amazing! Then after watching several of your videos, I am sold. It's time to give air frying another chance. thank you!

I just recieved a Cosori for Christmas and tried it with some crinkle cut fries. Seasoned with garlic salt and placed them in the fryer for 8 minutes. ( I microwaved them for 1 minute to save time). The fries were golden brown and cripspy delicious!!! I can't wait to try some fish and chicken!!! Thank you for helping me get started.
@@nicolebotelho202 I had a Power XL and I couldn’t get it to come clean especially the basket. I didn’t like the circular basket instead of a square one so I gave it away and bought a Cosori. I wish I’d have bought that one instead of the Power XL. It is easier to use and to get clean after using it.
Hey! I just wanted to say "Thank you" for your videos on air frying. We got one and had no clue how to use it. I watched a couple of your videos and it gave me the confidence to try it. It's been a month now and we use it every single day and love it. It's fast, clean and because of your videos I don't approach the thing like it's a calculus exam. It's our first choice now when we're hungry and we're not sustaining ourselves on drive-thru anymore. Cheers.

Great tutorial! Just got my air fryer this morning. Love the tip about the foil sling. One thing to note: the Cosori air fryer, when using the preset buttons, has an automatic audible reminder to "shake" halfway through the cook cycle. Thanks for a great intro to air frying!
Bless you just for being there! I researched everything on Amazon and came up with the Cosori model that you have, even before I found you! I felt so much better when I saw your recommendation. Whew! I'm retired and had 3 surgeries in the past 12 months, so I can't spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking for just me. But I want to eat healthy. I'm also learning Asian cooking too! So thank you for the info and reassurance. I really needed that. Keep up the good work!!
@@1creeperchris421 oh man, that sounds gross! Try washing it again and giving it a hot overnight soak in teh sink with some dawn dish soap. Then put a safe bowl inside the basket with some water, vinegar and lemon juice and let it run for 20 min at 400˚ and see if that helps?

Thank you so much for this great instructional video. I just got a Fridgidaire 8 Qt. Air Fryer and had no idea how to use it. I tried it in chicken strips, breaded fish and egg rolls. It worked beautifully and cleaned simply. Love from Toronto.

I'm so happy to have googled air fryers and found your channel! This is amazing, I do not own an air fryer and always wanted one; you've now convinced me to purchase one thank you.....I'm a great cook, not to toot my own horn but I am...I come from a family of caterers and chefs etc....and no one cooked like my Mom may she rest in peace.....I have never owned a crock pot either; call me an old fashioned type of cook....I just never trusted them and I do not ever leave my kitchen when using any heat source what so ever. The fact that it's not a pot of oil or any extreme oil used...such as when frying anything is what intrigues me and when they came out for sale I believe they were a lot more expensive right? They are GREAT for baked potatoes, and way more convenient than a full size oven. I use mine almost every day, and I have a wire rack so I can cook maybe steaks or burgers on top, and fries beneath.
@@glw5166 It's quicker if you part cook them in the Microwave first for about 10 minutes, then in the air fryer @180 for about 15 minutes. That is for a medium sized potato. If you do two potatoes, you'll need to increase the time in the Microwave, but not in the air fryer. Just stick a knife in and when they are half cooked, finish em in the air fryer.

Perfectly timed video as our Ninja Max XL just showed up yesterday! I was going to make some sweet potato fries from scratch in the oven but now I can try it out using the air fryer using some of your suggestions. I know the cook time will be less because they’re not frozen but now I know how to experiment with that. Thanks for your videos! I look forward to viewing more of them.
Congrats! I haven't done a video on this yet... But just check it every 5 min or so for doneness (after the initial 10 min). I do have a video on regular homemade French fries that could give you a little guidance. Enjoy your new air fryer!

So quick and easy and I now realise how dry chicken was for example after cooking it in the main oven even when covered in foil! The recipes are great and easy to follow can’t wait to try them. My wife didn’t see the value or need for it at first and wasn’t convinced, but now after about 4 uses she’s already seeing the benefits 👍

The best thing about it is when you're cooking chicken thighs, you don't get the fatty ends on the skin, everything is browned and crispy... and the grease at the bottom is SO clean; I make gravy with it. I also don't use as much seasoning as I used to, either... I don't know how the heck blowing air makes that much of a difference.
Just bought my first air fryer. I feel like my range of cooking can expand greatly with it. Just a preliminary question - when you say spray everything with oil, are there any other oils you can use besides avocado oil?
U can make blends extra Virgin I don't use though in my sprayer bottle I do use it for fast cooking things like Mahi Mahi fish which comes out perfect in a air fryer in a few minutes & thick slices cooked just perfectly .that I used a teaspoon of Xtra V olive oil I cooked it in a pan though in the airfry to keep any juices from the oil lemon herbs used Fantastic fish in a air fryer never over cooks it I always cook a bit less then recommended n preset Just in case

Hi, just wanted to let you know that it's not a good idea to use alfoil directly in contact with food at any extreme temperature. At extreme high or low temperatures alfoil starts to exude some chemicals that are considered poison. I know it's inconvenient but it only happens if the food is touching the alfoil. Michelle
@@Ban00 some people will put baking paper inside the alfoil so the food isn't touching it. You can always use a different base and have the alfoil arching over the food so it doesn't touch it too.

Not really, it uses high speed air pressure to circulate and cook the product like if it was surrounded by oil in a fryer, but yes like an oven with a pressured heat fan.

@@nicolebotelho202 I had a Power XL and I couldn’t get it to come clean especially the basket. I didn’t like the circular basket instead of a square one so I gave it away and bought a Cosori. I wish I’d have bought that one instead of the Power XL. It is easier to use and to get clean after using it.
Hey! I just wanted to say "Thank you" for your videos on air frying. We got one and had no clue how to use it. I watched a couple of your videos and it gave me the confidence to try it. It's been a month now and we use it every single day and love it. It's fast, clean and because of your videos I don't approach the thing like it's a calculus exam. It's our first choice now when we're hungry and we're not sustaining ourselves on drive-thru anymore. Cheers.

Great tutorial! Just got my air fryer this morning. Love the tip about the foil sling. One thing to note: the Cosori air fryer, when using the preset buttons, has an automatic audible reminder to "shake" halfway through the cook cycle. Thanks for a great intro to air frying!

@@1creeperchris421 oh man, that sounds gross! Try washing it again and giving it a hot overnight soak in teh sink with some dawn dish soap. Then put a safe bowl inside the basket with some water, vinegar and lemon juice and let it run for 20 min at 400˚ and see if that helps?

This is amazing, I do not own an air fryer and always wanted one; you've now convinced me to purchase one thank you.....I'm a great cook, not to toot my own horn but I am...I come from a family of caterers and chefs etc....and no one cooked like my Mom may she rest in peace.....I have never owned a crock pot either; call me an old fashioned type of cook....I just never trusted them and I do not ever leave my kitchen when using any heat source what so ever. The fact that it's not a pot of oil or any extreme oil used...such as when frying anything is what intrigues me and when they came out for sale I believe they were a lot more expensive right? Thanks again, just subscribed to your channel 'all' because your personality is amazing and you're honest I respect that. You're a great Mom, sign me a Mom too.

They are GREAT for baked potatoes, and way more convenient than a full size oven.
I use mine almost every day, and I have a wire rack so I can cook maybe steaks or burgers on top, and fries beneath.
How long and on what temp do you cook your potatoes?
@@glw5166 It's quicker if you part cook them in the Microwave first for about 10 minutes, then in the air fryer @180 for about 15 minutes. That is for a medium sized potato. If you do two potatoes, you'll need to increase the time in the Microwave, but not in the air fryer.
Just stick a knife in and when they are half cooked, finish em in the air fryer.

Perfectly timed video as our Ninja Max XL just showed up yesterday! I was going to make some sweet potato fries from scratch in the oven but now I can try it out using the air fryer using some of your suggestions. I know the cook time will be less because they’re not frozen but now I know how to experiment with that. Thanks for your videos! I look forward to viewing more of them.
Congrats! I haven't done a video on this yet... But just check it every 5 min or so for doneness (after the initial 10 min). I do have a video on regular homemade French fries that could give you a little guidance. Enjoy your new air fryer!

im on my third airfryer and the only time I used oil was to prevent sticking , frozen fries are precooked and they have been oiled at the factory
Love learning all the do's and don't. Purchased by Evo Oil Spray Bottle and meat thermometer you recommended. Got bags or sweet potato fries, Arby's curly fries and Red Robin onion rings. Can't wait to unpack air fryer and get cooking.

So quick and easy and I now realise how dry chicken was for example after cooking it in the main oven even when covered in foil! The recipes are great and easy to follow can’t wait to try them. My wife didn’t see the value or need for it at first and wasn’t convinced, but now after about 4 uses she’s already seeing the benefits 👍

The best thing about it is when you're cooking chicken thighs, you don't get the fatty ends on the skin, everything is browned and crispy... and the grease at the bottom is SO clean; I make gravy with it. I also don't use as much seasoning as I used to, either... I don't know how the heck blowing air makes that much of a difference.

Just bought my first air fryer. I feel like my range of cooking can expand greatly with it. Just a preliminary question - when you say spray everything with oil, are there any other oils you can use besides avocado oil?
extra virgiin oil is find but put the oven at 325F not 350F for the smoking point
U can make blends extra Virgin I don't use though in my sprayer bottle
I do use it for fast cooking things like Mahi Mahi fish which comes out perfect in a air fryer in a few minutes & thick slices cooked just perfectly .that I used a teaspoon of Xtra V olive oil I cooked it in a pan though in the airfry to keep any juices from the oil lemon herbs used
Fantastic fish in a air fryer never over cooks it I always cook a bit less then recommended n preset Just in case

My daughter surprised me with a Cosori Air Fryer for Mother’s Day this weekend and now I’m looking for tips on how to use it. I don’t want to repeat the mistake I made when I received the Instant Pot and waited for almost 6 months before opening the package only to realize that I should have opened and used it the day I received it because it’s such a time saver. Hi, just wanted to let you know that it's not a good idea to use alfoil directly in contact with food at any extreme temperature. At extreme high or low temperatures alfoil starts to exude some chemicals that are considered poison.
I know it's inconvenient but it only happens if the food is touching the alfoil.

@@Ban00 some people will put baking paper inside the alfoil so the food isn't touching it.
You can always use a different base and have the alfoil arching over the food so it doesn't touch it too.

So it’s not really an air fryer, it’s a mini oven and you still need to use oil for cooking.
Not really, it uses high speed air pressure to circulate and cook the product like if it was surrounded by oil in a fryer, but yes like an oven with a pressured heat fan.
I love the instructions that you give and your receipts. I had never cooked in my entire life. My wife challenged me to cook once every other week for three months.
