I appreciate your guys deep conversations. I know Link fears that this isn't what the audience wants, but I've been a GMM fan for a long time, and I love the Ear Biscuits episodes like this. Your Deconstruction episodes were great, as was the last one about the Enneagram.
Same! I’m been a fan since I was 11! These conversations are the types of things I wish I had friends I could talk to about. I’m only 21 though, I’ll find the Rhett to my Link at some point 😂

Your friendship is so lovely. You are both so emotionally careful with each other and it’s beautiful to watch. Also, I love how much you two totally respect, and admire, Stevie. It’s so rare in the industry.
The funny thing is I don't think any of us saw anything different last week then usual. You guys see all the negatives and we just see the good. As you probably know, ya'll are harder on yourselves than anyone else. :)

While the odds of you seeing my reply is slim I still want to say how much I appreciate this conversation. I seriously just really really like you guys. I would love to hang out with your families you just seem like an absolute delight to be around and people that I could really learn from and I think that’s why I keep coming back to everything Mythical has to offer, and hearing your realness is such a relief from everything that goes on. I don’t think you guys realize how much of a difference you make in people’s lives. I took the same test after watching the previous episode and I learned so much.
It's really wonderful and refreshing to see you both so openly and thoughtfully discuss the things that you might have issue with in the other, or where your feelings might of been a little hurt. That kind of vulnerability and honesty as well as the way you are so willing to look at it from the others point of view and be so forgiving is a rare and special level of friendship ❤
I'm so impressed with this masterclass on how to do friendship. I've learned in the last few years how important it is to be honest and vulnerable with your friends (especially close friends) when you feel like you've been hurt by something they said in a loving and gentle manner. If you both don't do that it could come out in an unhelpful way like anger or judgement. It can be awkward and painful on both sides. My respect has gone up even higher that it has been for 6 years and that has been high already! Well done guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey Rhett and Link, just wanted to say I appreciate how open and vulnerable you guys are with us. I know what kind of humility that takes. And for guys with your success and stuff it means a lot. As someone who looks up to you both as good role models, this has to be my favorite episode. Being able to look into how you work and think, is very insightful.
This episode really helped me to understand myself better. A couple of years ago, I took the test and got a 6, but I took it the other day and got a 3. I was confused because they sound so different. But, knowing that a 3 can positively become a 6, but also negatively become a 9 (whose traits I have also felt) makes so much sense! What I would love to hear, especially from Rhett as a 3, if either of you have dealt with imposter syndrome. With new situations and challenges, I typically mold myself and figure out what skills I have that can really make me shine in a situation. But at the same time, there's always a thought in the back of my mind that someone knows that I'm basically faking it until I make it, and there's other people who are more qualified to do what I'm doing.
I did the test awhile back and I'm a 4, and the second closest I was to is a 1. I had my husband do the test too and he's a 6. And I found out which I already knew about my husband is he doesn't always show his emotions or really want to talk about them much. Me, I'm an open book because I know emotions can be volatile if bottled up so we balance each other out.
You guys are better off reading and studying all the enneagrams types instead of doing a quiz to tell you what you might be. Quizes aren't always true to you.
Min 21:55... "When we look forward, we get there."... AMAZING quote! See what I mean, guys... we're listening to a flipping masterclass. A Genuinely Mythical Masterclass!
I really enjoyed this conversation listening to it, and it inspired me to find out my own “number”, which was as you said like someone reading your mail. Loved the enneagram songs also - cried through all of them 😂
I enjoyed the conversation, but I'm still not willing to put stock in this. If you do and find it helpful, then that's great. I'm not convinced, though.

This is such another big example of how much they fit the numbers. Genuinely loved watching these last two podcasts about the enneagram, I took the test a while ago, I'm a Nine. I live in a dental office and it was interesting to learn that Link is “that guy” when filling out forms. Haha. It’s common now days to create an account for your patient account in order to instantly update your account with updated forms plus you may be able to access records online that way. All passwords are encrypted, definitely nothing to worry about unless you reuse passwords. That comprise would not occur from a provider. It would most likely start at another site with the same password. Please provide medical history to your providers. It is important. For instance, if you have had a joint replacement or have a pacemaker, that’s super important to report to avoid complications such as a blood infection or even mess with the pacemaker with an ultrasonic. Sounds like Link is expecting a full comprehensive evaluation at each hygiene appointment. Typically, that only happens every 3-5 years unless specifically requested. Trying not to troll, sorry if it sounds douchey. It’s just things that no one really knows unless they love dentistry.
Yes but he was having a tough day. In this day and age we shouldn’t be touching others peoples property either. At my Dr. We don’t do what we use to prior to covid. I’m with Link. Maybe I’m a 3. Who knows.
@@leannamarie1318 Yes, only dentists are allowed to leave the office. The rest of the people who work in dental offices are caged in the back after business hours.
By that same token, it's so outrageous how much of a 3 I am...I think everyone that knows me could immediately spot it (even here, I'm thinking about how others see me, WOW. Not planned, it just never stops, like Rhett said) Unfortunately I'm slipping into that "disengaged and apathetic" that Rhett talked about towards the end of the episode, to an *extreme*
Omg I’m so happy you guys mentioned Sleeping at Last because yes those songs are amazing! Naturally I think 4 is the best and brought me to hard core tears (which I loved). But yeah I also listened to them all and all though I can relate to some of them, none of them got me in the way 4 did. And I was expecting or the 4 song to fit me but I was not ready for how exact they got it. Just perfect. As Link said “I felt very seen.”
I love both of you more than I did before after this. Thank you for showing such a beautiful side of you (all your sides are beautiful really). And thank you for mentioning the songs; I cried my eyes out. ❤
Really appreciate the recommendation! Cried from start to finish several times listening to my enneagram number (sleeping at last, two). Now listening to numbers from my loved ones and feel like I’m learning new things about them and what’s on their heart!
Hey guys, I love you and have for years. You kept me motivated to wake up in the morning and keep going. From east coast ❤️ you’re an inspiration truly.
I'm really invested in the whole enneagram talk. Always a pleasure listening to both of you talking about your thoughts. I recently found out I'm type 5 and all the things I'm discovering are really exciting . Greetings from Greece, Europe 🇬🇷🥰💜
The last episode was honestly great!! I didn’t pick up on much tension, but even when there was it was great!! As one who has researched the enneagram for two years, you guys were very informative and nailed it!
I like how in the gmmore " Match The Fast Food To Its Zodiac Sign" rhett mentions how the enneagram is respectable and now he's delving much further into it
My hygienist has changed, and my dentist retired. They’re trying to make me get a crown on my very back molar, because the filling is bleeding into the tooth. My part would be about $700 for a tooth that no one sees. My old dentist knew that I don’t like dentist because of a bad experience as a child, but he was caring and knew to do what I wanted. I feel this new guy is just about the money.
My dentist retired too and he was so nice accommodating. He would pause through the process and ask if I needed a break or time. He never over charged and I miss him. I have another dentist and I haven’t gone since last year. I will be looking for another dentist. Dr. Mendoza was the best.
Well just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get the treatment done. I’ve seen a lot of people let things go and then root canals and extractions need to happen when it could have been a simple filling.
I got so emotional when Link mentioned Sleeping at Last. I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but his enneagram album (all of Atlas II actually) got me through what was arguably the hardest time in my life. I love these two so much already and this just made me love them even more. ❤️🥲
Another very interesting episode. It's so funny: I've watched these guys for years and didn't pick up on the perceived criticism (from Rhett and Link) from the last episode. I think I can generally pick up on any tension between them, but nope. BTW - love Link's Third Man t shirt
What’s happening with these episodes, unlike the deconstruction ones, is you’re both so preoccupied in how you (a 1 or 3) feels or relates with each statement, that you’re not able to put yourselves in the other persons shoes bcuz you’re so focused on yourselves. It’s just a back & forth of “well this is what happens to me” so I understand what Links saying and feeling about not rly listening to/being there for eachother. It’s a great episode though. Very informative. Thanks for sharing
I’m a type 4w5 and I absolutely loved both of these videos and how in depth you guys got. (Whether you felt like you or didn’t) I’m also semi new to the enneagrams and really enjoy learning more about them. I really feel like I’m an expert about type 3 & 1s (including my type) now. However I think it would’ve been really interesting if you did the same thing but have 1 person per type so you could see and hear about their in workings and ways. Would’ve been a whole lot longer but still interesting. Anyways thanks for being you. Lots of love. 😊💙✨
I know my father so well. Not only did I correctly guess he was a Gryffindor when he did the sorting hat quiz, but I also correctly guessed he was an enneagram 8 (the Challenger). I recommend doing this with your loved ones and seeing how well you know them. I'm a 4 by the way🙃

Funny that Link hated the last episode when I commented that it was one of my favorites. This one was as well. As a 3 with heavy 1 tendencies, their conversation on the enneagram really resonates with me.
Thank you for introducing me to the Enneagram test. I took it and had some of my friends take it. For the most part, it was spot-on. I’m hoping I can gain some insight from it into myself and my relationships.
It has to be nice to work with these two. I know I would be happy even swiping the floors for these two, they just seem to be the kind of bosses that not only would appreciate your work, but also inspire you to grow both as a person and within your career. Too bad I am in another country.
Once again, I am amazed that I may actually be a 1. I really need to look more into the Enneagram, I would have NEVER thought of myself as a 1. When Link described the way he feels being on a plane, that is me 100%.
Rhett's hair is so pretty. 😍 Link IS a perfectionist. The pressure he puts on himself hurts my heart. 💔😭 I feel like you get a different view of Rhett & Link, depending on what you watch - GMM, More, Ear Biscuits, Mythical Society. With each level of content you climb, you get closer and closer to seeing who Rhett & Link really are. They're so good at making up after a tiff. How do they do it?! I need advice!
This episode is so meta it almost escalated to an analysis of the analysis of the last episode while you introspect about it and over it and into it, all relating to what the enneagram says. I don't want to know what watching this while high must feel, lol.
I don't think the enneagram works for me nor does it work / fit in my personal philosophy on myself and other people. However I'm totally for people using it as it causes one to self reflect which is definitely a good thing! Found the podcast interesting
Can i just say im extremely proud of you both and your wives from the deconstruction episodes your wives are still with you which is amazing. because now a days if one partner hurts another even by accident and even if you apologize a thousand times they still split ways. it doesn't matter what culture they grew up in north america. 💞💕 .
I just went to the sleeping at last rec... and Im crying my eyes out wow... if there was any question that Im a 4 as pure as they come I don't now there's no doubt anymore lol.. wow that was beautiful and powerful, thank you for that gift.
Just listened to Sleeping at Last songs #1-3. I took the test and came up as a two. Teared up at all 3 songs but weeped at #3 song. Very interesting. Thank you to both of you for the vulnerable and open conversation on these and other #earbiscuits podcast. 💓
These two episodes have been deeply meaningful for me. I took the test after listening to the first episode and have since been doing a deep dive into the enneagram and myself, and my relationship with my husband (he took the test as well). I'm a long time fan of Rhett and Link and have always said that I saw so much of myself in both of their personalities, so it wasn't so surprising when I scored equally between the 1 and the 3 types, I genuinely can't choose which one I am. You mentioned in the first episode that there's a nickname for 1/3 combos, was that a joke or is there really? Lol. My test results showed the 8 type followed really closely after the 1/3, and I'm a first born child of 3, I sound fun eh? 💀 Anyway... Thanks for doing this, it sent me on a good trajectory.
Learning about my Enneagram made so much in my life make so much sense. As an 8, "Screw you. I'm gonna do what I want to do" is LITERALLY my personality. However, what I wanted to do was listen to both these podcasts back-to-back in order. (I even waited for this one to be uploaded before listening to the first one.) Also, what I wanted to do (and do) is watch GMM before More EVERY TIME! Even when I have 2 weeks to catch up on, I watch each day's content together before moving on to the next day. And I go in order. (There has to be something else in my personality dictating that. 😂😂) (Been catching up after a vacation.) Now listening to the rec. I felt more attacked by my wing's song (9). It was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
We know you guys are real people. Ear biscuits shows us a part of your serious side. You can't have that GMM high energy all the time.

Trying not to troll, sorry if it sounds douchey. It’s just things that no one really knows unless they love dentistry.
Live?
Yes but he was having a tough day. In this day and age we shouldn’t be touching others peoples property either. At my Dr. We don’t do what we use to prior to covid. I’m with Link. Maybe I’m a 3. Who knows.
@@leannamarie1318 Yes, only dentists are allowed to leave the office. The rest of the people who work in dental offices are caged in the back after business hours.
Seriously, the whole time I was like, Link they can't do that, it would be a HIPAA violation...
Sometimes Link is a little much.
Happy Father's day to all the dads everywhere.
Aww thank you, you're so sweet!
When you said sleeping at last i screamed. I’ve been a fan of his for yeaaars!
oh man, I've known for a while that Link and I are twinsies, but hearing him talk about flying is so weird...that's SO me! lol, I love this!!
By that same token, it's so outrageous how much of a 3 I am...I think everyone that knows me could immediately spot it (even here, I'm thinking about how others see me, WOW. Not planned, it just never stops, like Rhett said)
Unfortunately I'm slipping into that "disengaged and apathetic" that Rhett talked about towards the end of the episode, to an *extreme*
This feels like a long-form version of Bo Burnham reacting to himself in Inside
My weekend at work is Friday Saturday, so Sunday mornings are my Mondays. Always helps to listen to EB before work.
Really appreciate the recommendation! Cried from start to finish several times listening to my enneagram number (sleeping at last, two). Now listening to numbers from my loved ones and feel like I’m learning new things about them and what’s on their heart!
Really enjoyed the Enneagram episodes. Makes me want to go deeper into Enneagram now
I also did the enneagram test, inspired by your stories, I would say it's way more accurate than the Meyers Brigg
Hey guys, I love you and have for years. You kept me motivated to wake up in the morning and keep going. From east coast ❤️ you’re an inspiration truly.
Their friendship is just beautiful. 🖤❤
I love Ear Biscuits so much, I appreciate the insight and the authenticity of this podcast
I'm really invested in the whole enneagram talk. Always a pleasure listening to both of you talking about your thoughts. I recently found out I'm type 5 and all the things I'm discovering are really exciting . Greetings from Greece, Europe 🇬🇷🥰💜
I thought I'd never see another greek here! :)
The last episode was honestly great!! I didn’t pick up on much tension, but even when there was it was great!! As one who has researched the enneagram for two years, you guys were very informative and nailed it!
I like how in the gmmore "
Match The Fast Food To Its Zodiac Sign" rhett mentions how the enneagram is respectable and now he's delving much further into it
My hygienist has changed, and my dentist retired.
Hey its real easy for dentists to get a shed load of cash in the uk they get the money from the NHS
@@0odela1 I think they mean just getting it pulled instead
Just get it pulled if you can’t take care of it
Live from the west coast much love people
East coast representtt
Midwest/St. Louis, MO reppin , as well!
I got so emotional when Link mentioned Sleeping at Last. I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but his enneagram album (all of Atlas II actually) got me through what was arguably the hardest time in my life. I love these two so much already and this just made me love them even more. ❤️🥲
Things are only going to get better for you from here on out Harmony
Link: "There's no flossing! The last time I went, she didn't floss."
My brain: Picturing a dental hygenist doing the flossing dance.
These are my favorite types of episodes, these conversations are awesome!
I need to start a better sleep schedule.
same here buddy, i've been going to SLEEP at like 4 PM and waking up at like 12 AM 🤦♂️
Dude. Hard same.
I'm about to go to bed. I've been up since 7 am. It's 5 am now. I'm probably sleeping until 3 pm :/

Beautiful episode 💜
You guys make me want to be more open with my relationships around me
I’m a type 4w5 and I absolutely loved both of these videos and how in depth you guys got. 😊💙✨
i loved the last episode and i loved this one too. both of you were so open about stuff you felt uneasy about, it was moving to see
Of course a type one would want to plan out how often to discuss feelings lol
I know my father so well. Not only did I correctly guess he was a Gryffindor when he did the sorting hat quiz, but I also correctly guessed he was an enneagram 8 (the Challenger). I recommend doing this with your loved ones and seeing how well you know them. I'm a 4 by the way🙃
Hello fellow 4 ;)
@@melissan6456 4s for the win! Let's be socially awkward and alone while simultaneously wanting to connect with people who understand us... _together_
Pity party at my house. See you at 7pm.
Where did you take the test?
You are better off reading all of them and deciding what you are. Don't do a test.
The last episode was a great example of your guys’ numbers. Very meta in hindsight
I'm rly enjoying ear biscuits atm! I love listening into their deep convos
Thank you guys for introducing all of this to me! Very helpful and I learned a lot about my self
20:11 ignore this timestamp, it's for my own personal use. rapid fire clicking it when I'm feeling down
i'm glad they are doing this work on themselves. i was emotionally exhausted after this episode (my empath is showing lmao)
Rhett's hair is so pretty. 😍
Link IS a perfectionist. The pressure he puts on himself hurts my heart. 💔😭
I feel like you get a different view of Rhett & Link, depending on what you watch - GMM, More, Ear Biscuits, Mythical Society. With each level of content you climb, you get closer and closer to seeing who Rhett & Link really are.
They're so good at making up after a tiff. How do they do it?! I need advice!
i adore all the podcasts so much and this one is equally as incredible
I really wish I could find the episode where Rhett tries to convince link of his competitiveness
its called "is link actually competitive?"
When you're up at 6am so you get to watch it as it still says "no views"
When you use Rhett and Links table of dim lighting as a iniration to get up in the morning
"Iniration?" Are you sure you've actually woken up? 😛
I love these good boys who can speak frankly on camera. A great love goes on forever.
I just went to the sleeping at last rec... and Im crying my eyes out wow... if there was any question that Im a 4 as pure as they come I don't now there's no doubt anymore lol.. wow that was beautiful and powerful, thank you for that gift.
Please continue this series of meta conversations!
Just listened to Sleeping at Last songs #1-3. I took the test and came up as a two. Teared up at all 3 songs but weeped at #3 song. Very interesting. Thank you to both of you for the vulnerable and open conversation on these and other #earbiscuits podcast. 💓
It’s so true, whenever I listen to my Sleeping At Last song - which is number 6 - I burst into tears.
I don't know what it is exactly but I feel like I can accomplish anything while listening to ear biscuits
I don't know my number but I really identified when Rhett said aw shit she's talking to somebody
Would love to see more videos about enneagrams! So interesting
Anyway... Thanks for doing this, it sent me on a good trajectory.
@48:58 I’m not crying, you’re crying 🥺😭
Learning about my Enneagram made so much in my life make so much sense. As an 8, "Screw you. I'm gonna do what I want to do" is LITERALLY my personality.
However, what I wanted to do was listen to both these podcasts back-to-back in order. (I even waited for this one to be uploaded before listening to the first one.)
Also, what I wanted to do (and do) is watch GMM before More EVERY TIME! Even when I have 2 weeks to catch up on, I watch each day's content together before moving on to the next day. And I go in order. (There has to be something else in my personality dictating that. 😂😂) (Been catching up after a vacation.)
Now listening to the rec. I felt more attacked by my wing's song (9). It was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love you guys. Just the random conversations are 👌
I feel like I’m watching a session of couples counseling 😂
I have multiple family members who are dentists and dental hygienist. Flossing is part of a standard cleaning. Just fyi
