Pretty cool design but not so comfortable shower time, lol! I'd be worried a toddler or someone would push the button on me! Not really, but yeah - no.

With their striking ability to allow light and a connection to the outdoors, Sliding or folding patio doors are expensive and provide little protection from cold weather. They leak air. Courtyard design is a must for integration of exterior and interior. How do you heat these spaces? Hydronic in-floor? I don’t see any fans to circulate hot air down from those beautiful tall ceilings. These are million dollar homes.
Funny-a lot of the “design people” who create things like this also decry the evils of suburbia. Well-this house would live on at least 1/2 acre or more. If everyone lived in such “nurturing” designs, the suburbs would be spread out 3x as much and cost $1.5M+ a house.
