I don’t have words for how many people have been damaged by all this sickness and confusion around gender and the trans industrial complex. It’s staggering
Agree.
"trans industrial complex"
It’s so heartbreaking. Our youth deserve better.❤😢
Completely agree.@@Faith.M22
There is such a massive crowd of ppl who don't want to think about this. Who can blame them?
The overlap between cult survivors and detransitioners is striking. The cult excommunicates those who return to their biological gender. The vitriol with which detransitioners are treated by those still involved in the cult is so unfair. All the talk about true self and compassion goes out the window.
Sex. Biological SEX. NOT "GENDER".
@@iuliana1813They were never not their biological sex, though. They certainly transitioned from one something to another something…
@@iuliana1813 one is a linguistic term used to refer to the other in the English language.
@@brittybee6615Truth is nobody 'transitions' to anything. It's just lifelong damaged people, whether they accept their s ex or not.
@@4651adri Look, let’s take all the social aspects and ramifications out of the picture. If you have a guinea pig and administer cross sex hormones with the result that it’s body and behavior patterns shifts to appear more similar to the other sex than it’s own, what would you call that a change in?
Kudos to all detransitioners who are speaking out. ❤ It takes courage.
Definitely. Particularly when it's not just one chat and done - the online washback is ongoing for these people and they have plenty to deal with.
❤❤❤
Yes it does , i have spoken to Ritchie in the past & watched many of these interviews . One question that i never hear asked is "where would you be if you had no medical complications " ? There will be many like me in the future still transitioning & thousands of women choosing "elective surgeries" We will need to talk about higher quality standards in surgical skills all round . Even in people like Ritchie's case The Endo did not test for the basics at the start 1) how is the mental response to low, nil testosterone , 2) How is the mental health response to Estrogen initially & at higher levels ? My first Endo was a professor of 30 years , my current one has worked in the area of transitioning for over 20 years in Europe . There are so many things wrong not just endemic belief in blank slateism & gender ideology. Actual medical errors could be addressed but it does not look like there are motivations to do that.
I don't respect those whom follow gay trends off a cliff.
They’re my heroes.🎉❤
So a suicidal person who’d been on a crack bender was approved for irreversible surgery which has got to be one of the most physically demanding surgeries out there. Have I got that right?
Yes, you are correct.
Yes completely no medical gatekeeping
It's completely crazy.@@non_ideological_transexual7414
I was approved to have my penis removed at 17. Now I'm starting to wonder if that was even legal let alone I wasn't in my right mind.
@@kayla_white01I’m so sorry 😖
I'm a mom with a son lost to this ideology so this really hits home. I cried through this entire video because I MISS my son so bad. I know there is nothing I can do to help him come back but I am waiting, hoping and praying for that day.
It makes me so happy to see that this dear young man escaped and was able to find his way back to himself and to his family.
Got bless you and your child.
It is not an ideology. It is a psychological condition. Both trans and detrans people are valid. Go and love your son/daughter
@@luanao7665 - Incorrect, and please do not invalidate that she merely said that she MISSED HER SON, she is mourning, which is also “valid” despite loved ones not given a place to exhibit that without the exact sort of objection and lack of compassion you just exhibited. Now go and LISTEN harder.
@@luanao7665 1:25:24 - he states that a therapist in MN, where he is from, is not even allowed NOT to validate that you are trans; that is one very important example of how it’s truly an ideology and not doing what is best for the patient or medicine.
he said he got his genitals removed and a fake V put in.. did they remove his D aswell? that is crazy.. Kevin glossed over it and didnt provide detail on what "bottom surgery" is. he also said you returned to "normal" after 1 month. Normal? with D gone?
To play this instrument well, is no small feat. To know that wider audiences will be denied hearing his skill and talent due to being cancelled for "wrong think" is quite heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing that tiny excerpt of his playing on your page Ben.
Yes, the song at the end was unexpected but most welcome.
I was weirded out by it.
I loved that too, it’s neat hearing how his music kept his self-identity cohesive despite other fundamental changes.
Hypocrite cancelling starts with the abuse of censorship because of "offense" Same Same
@@hellyeah_ellajane art, dance, music are intrinsically human and divine.
I got a sinking feeling when Kevin said he had the so called "bottom surgery." What a horrid thing. I hope he get much joy in life in spite of the physical damage done. Seems like a stand up guy, and he still got some major methaporical balls speaking up.
The cult of eugenics got what they wanted: a castrated, unable to reproduce male of a certain race
Its not a mistake to make because its permanent, done by a good reconstructive surgeon neovaginas are as functional as we need them to be.
@@non_ideological_transexual7414 To me, that doesn't detract from the reality young folks like Kevin getting surgery done when they shouldn't regardless if there are complications or not. I can't imagine how it must feel to these young people or anyone for that matter to come to the realisation their mistake so to speak is permanent, life altering and I'd imagine in some cases, life shattering. Personally, I'm grateful to have grown up gay at a time when there was no such thing as gender identity. Sad, so sad.
@@joce11 That's not my point of course he should not have been operated on . The 2 separate issues ( of complications )are conflated all the time including by benny.

So much absolute cruelty aimed at brave people who share detransitioning stories. So just sending love & good thoughts. Thank you.
What most impresses me about detransitioners is their honesty. I can learn so much from these amazing people ❤
It takes mega courage to share your deepest and most difficult struggles at this level, on this issue, in this context. Kevin- you have much to be proud of, you are a strong man, and one to look up to. Thank you so very much for putting yourself out there. Your story will give other people questioning their transition the courage to speak out and get help. I wish you much continued growth and success!
It takes shamelessness.
Mega courage indeed. What an inspiring man. And an incredibly talented musician. I hope he keeps bassooning for fun. Conservatives love music too!
Whenever I meet transwomen I feel their "being" a woman is taking on and embrassing all the female stereotypes that I as a biological woman can't identify with at all. I hate shopping for clothes, I don't wear make-up all those media representations of women are so far away from me. I love being a woman and always have. I'm much more than a baby maker and I can change my own tyres. 😊
Thank you Kevin for sharing your story. You are a musician. 🎉
My ex transitioned and suddenly he wanted to walk on his tip-toes all the time “like a woman”. He started twirling and letting out exaggerated sighs and doing all this Disney princess bullsh*t that real women never do. He never wanted to be a woman. He wanted to be a fiction of hyper-femininity as presented in media. A lot of trans women obsessed with anime do this too.
@eliza4549 I'm sorry you had to go through that. One day, women will be seen for who we really are. 😀 I did laugh about your story, the idea of a twirling man on the tip toes sighing all the time, thinking that's how to be a girl. What a strange fella your ex is. I hope you found someone nice.
@@StormBringer5my ex fiancé transitioned as well then De transitioned thankful he only started hormones and didn’t do anything surgical ( I still get sad about thinking of him on hormones he did it 4 years and just stopped this past winter) … however prior to that he had gynecomastia ( male with excessive breast tissue) which has been something he’s always been insecure about. Being on estrogen made the issue worst than before and now he has to bind his breast to live normally. At this point surgery to get them removed is required when before he could go either way as they weren’t this large. I say all that to say as the original poster said I’m a lot like the stereotypical Barbie woman I love nails, shopping and makeup as that’s how I make my living. When I began to have more in depth talks with him and push back saying that though that’s what you see in me that’s not what makes a woman. I’m equal parts girl as I am tough I like bodybuilding, guns, trucks and other “masculine” things, and I love those things just as much or even more than I like my girl stuff. I find that men going through this are literally in an identity crisis and I had to tell him it’s okay to explore feminine things but that doesn’t men you need to “change” into a woman. I would constantly say why don’t you you explore being a man that wears make up or a man that doesn’t dress in what society deems appropriate for men. With the key of excepting the things about you that don’t fit into the norm of manliness but that doesn’t take from you being a man. The way I seen it is he’s not gay, not interested or attracted to men at all so why not embrace the complex man that you are instead of limiting dating and life options by doing something so drastic. I appreciate your comment and the original one
Gays are annoying too.
@@StormBringer5 Women do act silly and shallow though.
I am a fan of Ben, he is a softer version of Dr Peterson, but still very impactful. Get people talking and little interruption. Well done ! Kevin is incredibly talented !
Thank you to Benjamin Boyce and this young man. It's so important that these voices are heard. Xxxxx
It's disturbing how easily that active, stubborn boys are misdiagnosed with ADHD/APD. I'm a woman with both of those disorders and wasn't diagnosed until adulthood. It's strange how normal boy behavior is pathologized, while abnormal female behavior is often punished and left untreated.
Kevin! You play the bassoon very lovely. From one double reed player to another- thank you! I know very well how difficult it all is, and that was a lovely performance. Thank you for including it Benjamin!
I really appreciate how much laughter this guy has as part of his demeanour. It's wonderful to know that's possible in the midst of the maelstrom.
Wow this feels like one of the most important detransitioner episodes so far. Thank you so much Kevin for being so open and vulnerable with sharing your story.
We had bit of a break from the trans stories, so It will be good to be refocused on what is front and center of society today 😢Thank you, Kevin for sharing your story 🐈
You didn't like that British woman who loves the National Socialists?!
I really appreciated the last vid with Lesley, that whole idea of "if nobody gets to tell anyone else what to do or believe, how do you mould society towards being better for everyone?" has been rattling around my mind for ages. Great interview, as always Ben. Also, kudos to Kevin for getting better gradually, not letting this ideology destroy him, and working to improve himself. Double kudos for going into the trades. As someone who aims to go into the Electrical field once I am done with college next winter, this is inspiring to me. I dread ever working in a corporate environment due to how toxic and politicized and unmeritocratic it has become. I have also pretty much seen that guys who work in trades actually do more fulfilling, more skilled, beneficial and lucrative work in a less politicized environment.
That part made me yearn to get back to making stuff. I really need to block some time out to work on my handsewing and making the little things I've had in my head for ever. I feel so much better when I use my mitts!
@@meretriciousinsolent Great stuff, friend.
Truly wish the best for this young man. Admitting our mistakes, especially such profoundly life-altering mistakes, is never easy. He's done that with grace and I hope he lives long and prospers.
Everyone should read the book “As nature made him” about David Reiner a twin raised a girl because of a botched circumcision. Very heartbreaking for sure. David would be rolling in his grave if seeing what is happening now. He would be horrified 🥺🤬👺☠️👿
The most sickening thing is that story is used AS AN EXAMPLE OF SUCCESS to push this butchery in medical schools & colleges pushing the fake gender identity/ideology courses. Same with Kinsey - which if you look into the data gathered you see evidence of actual sexual child abuse of babies in there. That's the ONLY WAY they could have gotten their disgusting data to publish.
John MONEY basically abused both boys to the point they both ended up committing suicide.
It's a very sad story.
Both Reimer twins lives ended tragically because of the abuse they endured by Dr. John Money
David and his twin were molested and groomed by Dr. Money and both killed themselves.
Especially because the lies psychologist, John Money, who advocated for this course of action, told in reporting his 'research' as being a roaring success. He was a deeply damaged and warped individual who got himself into a position where he could experiment as he did to prove his theories about gender, masculinity and femininity (as divorced from actual sex). Many trans ideologues and activists either don't know or actively ignore the discredited and, frankly, warped, sick and abusive origins of their belief systems. Others actually applaud Money - hard to believe. He and the other "sexologist", Kinsey, were both child sexual abusers and quite sadistic with it. Sickening.
The way that woke has recently captured orchestrial music makes me think it is a class struggle more than a left eight struggle.
Kelly Jay Keen has raised this idea before. Woke being a "luxury" belief.
For real though. If one of your biggest "problems" is being "misgendered" you have it pretty good...
@@inkoftheworld For real if it bothered you because you had severe gender dysphoria then that would not be " pretty good".

Thanks for including the performance clip at the end, I loved seeing Kevin in his element with his bassoon.
It’s really lovely how his music was the cohesive force of self-identity throughout many paradigms and other forms of self-expression.
The second he said he was obsessed with playing bassoon as a middle school child my mind went to Asperger’s/autism
Why?
Beautiful bassoonery! ❤️👏❤️

please don't stop doing what you do so well. These interviews are very much needed and right on; the way you communicate with your guests and they with you. I appreciate these even more having these youth gender explorers in my company where I teach. We are not allowed to communicate with them about this subject and are told to be very aware and use the correct pronouns. It's even more difficult when one has a background in counseling :-( Fabulous insights every time. Thank you Ben and Kevin!
Wow, that performance at the end was amazing! I have a newfound respect for the bassoon!
I appreciate Kevin sharing his experience, but it seems he still has much masked pain to sift through. I don’t see much “levity” here but rather thinly veiled despair at what is and what can never be.
I don’t fault Kevin for this, of course- I think coming on here and being 100% vulnerable would be hard as hell, and he certainly doesn’t owe us a vulnerability that he might not have even forged with himself yet.
I don’t know. I feel sad for Kevin and I guess I just hope that he is working to grieve this all in his personal life, without the facade of hollow laughter to placate himself with.
Just remember Kevin… your feelings and your pain matter. It’s okay to not be okay, even though feeling not okay can be one of the worst feelings in the world. I hope you can continue to connect to your story and yourself as you further integrate your history into your current self-conceptualization. I hope too, that on the other side of grief, you are able to find peace and pride in what and who you truly are.
Wishing you the best life ever Kevin
Not to take away from Kevin at all. I'm glad he's on here. The more the better!! There's another guy who has a channel who has accepted he's stuck in detransition & is as honest as it gets about what took him to this point: Shapeshifter. He's flamboyant as heck, but honest about it all. Has guests as well who also discuss this awful situation. The more the word gets out about how it affects so many young people in so many ways the better. It's not just in American schools, it's also elsewhere but HERE they get "affirmed" whether parents know or not more & more under liberalism. Blaire White has guests with different perspectives too. She transitioned & is happy about it but is STILL learning about the dangers of the drugs that doctors never told her about and she didn't just jump into it like they're doing to children now. She has guests who also discuss detranzing & the war against them. It's really a cult of hate.

1:23 what value does trans bring the world.
I think effeminate men and masculine women bring humour and a generosity of spirit to the world. This is one of the greatest values the margins give us.
Challenging borders and assumed understandings of situations remind us not to be so arrogant. Loki was more than a clown, he was a trickster.
The trick now, is realizing that the majority of people encompasse traits of both sexes. Those men and women who are extremely masculine or extremely feminine in all areas are the anomoly.
We all have a bit (or a lot) of masculinity and femininity, it's normal! The problem is woke people are making it an identity issue.
I do think trans people allow us push the boundaries of masculinity in women and femininity in men. It doesn’t mean that anyone is changing genders. But I think it helps other people find more freedom of expression.
These people are so brave, and they are cult survivors, I've heard this many times listening to these traumatic stories. The truth is truly the thing that makes us free and open for healing ❤ 🙏 God bless Kevin and you Benjamin for giving these people a voice.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5 🌷🤲
Amen!

I've been following your channel since you've started talking about Evergreen. I watch nearly all of your detrans content now. You are doing great work.
There are many common threads in these stories. One that I keep noticing is the seeming unprofessional and downright ridiculous way that healthcare "professionals" have gone along with this hysteria. (I understand the etymology of the word and didn't choose it to be cheeky, hysteria is the best word I can come up with).
Who will ever pay for this?
I know that we, in the solzhenitsyn sense, are all responsible for this. But, the people who head our medical ethics boards, along with our universities and boards of education are, in my eyes, criminal. I'm not saying that we should put them all in prison, because that wouldn't happen. Not ever.
But these people need to be permanently removed from power and prestige.
It isn't up to me to decide what they deserve, but they need to gtfo.

And all needlessly, all because he didn’t seek out conventional or appropriate therapy, instead the system enabled him to transition without question or proper analysis. Even as he tells us all this, he still can’t give us the facts about the molestation that could help so many other victims out there - he just skimmed over it (although there is a huge link to drug abuse, molestation, and trans).

This is a brilliant interview.Enraging and insightful.
An accomplished musician AND an electrical engineer? Having such different skillsets that many people only find themselves able to focus on one or the other...that's really cool, Kevin. I'm really sorry that you found yourself unwelcome in the more artistic community, colleges and orchestras and I really hope you're still able to just play for the pure enjoyment. The world will never be short of guys who know how to fix electrics (my other half studied electrical engineering himself and I feel so much more safe and secure knowing he's on the case in our house!) though, so lots of luck to you in your new field of employment, and thank you for taking the time to share your story with Ben. Probably only that Exulansic looks into the reality of the damage done by medical transition. She focuses on the science of hormones and surgery in some gruesome detail.
It's really refreshing to hear someone so honest with themselves. I think we need more people like that in general.
Thank you for being so honest and open. So glad to hear at the end that you've found your path. It always seems interesting to me that when I listen to detransitioners I hear honesty and genuineness. 9:00 I would have hoped that the only gatekeeping around concert bassoonists would be talent. Instead of politics or reputation (other than reputation of talent). 🙁
Must be all of those pesky US high school marching bands! - more bassoonists per capita compared to other nations ?
It was usually class and access to opportunity and education.
There aren't enough tears. In sorrow or joy, his tender voice loudly rings like warning bells. Yet again, I'm reminded of Richie Herron's heartbreaking story.
True words - parasitic, lemmings off a cliff, cult, driven by big money & bigger narcissistic egos.
How people can watch what is happening and not see this 🌈 embodiment as the demonic blood & sex sacrifice cult that it is, mind-boggling.
This young man is ripe to connect with his Creator 👑
Kevin, you're still a bassoonist :) It's a rare thing to be virtuoso at an instrument, and music is a thing that can help others too, it doesn't have to be an ego thing. I hope you write some tunes, and that you continue teaching in some capasity.
You can see how well his embouchure is developed from how he speaks & smiles - Double Reed Club 4 Lyfe!
Quite the ending! What a lovely man.
A big thank you to Kevin for being so willing to speak as clearly as he can at this stage about his experience (his own understanding of it is, judging by some of his responses, understandably, incomplete). And thank you Benjamin for being a great interviewer. Your focus is clearly on listening and not speaking, which is clearly demonstrated by your ability to linger on the interviewee having completed what they said for 5, 6 maybe 10 seconds and not feel the immediate urge to speak (or at least not exhibiting the urge). This conversation is as terrifying as it is illuminating.

Thanks for the honesty both, thanks for the interaction, but as an adult living on 2023, I'm revulsed on how this works, I'm revulsed of so much abuse, attack, control and manipulation.
I agree so many young kids and young adults are being let down by so called caring psychologists and the trans community and misguided adults. It's very toxic and it's an awful time for youngsters. They are being manipulation.
Kevin's insight re: self-awareness now is more developed than most people will reach in a lifetime. I wish him further expansion, and also joy. Big hug *

That giggle came often at inappropriate time, it’s a psychological tell; it’s not a good sign. Kevin still has far to go psychologically to understand himself and his impulses and it seems he suspects that as well.

The beginning put thoughts in my head of "here kitty kitty kitty." Ok, now I'll listen to the show.
The title is so accurate it's a mask over you're real body and sex, it's a surgery husk like Frankenstein syndrome.
It is great to hear that you have been saved from the horrible "Gender ideology" and all the terrible unnecessary drugs and surgery that were destroying your body.
You are beautiful and worthwhile and accepted and valued as a woman and that is worth celebrating.
I hope you have a wonderful life and use your story to stop any other people from being coerced, seduced, tricked or forced into damaging their body (and mind) to try to change their "Gender" to validate the evil authoritarian "Gender ideology".
Interesting to look at the different reactions to the hormones; males experience depression on the estrogen and females experience euphoria and aggression on the testosterone.

God bless this man having the courage to share his story. Hopefully it helps people male & females in right direction away from evil trans agenda. 👿☠️😡
Not all the LBGT communities are against detransition. I understand what's happening and don't believe children should transition. You still have support over here. It's not us or them.
Thanks for your story.

Thanks!
