Hi, I am not able to run the simulation - I paint the lines - but then when i press the play button (or Alt+a) the animation runs but nothing happens... what am I doing wrong?
I changed some settings in the meanwhile. You should find a dedicated panel under Data menu in the Properties panel (same for vertex groups, shape keys, etc). In that dedicated panel you should find "Run Reaction-Diffusion". By default is off.
Thanks for your reply Hogan... are you able to run the simulation? I am not able to run the simulation - I paint the lines - but then when i press the play button (or Alt+a) the animation runs but nothing happens... what am I doing wrong?
Press start reaction in the Tissue Tools tool bar, then paint, then press alt+a. If you paint before doing the start reaction, it doesn't seem to work. When you start painting after pressing alt+a it causes Blender to crash (at least for me).

It Looking Cool!
this is soo awesome😎👍!!
wow! could you use an alpha to get the start point instead of painting?
@Chance Jorge they have Blender tutorials?
I don't have these menu tabs after installing. Nothing for reaction diffusion or any of the other options. Any idea what's up?
Nevermind. Got it.
I too can't find it - downloaded master from github and but can't see the RD menu- how did you manage to get it?
I can't recall what the exact fix was, but I'm pretty sure it was just making sure I had the most up-to-date nightly build of blender.
