Good morning. I'm glad that you appreciate our efforts but believe me when I say that we are a very long way from home . We simply need to maintain forward progress as every step gets us closer.
      Thanks for your encouragement.

Lookin good brother. You see how good things are going and you have to keep reminding yourself how far you said you were willing to go with this project. You kind of have to put blinders on to the things that you said you weren't going to fix.
You're almost to the point where you need quarters and to put a roof on it.........

Ah Ha!!! so you feel my pain. I couldn't have said this better myself. This entire project is beginning to grow into its own. Sometimes I just sit there and let Mr Jones Talk to me.... You're 100% right. I'll look in the tool box for those "blinders" you speak of. I often forget to put them on.
We will be patching the lower quarters for sure but we will NOT be replacing the roof. I cannot bring myself to go backwards.
Thanks as always for watching and for playing along.

    Goodday Stevo,
As Australia's number 1 Oldsmobile Fan & the W 31 is my all time favourite especially the 1968 & having every year W machine including 31's as diecast this is so honourable of you saving this 31.
So many people wouldn't know what a W 31 is & how unique & rare they are.
After following Mecum for over 7 year just recently the first W 31 went up for auction & maybe the last time too.
Great work buddy yes been a subscriber long time watching the progress.
    Cheers

Good morning Louis.!! Glad to hear back from you!!!! man this is so cool that we have a viewer and a MR Jones fan from this far away!! If you haven't already , take a look at our previous video. It's all about my F-85 W-31. I think you'll find that interesting. Sometimes I'm surprised at how many W-31's are still out there. It's encouraging for sure. This one was oh so dangerously close to simply getting forgotten for good or worse....
Thanks for watching and we greatly appreciate your interest .

Woah! I'm very humbled to read this comment!! Every step of the project ( along with the efforts on this channel) have been discussed and considered over and over again. It's a big help to know when folks agree with or at least understand our strategies. Sometimes it really is the little wins that get us ready to tackle the next big challenge. Thank you so much for tuning in.

Wow what a lil color will do, quite impressive especially when you hold that old cancerous piece up to it as well as the dash, truly impressive. The Rolling Stones song....time is on my side.....where's the merch?

Ha I'm telling you.....The color was just the additional motivation that I needed. This is the very first versions of our shop merch. Can't thank my terrific friends enough for helping get these printed. Seems we're getting a pretty strong response so far!!
I guess we need to start taking that seriously.....
