For your Rock sample it should be cutted in shape. Transducers will be hold two opposite side as used in direct method. What will be the path length it will be set in instrument. There are different transducer ranges from 24 KHz to 500 KHz. As per application transducers also be choosed. You can contact me for details to [e-mail] & 08584925725
