    Thanks WB.I have been looking at your tuts as I was doing a freelance project and I was about to render with redshift but the shots are like thousands of frames long so I cant afford to render it online so I was coming back to my UE to do realtime rendering and now I am so glad I decided to pursue this workflow as it seems to be working real good. Appreciate your efforts and dedications toward c4d and UE.

    Definitely need a video on how to use this for the sequencer cuz a lot of us aren't making games we want to use it for the render engine and for cinemaics for Dj's live performance and netflix intros and other cool stuff.

    I really appreciate your videos, could you tell me if I can use some type of material to render a 4D cinema project in unreal or if there is any limitation of some type of material that does not work?

    • @JonathanWinbush
      @JonathanWinbush  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yup only Cinema 4d Standard and RedShift materials will work when using the Cineware method but it's not always 100%
      Best course of action is just to texture in Unreal right now

    Hey Winbush, thanks for this!... I was wondering, you showed your VBD was 12GB.... What's the max GB you could import into UE5 without getting errors or crashing? Like have you pushed the limits on it?

    • @JonathanWinbush
      @JonathanWinbush  4 месяца назад +1

      Hmm I'm not sure what the limit would be but I bet it probably depends more on your PC specs. I'm not 100% sure but I think it'll be based off your gpu vram

    How can a vdb exported from the Cinema4d program be positioned exactly in Unreal Engine if it has to fit an element also exported from there? Thanks!

    • @JonathanWinbush
      @JonathanWinbush  6 месяцев назад

      it should use the transform position of your vdb

    Isn't this is giant file though? Like if you were using these in a game setting, how do you get the vdb files smaller?

    • @JonathanWinbush
      @JonathanWinbush  8 месяцев назад

      Vdb are typically used for cinematic rendering. If you want gameplay you'd use the unreal Niagara part particles
