I just discovered you on Twitter yesterday, thanks to Francesco D'Alessio's tweet. Your notion 's templates are incredible, your tutorials too. I just setup this one I'm so happy, thanks man.
this is literal gold. is there a way to create a shortcut to take in daily number inputs. on my database im trying track my weight loss progress and i tried messing with the advanced shortcut features but im not that good yet. i was trying pass the number through as a string but that wasnt working.
For those with the Error 401: API Token is invalid, check the "Dictionary". Click the "Internal" and press your right arrow on your keyboard and check what it says. It should say "Internal Integration Token", not "Internal Integration Secret" (which is what is indicated in Notion's integrations page). I changed that and now it works!
I've tried going through the steps a few times and it is still not working. I keep getting a Habit error: 400. I am trying to do this through my Iphone. I think it has something to do with the create habit JSON Body portion and it looks like quite a few people are having this problem. Maybe it’s due to notion updates?

Hello :) ! Your help is just wonderful, I’m discovering your content, thank you so much ! I’m wondering how this template can works with the match of the « created date » and not the classic input date of the database. I try to edit the template but I don’t success. If you have some tips, it will be magic. ❤️
Watching this only now. It was very helpful :) how can we make 'select multiple' from 'choose from list' work as well? It seems to work only if I choose one option. I'd like to check all the habits at once rather than run the shortcut again. Thanks!
That is doable but unfortunately the Shortcut would need to be restructured and I don't have a particular guide that I can point you to which explains how to do that at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to create one in the future.
Hi! Thank you for your sharing. I've followed all of your guide, and linked DB and shorcuts. But each time I click on the shortcut, a new page is created. So there are multiple pages on the same date. What should I do? Please help.
Hey there, I'm trying to do it and I get this error: Response was {"status":400,"object":"error","code":"missing_version","message":"Notion-Version header failed validation: Notion version header should be '\"2021-05-11\"','\"2021-05-13\"','\2021-08-16"','\2022-02-22\"', or '\"2022-06-28\"', instead was '\"\"'."}.
Hi, could you make sure that there's a row for the API Version in your Shortcut's settings (the date should be 2022-06-28). If you're not sure where to look or how to add that, it might be easiest to download the Shortcut and set it up again, as that's definitely included in the template.
Hey! Thanks so much for this ready-made shortcut and well-explained guide, it's really something I didn't know I needed until now. It had me thinking though- is there a way to edit this to record the time something was chosen rather than a checkbox? I would like to expand on this and log my waking/sleeping times with an NFC tag if possible. Thanks!
Hey, glad you found it useful! Yes, that’d be fairly straightforward, as long as you’re happy switching from checkboxes to time stamps for all habits? If so, please remind me to get back to you tomorrow
@@aNotioneer Yes, I'm intending to use timestamps for all habits within this shortcut. I'm thinking I'll keep the first one separate for checkboxes, and then a second one that's only timestamps. Thank you for your help!
@@sarveshgupta9924 No worries, try this www.icloud.com/shortcuts/119a7411cff94f3485d3a3476a8ec339. The Progress formula would be round((if(not empty(prop("Woke Up")), 1, 0) + if(not empty(prop("Went To Bed")), 1, 0)) / 2 * 100) / 100 for 2 date / time based properties.

Hi, you need to connect your Shortcut to your own internal integration, which you'll then see in the list of available connections. I explain how to create an internal integration at 0:44. Hope that helps!
I do not know why, but it is not working on my side. It says: - Could not evaluate the key path. In "", no value was found for dictionary key 'results' - Can you help me?!
You'd usually see that sort of error if either: the API doesn't have access to your database or the names of your properties don't match the names in the Settings section of the Shortcut (Title Name / Date Name). In case it's the first problem, double check that you've entered the right Internal Integration Token in the Settings, the right Database ID and that your database is shared with the integration that you created, via the Connections menu. I hope that helps, just let me know if you have any questions.

If you haven’t switched to that type of date since you downloaded the Shortcut then I expect it’s controlled by a different setting but I’m not sure which one I’m afraid. If you have then the easiest way to fix the issue is probably to just download a new copy of the Shortcut.

A year later, hoping to get some help:
An error shows up > {"status":401,"object":"error","code":"unauthorized","message":"API token is invalid"}
I'm running into the same issue. I really hope there's a fix!
Every time I run the shortcut I get “create habit error :401” I have ensured that I have entered all the correct details, any idea how to fix?
I no longer see the shortcut link itself! Any chance you have that shortcut link? Or a guide on how it was built?
