I love the Best Christmas Pageant Ever! I read it out loud many years ago to my kids, and they loved it. Some of these are new to me, but some of the books are my favorite! My TBR continues to grow...
Yay! Oh, Kate, I'm super excited to re-read The Lion in the Box with you! 😍❤💚 I love the idea of rereading favorite books in December. Besides the book we're reading together, I'll be rereading Letters to Father Christmas, Winter Solstice, parts of Little Women, The Nutcracker, The Night Before Christmas, Miss Read's Christmas Mouse and Village Christmas, Cranberry Christmas and The Christmas Hirelings. I've loved the Last Christmas in Paris and Noel Streatfeild's Christmas Stories, too. I'm actually reading The Thirteen Days of Christmas right now - soo good 🤩 Your list is wonderful and I'll be adding some of these books to my Christmas TBR. I have a few vintage 'A Regency Christmas' romances and one that I read over and over when I was in my 20s called A Victorian Christmas by Patricia Gaffney. Three vintage books I would highly recommend if you haven't read them before are The Christmas Doll by Elvira Woodruff, The Bird's Christmas Carol by Kate Douglas Wiggin and The Happiest Christmas Day by May Greenwood. Happy December Reading and Many Hugs! 🤗🌸💕
Oh I have quite a few of these on my list as well! I read another book by Sally Britton earlier this year and was surprised by how much i enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to trying one of her Christmas novellas.
Wonderful list of rereads, Kate! 😊 Your copy of Little Women is pretty. I love The Best/Worst Christmas Pageant. It is so funny. I also love Skipping Christmas. That is another funny book, and the movie is great as well. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is my favorite book ever. Happy Reading and Rereading! 😊
Ahhhhhh a Kate video!! I'm looking forward to all of our patron/kindred spirits reads!! I don't know if I've watched Christmas with the Kranks but I'll try it for sure this year.
The Lion in the Box is Wonderful! It was in our local library when our children were young and I would read it to them every year. Then it disappeared from the library 😢and I spent years searching for a reasonably priced copy online and finally found one a few years ago. Looking forward to reading it to our granddaughter this year. 🙂
Kate, this might be the most Christmasy pile of books I’ve seen on booktube! 🎄So many beautiful editions! I won’t get much time to read at Christmas because of visiting family but I’m sure my nieces and nephews will have me watching all the Christmas movies!
Hmm, so many. Any iteration of A Christmas Carol including Scrooged, Elf, The Man Who Invented Christmas, Love Actually, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and of course, Home Alone!
Ahhhh..Nice...Hello Kate...Ok so I'm definitely going to read 13 days of Christmas, missed doing so last year and Skipping Christmas is another definite..Thank you Kate for the sweet holiday festive video, wouldn't be the same without you this time of year especially 😊
Hey, Kate, mentioning this a bit late, however, there is a new Narnia series/movie for Netflix in the works approved by the C.S. Lewis Company!! Fingers crossed it’s one we can add to our life softening lists!
Thank you so much for continuing to mention your faith in videos! It's really encouraging to see :) Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these books in your wrap up :)
Really want to re read some books and some I havnt read before like I have chirstmas Carol and little woman if though I have them .I enjoy watching this .some mysteries but not sure what yet.thanks Kate for this ❤
I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of this version of Little Women! Maybe you can show us some of the letters in your wrap up? Wink, wink, nudge, nudge 😆
Thank you Kate 🎄you mentioned several of my favorites that I reread each year and some unfamiliar titles which I want to add to my list. Currently, I am reading Little Women with Miranda Mills book club. Such a charming story! I appreciate the shorter books that you highlight so I can actually read more than just a couple long novels. Overall, a festive collection 🎄❄️✨
I'd love to watch along with you for a couple of the Little Women movies, if you're interested! I just listened to Frindle by Andrew Clements and loved it, so I will add The Last Holiday Concert to my TBR. Looking forward to The Wednesday Wars discussion! I've never read any John Grisham before, but I'm intrigued by Skipping Christmas. I think I might also try The Thirteen Days of Christmas!
Wonderful pile! I’m still searching for my Christmas/winter-y reads 😂, but I’m definitely trying Last Christmas in Paris…the audio has SO many holds 😢so maybe I’ll just read it.
Gosh that's quite a selection. I don't think I could read so many cosy things in one month though. I'd be yearning for a bit of grimness or grubbiness 😅
I am glad you are joining us for Remember December. That copy of Little Women looks gorgeous! It will make great rereading. 😁

I love the BBC adaptation of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe! I've bought my nephew the book for Christmas.
Isn't it so cozy? I love the soundtrack too. It's wonderful to help carry the love of Narnia into the next generation!

It definitely us more challenging to get reading time when family is visiting. What are your favorite Christmas movies?

I follow Miranda as well as Kate. I was planning to FINALLY read Little Women. So with all this motivation, I should get it read.
did I miss the Love and Death Among the Cheetahs mention? I am not sure it is Christmas? I am going down the list and adding to my Amazon cart LOL

🤣 The mysteries will hopefully help to balance things out!
