I really want to read The Enchanted April! And I loved both the James Herriot and North and South romances! Although I wished the ending of North and South would have been a little less abrupt, I wanted more ;)
I think you would really enjoy it!...I'm so glad you like both North and South and the James Herriot books. I agree about the ending of North and South being abrupt and really like the ending the miniseries gave it.
The BBC North & South miniseries is my favorite historical, romantic movie and has my favorite romantic ending ever! I started but DNFed the book a few years ago, but I plan to try again and listen to the audiobook this year.
Excellent list! I adore Georgie and Darcy from the Royal Spyness series. It's one of the few series that I am completely caught up on and I can't wait for the next one coming out in August. I think it's called Love and Death Among the Cheetahs. The covers draw me in as much as the stories!
Thank you so much for this video Kate! I want more romance like The Rose Garden, lovely romance that slowly grows is for me. Im really excited to get to all of these.
Happy Valentine's Day Kate! What a great video! I might do a "Valentine's Day Routine" video but idk. This was great because so many couples in this list I hadn't heard of but others I love and then some I had heard of but not read about yet. I was so happy that you included Anne and Gilbert because they really are each other's soulmates. And John and Margaret! John Thornton for next is just so much better than Mr Darcy 😉. I always forget though that you didn't like N&S the first time around, so glad it won you over! Have a lovely Valentine's Day 😄💕📚
I have so many of these on my kindle already! Need to get to them ASAP.
Downloading The Enchanted April onto my kindle right now!
Yay! I hope you enjoy it!

@@katehowereads I haven't seen the miniseries yet, but I definitely want to and am very curious to see what they made of the ending!

I can see how you would DNF it, it has really odd pacing and it can be off putting. I hope you end up enjoying the book upon another try!

Thank you! I'm still fairly behind in the series and will be so so sad when I end up catching up! It's one of my absolute favorite mystery series.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Rose Garden! I hope you're able to find some new favorites from this list.
Thanks for the great suggestions for romantic reads!
I want to read all of these 😍
