Virginia USA - I got a texture release back in December and I am loving the freedom that it has given me. I had 4C low porosity hair that shrank 75% and now it's more of a 4A/B and medium to high porosity and about only 25% shrinkage. Detangling after shampooing is no longer an issue. What I really love is knowing that if I want my 4C low porosity hair back, I can get it back with no issues or damage. I have the Keratin Complex treatment and it was $150. My hair stylist did a lot of research and used it on herself and her daughter first before offering it to her clients.
I like that her natural texture was still intact but it helped a lot with shrinkage

I understand your sentiments Jennifer. We are in a new age. The knowledge and resources are readily available to help our hair thrive. Adjunct the cancerous chemicals from these harsh relaxers that seep into the scalp. It makes sense why you so insistent for your clients to separate from this.

Wow! That’s a lot of hair! She described my hair to a tee. My hair has so many textures. It grows in straight in my crown. Then it’s curly at the nape and kinky mixed on my sides. When I was working I wore it pull back in a bun! It grew a lot during that time.

Mine was the same. I did a Brazilian Blowout from You Tube a few years ago and never looked back. I have to do a root touch up every 3 to 6 months depending on how fast it grows, but I love it. ❤

Same here, where I come from women are taught from a very young age to do their own hair. I’ve only done salons after university and at the time I was relaxed but after 2 years I started doing my own hair again till now. I haven’t had a salon wash since 2010 but I was relaxed till 2016. Shaved my hair off and started the natural journey. I am now 22 inches rich and grateful of natural hair. I really want this texture release because it takes 6 hours to do my hair, luckily I only do it once every 2 months that is wash and blowout. Sound’s cross but it’s what kept me motivated staying natural. I just need the texture release due to my single strand knots so I can hold on to my length even more.

Watching from Saudi Arabia but I’m South African. Thank you for posting, I was always wondering if one can just do the treatment with a blowout and skip the flat iron cos usually I do not flat iron my hair.
It be nice to see a follow up first wash after the treatment but with the hair completely dry.

I’ve watched other girls get this treatment and the stylists are super rough with their hair and do not section the hair through each step.

I'm a relaxed person and I was natural and I can't . It's to much work and my hair isn't long it's past my ears. I learned a great deal about my hair and how to take care of it while natural and I still use those techniques on my relaxed hair. So I feel it's just a personal preference .

This girl is me, in UK form. 😢 I hate wash days, and 3 hours is the minimum time it takes me, so I feel her pain. I have to break “washing day” into three days. We have the same hair, except… mine has way more horrible fluff underneath. I would love to have my hair done by Ms. Cynthia but alas, I live in the US. I’ve done this at home. It def takes the frizz out of hair but doesn’t loosen the curl pattern. I also didn’t blow it dry and flat iron with heat….
The blow dry and flat iron activates the product. Without heat you are just wasting products
@@PassionfruitNectar agree! so ive done both...but i dont wear my hair straight very often, I find that I like the benefits of the project most for protein...so I set with heat for 40 min (as recommended) and then after either rollerset or I blow dry and style. Again thats just me, I am considering wearing my hair straight more often so I may do it as the instructions say.
