Who’s here after the lakeshow picked him up
Hard to imagine him not averaging 15-20 a game in the league. Can play on and off ball efficiently and should be a top 10 pick despite his age.
In a year of great draft uncertainty he stands out physically, touch and as we saw at the end of the last game, a feel for driving to the basket. A lot of these foreign kids seem thin but not exceptionally quick. Some of the bottom teams are likely to choose unwisely. As a long-time OKC freak, if Sam trades up, I’m in. If he trades down, I’m in.

Couple of other options I’d love for them is Dillion Jones and Daron Holmes as well.
Okc rarely misses in the draft.
@@jordandaher9652 You never know who the teams ahead will choose or ignore. And if wants to go after someone Sam has the ammunition to pursue him. Not a great draft but likely a good one for us. I’d be surprised if Sam is not looking hard at Ron Holland. He has OKC written all over him.

The sets Okc run pretty much always require all 5 players on the court being able to shoot it.
@@jordandaher9652 I understand but he is very young and like Chip has done with Josh and Lu his shooting can definitely improve. I like his quickness, size and motor. And this is not an elite year. If Sam snares him I assume he will have done his homework. We’ll get a good player.

I see him as a star in the league ,he should be the first pick overall best all around game of all prospects can catch and shoot from three,good midrange game ,can play in the paint,is not afraid to drive into the paint,can finish with both hands,good reading defense and moving without the ball,not afraid of contact.reminds me of a younger durant

@@anthonycraner9999 he’s nowhere near Luka😂 Be real dude, yes he’s more athletic than Bojan, but you don’t know his game if you think Bojan is just a 3pt shooter. He’s averaged over 20 for a couple seasons, he creates his offense off the dribble as well.

@@KingAyr Actually 5 years. The covid rule gave him a extra year. And good thing, because he wouldn't have had that one great year at Tennessee without it. So...in the future, if anyone ever asks you if anything good came out of Covid.........

Spurs would be smart to draft castle at 4 and knecht at 8, The best scorer in the draft in knecht and a potential elite 2 way player in castle.

How did he go so deep in the 1st round? I'm not a Lakers fan but this seems like a steal. After watching Reed Sheppard highlights...lol good luck Houston. I don't seem RS being much more than an ok bench player. No length, really good shooter which I guess Houston needs but he's not taking anyone off the dribble in the NBA. I guess Knecht's age was a problem? He looks damn polished to me with an A tier shot making ability. Most of the other picks seemed pretty legit, but of course it's always hard to predict anything in the NBA draft aside from usually a couple of studs. :)

@@ericperales4505 you keep referencing this celtics team, when everybody that can play on that celtic’s team defends. The last 5 nba champions finished in the top 3-5 defensively. The celtics were top 2 defensively this year. How can you be a spur’s fan and say defense doesn’t matter? Lol I’m a warrior fan and our defense was elite whenever we won championships. Our defense has stunk the last 2 years, especially without draymond and we were mediocre. In 2022, the defense was elite and was historically great before dray got hurt. When he was injured, their defense was horrendous and they went .500 in that span dray was out. You’re out of your mind. Any time the celtic’s played great defense this series , they won the game. Last game the celtic’s played horrendous defense and got annihilated . Your guys defense was terrible last year and it’s kept you in the lottery. 2 way players> one way defensively terrible players. Sick of people saying defense doesn’t matter when 2 way team always won championships since the start of basketball and great offensive teams with terrible defense always get exposed come playoff time or are in the lotterey

He looks better than Reaves by a good bit, especially when he gets a season under his belt. Far better range of shots, longer, more athletic. I'm not saying they should ditch Reaves (they need shooters ffs) but he cannot be your 3rd best player and expect to do squat in the NBA playoffs.
His looks and shooting reminds me of Luka doncic he could definitely be the next Luka doncic with less passing lol and boy I would love if the pistons drafted him if they get screwed as usual in the lottery and drop to fourth or fifth again
He doesn’t have that size. Luka is a big boy and extremely crafty.
I realize he’s taller but he’s like Grayson Allen type of player. Solid starter that can get you 20+ any given night.
