Should’ve done the subs together in one chamber and then done the port. Now the subs have slightly different airspace so they will play slightly different which effects sound quality and spl
I'm pushing a Hyundai Santa Cruz, it's a first gen so there's no aftermarket anything for it and I miss the boom boom from my truck that im definitely custom making a box with 4 8" subs, thanks for the info!
Ok you got my attention. Been looking for something like this for my 2021 Silverado custom. I'm a huge baashead. This'might be an alternative instead of taking the back seats out too wall off my back for subs. Haha. Like and subscribed
The problem was i couldnt find a good balance between having enough port area for the subs requirements and getting the tuning where i wanted it. Definitely a sacrifice.
In theory I’ve never made box before trying make one for mine but if not wanted a single could close the port on the longer side if speakers only going one side ? I’d like still have storage

You should custom build boxes like this and sell them. Looks good by the way
Lol no...
So will 18.5 degrees work on a larger enclosure
Hi my name is Robert ,I’m trying to see if u can make a box for two 12 inch woofer for a 2010 Silverado crew cab with the port.
Awesome thanks man I was curious if mdf would be a good option

Thx for the tips.. I will see what I can do with my single 12 inch JL sub..
hi, can you advise please, between this design with the front port or rear ports design , im using only 2 8", thank you !
What tools would you say would
All be needed ? Would like to get into doing this
Did this go into a 2500
On the bottom you said one end was 14.75 and the other 14" , Is that a typo?
I think that mesurment was a typo. 14.75 is bigger then the other side
Yep just figured that out the hard way. Should have read every comment first. 🤦♂️
Could I fit (2) 8” sub kicker comp r under seat box in a 2020 crewcab
How did you achieve your initial angle?
Which subs hit harder, the skars or cts?
How thick was the blade you were using to cut the wood
Do you still need the seat lift
What is the specs of the box cubic feet? And tuning?
how many inches does it have in the front height?

It gets down too! I used to have a wall with 4 15s in an 07 silverado back in the day!
Nice built 🙊🙉🙈 I just learned a lot...
how much to build one ???
Is this with a 2.5 seat lift kit?
No seat lift at all!
I dunno about that unequal lenght port. Probably messes up the tuning. Should have made 90 degree corners on them
Yeah i agree but at the time it was what i decided lol. Ive been debating a front side port and doing 2 much more powerful 8s.
The problem was i couldnt find a good balance between having enough port area for the subs requirements and getting the tuning where i wanted it. Definitely a sacrifice.
Go with 1 aero port on each side of the box firing into the doors

How many sheet did u need to build it
1
Have 2020 trail boss bout to do it to it.... 4 10"s that's gonna bass
Did you do it?
Nice man thanks for the help
Nice work
Mystery stagger port technology.😂...still nice for DYI...but so many issu es
will not fit crewcab 2500,s for sure seats are lower.
Didn’t know youtube had dm’s.
That boxes life will be very short lived being made of particle board if you use decent subs.
Mdf is not particle board bro
Cameras in a video box
You used the wrong wood. Either use birch ply or mdf not particle
Umm, he did use MDF.......lol.......
@@912firefighterhe used particle board idiot . Mdf is more dense than what he is using. It’s smoother with fine wood dust.
That’s not mdf that’s particle board. Anyone watching don’t use that lol. It’s like the cheap target furniture that can’t hold a fastener.
that is not enough air space for sound quality, poor video
👍👍
