I love your videos. very clear, precise and you don't skip steps. you have a way teaching that isn't so common on you tube. I know almost nothing about fabricating enclosures and such but Im confident that by following your videos I cant make something that's top quality, your videos are just that easy to understand. the fact you list, and link, materials and tools used is just that much more comprehensive.
Another great video. I'm in the process of building a ported box for a 15 and was wanting to add a window to display the magnet without inverting. Keep it up my man!
Somehow, I knew you had a video on this topic and you were the first suggested video after searching for this topic. You have been more than helpful once again! Thank you! Cheers, be safe, and stay healthy!
Good morning my friend, I'm Brazilian and I really like your videos, I'm really delighted with the work of you. I would like to request a video of how you make the fabric covering on embossed pieces. If it's possible, I'm very grateful. a hug
Looks great but it takes up space inside the box. Is there a way to fit the plexi/acryllic flush from the inside? I assume you could run a rabbiting bid around the inside edge but how would you match that size with the size of the acryllic?
Does plexiglass effect the performance of the sub and box? For a while I thought it would because there is "glass" amongst all of the would which would either rattle or cause the sound to resonate differently.
Hey Mark, my name is Mike and l have a project that lm having a problem with so if you or anybody else that can help l need it. I have two projects no one can’t do. 1. I have a “Orion Hcca 181 SPLX 18” 20,000 watts 7,500rms and l need the specs for the subwoofer. 2. For that much power what Amp can push 7,500 rms. If someone knows please help!
What’s up I know you do a lot of car audio installation can you do a video explaining the proper hardware to install a subwoofer in a subwoofer box as far as the screws especially if you’re using a competition subwoofer which is very heavy
Great DIY support. Attempting a two sub car audio to at home conversion.. Any recommendation if I make a straight plexiglass wall? For full visibility?
Hey, love your videos. I have a question. Im attempting a false wall build in a frs. any advice on air tight sealing in areas you cant perfectly cut for on the sides? ive heard of expanding foam but wanted your take i want a professional or atleast a clean look.. also. I was thinking about using a (probably single maybe dual) high power 8" like dc m38 or x-8. Do you think that would be good or should i go for a 10" or 12" in such a small cabin.
I would like too know what city your in to get a build done when I finish getting all the products I want in the system I love the custom work you do and would like to have a couple systems done by you if it could be possible thanks
Any sound quality reasons why I couldn't omit the plexiglass viewing window & cover with wood & carpet entire outer box with carpeting to hide enclosure?
6:04 I would think a perfectionist such as yourself would be using the following tool (Idk the name) if I remeber correctly from my childhood, you can buy a small donut looking tool that attaches to your drill bit and tightens/clamps onto it using an allen screw, attaching it to the specified height in order to prevent you from drilling too deep for those threaded inserts.
Hey Mark do you have a video on stacked chamfered technics ? I've wanted to learn that I forgot to ask Bryan when I took his class . I have an idea of how it works but not certain thanks again
Currently im building a box that im using your other video to make a glowing logo. I was just wondering if you could please clear something up for me, where would i hook my wires for the l.e.d strip, to the car amp??
Looks great! I've never thought of angling the gasket cuts like that to prevent leaks. Great tip!
best car audio channel in the world, by far!
That is a gorgeous window!
Awesome vid, clear and easy to understand ;-)
+Dereck BigDWiz Thank you BigDWiz!

OOOOOOLD schoolstereodotcom!

WOW! It's amazing how the correct tools can make or brake a project. I have made several Acrylic windows and none were that easy nor that nice.
I've been watching these videos as well as the CT Sound videos and they're amazing. This is some very impressive craftsmanship.
After watching this vid, I now know how to better my custom box in my trunk. Thank you Mark 👈😎👉
I don't really have a need or the tools to do this... but every time I watch this video I'm tempted to incorporate a window in my future box design.
This guy really is a genius
this video has come up at the perfect time. just about to start a box with acrylic face.
Another great video. I'm in the process of building a ported box for a 15 and was wanting to add a window to display the magnet without inverting. Keep it up my man!

Gut gemacht 👍👍👍👌
Good job guy👍

Top notch work Brother, very cool technique.
+Tim datoolman Thanks Tim!
You are awesome sir Mark👍. Take care,✌out
+2BASS IS 2SLAP Thanks for watching!
my hero
Very nice!
Man if I had the money for all the tools needed to get crazy custom I’d do it just for fun
Mark, so if you were to use plexiglass for a whole piece of your box. You would suggest no less then 3/4” cast ?
I would highly advise using acrylic specific drill bits. I drill a lot of the stuff for my day job.
+thephranc Yes definitely, the ones I used in the video worked awesome, they are linked here: www.caraudiofabrication.com/#!acrylic-viewing-window/cw2
Do you have any videos on installing plexiglass without using a router and the fancy equipment like the templates and extra layer of wood?
amazing!!!
Does plexiglass effect the performance of the sub and box? For a while I thought it would because there is "glass" amongst all of the would which would either rattle or cause the sound to resonate differently.
nice bro great work
Awesome thanks

awesome 👌👏
thats awesome work :O ..
Is 1/4" plexi glass strong enough to do a window in a sealed single 12 box
Would the acrylic change the sound or are there any negatives to this instead of making it out of all mdf?
what type of bolts do you recommend be used with these threaded inserts and plexiglass? And why these inserts and not the ones for mdf?
Like it
Great DIY support. Attempting a two sub car audio to at home conversion.. Any recommendation if I make a straight plexiglass wall? For full visibility?
3/4 inch plexi minimum
When drilling holes in the acrylic dose the hole in the acrylic need to be wider than the screw so the screw can slide in and out of the acrylic ??
Nice work youre nice
Does a subwoofer lose power when you use glass for subwoofer box for design?
The Like button has been smashed
My dude!
Sick
I've learned so much from your video seriers and I really appreciate it. Where do I go to donate to future videos?
Hey, love your videos.
I have a question.
Im attempting a false wall build in a frs.
any advice on air tight sealing in areas you cant perfectly cut for on the sides? ive heard of expanding foam but wanted your take i want a professional or atleast a clean look..
also. I was thinking about using a (probably single maybe dual) high power 8" like dc m38 or x-8. Do you think that would be good or should i go for a 10" or 12" in such a small cabin.
ill be doing this with my two 15"
Use like to do this with a box that's already built....wonder how hard it would be
Where did you get that rabbiting bit? That’s not easy to find lol
Do u not need lpck washers or nuts when using threaded inserts?
I would like too know what city your in to get a build done when I finish getting all the products I want in the system I love the custom work you do and would like to have a couple systems done by you if it could be possible thanks
Can u just used silicone for seal?
will the plexyglass vibrate and reduce sound quality ?
now how to add led lighting around it? bcuz viewers can buy online a premade window with the name brand etched into it. looks awesome when lit up!
Any sound quality reasons why I couldn't omit the plexiglass viewing window & cover with wood & carpet entire outer box with carpeting to hide enclosure?
Hey mark great work and very useful information do you reside in Arizona?
Can the windows on a subwoofer box be made out of the same glass that they make house windows out of
What kinda vinyl did you use?
how did you make the layered chamfer?
Great videos, but how can i do this things without such a table? if i just want to do it once or twice as an normal random dude for example?
Hello, would Anyone give me the black material used on the wood please ? :-)
I'm finishing my 10tw3 today... I've just found this great channel.
would it be possible to build a box for 2 zv4 12"s that will fit in a ford fiesta 2014 sedan without having to mod the car?
6:04 I would think a perfectionist such as yourself would be using the following tool (Idk the name) if I remeber correctly from my childhood, you can buy a small donut looking tool that attaches to your drill bit and tightens/clamps onto it using an allen screw, attaching it to the specified height in order to prevent you from drilling too deep for those threaded inserts.
How does that smart template work?
Make me one. TAKE MY MONEY!!!
Hey Mark do you have a video on stacked chamfered technics ? I've wanted to learn that I forgot to ask Bryan when I took his class . I have an idea of how it works but not certain thanks again
I'm with you! Need to see this process!
All you use is different router bits hope this helps
What type of router are you using. Where can I purchase the same router
Do I need the same cast acrylic to make a amp viewing window
Do you have a video of a 4th order box?
is awesome in Argentina is realy hard see works like that. Is a shame waht i cant understend spiking inglish. a great job. sorry by mi inglish
do you build and ship custom boxes? I live in the caribbean.
Currently im building a box that im using your other video to make a glowing logo. I was just wondering if you could please clear something up for me, where would i hook my wires for the l.e.d strip, to the car amp??
Nightmare Munoz u could hook it to your amp power signal wire and give it it's own ground
