I was impressed by how well they portrayed how to cook. Souma exaggerates to the point of being fake and other anime just hints on the process without really showing what goes on. The only other anime I can think of is cooking master (Mao) but that's super old and doubt people know what it is.
Best part is when you said garam masala. Garam masala is one the easiest spice mix which is very easy to make. Garam masala (spice blend of hotness) is a blend of ground spices originated from India. It is common in Indian. It is generally used alone and sometimes with some other masalas depending on what type of indian dish you are preparing.

I completely forgot about the kid since it's non-canon but man, whenever I watch One Piece before and Sanji's cooking, I feel like I want to eat his dishes since it looks so good despite it's an animation.
Watching this made me reminisce of the earlier seasons of one piece before things got serious and appreciate those memories I had while growing up with this series. It's amazing how much things change until you actually look back and see it for yourself.

I think it's basmati rice and the place where I live it's one of the most expensive rice grown, it's safe for diabetic patients and taste real good( a lot better than normal smaller rice)
Maybe in-future you can use the shorts format to do ultra short recipes that don’t need a full video. Also updates may be a good use. Just a thought, have a good day
