@@boltempires This is bad advice, sorry! You shouldn't "just keep streaming" If you aren't growing, it is important to stop, take a step back, and be honest with yourself about your content and what you need to do to improve.
Try getting onto other platforms, and ask yourself "would you watch your own content?" It's a very competitive market, especially before you have any growth. But if you truly believe that you have something that people will enjoy, keep it up and continue evolving your content to keep it interesting.
I feel like one of the most important things is to realize that just because your stream isn't doing great sometimes, things can very quickly change. It could just be that time of day where your friends are busy, not a lot of people wants to watch at that moment, and it overall looks like you will only get two viewers for the entire stream. I've had those days. But I have also had those days where a stream starts at two viewers for an entire hour, and suddenly friends drop in, new faces show up, and suddenly it just explodes and you're sitting at 20+ people just having a blast. It's important to never give up, and to remember that bad days are just days that are bad. You'll get there. ♥
4 months ago I was at an average of 9 viewers, after watching several of your video's I grew to an average of 18. I try to not let the stats get to me, but it can be challenging. Great advice you gave about the single stream chat/viewer stats and how to use them to gain more information about your stream/content. :)
Hi, Eljay. I started streaming about two months ago, and your videos were critical in helping me get established. I’m an older streamer and was worried that I might find it difficult to compete with ‘the kids’, but I’ve managed to attract a decent (and loyal) following. Thanks for this video, which I think will be very useful as I develop my streaming in future!
The last advice it's truly important. I commited a lot to certain game that gave me quite the followage but I got burnt out and I was starting to not enjoy streaming anymore. After applying most of your advices I stopped with that game and the growth stopped for a while but now it's back on track and I'm enjoying everything so much more. Thank you good sir
I took part in a charity stream start of the month and the support it got was amazing, raised lots of money grew my community and most importantly had a blast! Looking forward to yours!
This is the video I needed right now, not really to answer questions but to reassure myself. My answer viewers has been growing, I had a small dip recently after switching games but I'm still seeing around 8 average viewers which is so huge to me 🥰
Hey Eljay, thanks so much for your work man. I followed all your videos and after streaming for 1 month I have 30 average viewers, a discord community building and I literally just posted my first video ever. Keep up the great work!
#earlygang before watching the video, in terms of analytics i've been using twitch tracker, also to look at other streamer's games that they play, to see if they would good on mine as well. Thanks for all the tip videos, i've gone from around 40ish followers to around 140 as of currently! As for your average viewers question, I've had an average viewers of 9.4, but it's a bit overbloated due to some prior hosts from decently sized streamers, so around 7ish is more accurate.
I just started streaming two weeks ago (ghetto style: with a headset, no camera, stream directly from my phone due to no capture card). I am going to step up the quality for sure but wanted to get used to streaming and gaming at the same time first. I’m hitting 20-ish unique viewers but rarely have people stick around for obvious reasons. I’m averaging two viewers on every stream and they are engaging viewers. I think doing test runs live was a good idea. Once I get an actual set up going, I see a lot of potential. Very helpful channel. Thank you!
@@kingnathy I’ve been working to find my niche, but recently settled on the Sims 4. I just started a challenge that will realistically take a few months to complete, so I’m excited to have scheduled regular content so my new followers know what to expect from me
I struggle with my analytics, thanks for these tips! Also at an average of 5 viewers at the moment! (Preemptively knowing these are gonna be spot on, they always are!)
Been streaming for a couple of weeks and I went from 2 average to 15 average. Jay gave me the best advice which was, when I'm not streaming, I'm still working on improving. Using the small goals of improving lighting, making notes on how I can engage with viewers more. I also rewatch my videos much my displeasure. I'm learning a lot about myself. Thanks Jay
thank you so much for all of the content you make on here. I feel like it's helped me quite a bit and I recently made affiliate on twitch! You're awesome
Been watching a few videos on trying to figure out how Twitch analytics works, but yours is as detailed as they come. This is why I keep coming back to your RUclips content, eljayem. A lot of really useful info to grow my streams. Thanks so much for this video! Also hoping to drop by your Twitch streams someday when I can. :)
@@StreamScheme to an extent totally! I only stream on twitch, i dont really do anything else on other sites at all which is why i think im starting to stagnate. We'll keep on keepin on though! Free time off work coming up which means more opportunities right? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video, definitely have been using the 'Big Events' and Go Live tips you've given already. I see a steady growth from just streaming and I'm at a respectable 12 average viewers. Hoping to see some more growth soon when I'll be uploading new (hopefully unique) content to RUclips. And the best part of it all is that I'm enjoying myself and that my chat tells me they enjoy my streams. Happy lad over here! #earlygang
I’m only averaging 0.6 viewers right now… hoping to grow more and more over my streaming career. I’ve started streaming as a hobby when I’m not working but looking like is going to be a second job just for the simple fact I love it. Looking forward to the community I build. Loads of credit to these guides, tips and tricks and the overlay pack!
I'm at 5.3 average viewers overall and got 8.1 avg for my stream today. While watching this, I looked at the days with the highest average views and its always Sundays which is when I do my Community Stream (Neighbourhoodie Street Party). I started doing these community streams after watching a previous video of yours so its great to see it is helping my stream grow!
Btw, just recently picked up a ton of free time, my wife found your RUclips and we watched the videos together bc I started streaming. Just wanted to give a thanks and some positive feedback. Not enough people give brutal, honest feedback and you've said it a ton and "but I give actionable tips and thinks to help you grow." Need more humans like you my friend, keep doing it
I have recently been getting an average of about 5 viewers which is great. They follow me no matter what crazy/weird game i play😂 keep up the great work my man ✊🏼
Just wanted to drop a message and say thanks for all the videos on this channel, starting from the ground up to start streaming this summer and you've been beyond helpful 🌟 keep up the good work 👏
Love all the videos man! I just hit affiliate and all your videos have really helped (recently got a compliment about my camera so I sent them your way. They didn't believe it was just a $50 webcam). I'm probably going to be going back to this video In the coming months for ideas and insights
My average viewers is 1.5, I'm using your tips to help me with my channel, even downloaded Stardew Valley (which I'm loving) to try grow a community. Thanks Eljay!
I'm relatively new to streaming and what you said about not enjoying what your doing basically happened to me today I just finished a game and wanted to start playing another game and an hour into the stream I just decided it was too painful to continue and chatted a while before leaving barely after the one hour mark which for me was a first.
Hell yeah, the last analytics is something everyone should check! Thanks for saying it oud loud like this. Many people tend to forget that they need to enjoy it
I've been going for a couple months now and have a few regulars. I currently average anywhere from 2 to 5. I've been fine with the relatively mellow viewer count because I think it's easier to push yourself into being more animated and engaging on stream when there are fewer eyes on you. Which is my primary goal currently: getting comfortable being on camera.
Hey, love your vids and streams! I rlly like the black and white spray paint overlay, and would like to add on my own parts to it, but I can't find a way to make the paint effect you did. I was wondering if you have any advice on how to do this? Thanks in advance!
It made using custom tools in after effects, the animation is created with a mix of paid products and hand masked animation. There are easier ways but they won’t match very well most likely.
Hiding the view count on my OBS has helped me immensely, when you see the count drop lower than what you're used to it instantly saps your energy and motivation
very smart video. the segment about burning out kind of felt out of place but it was still an important message. minecraft has really left a scar on you, you talked about it quite a few times now haha. keep up the good work
I play a variety of JRPGs, so my viewers swing a bit. I usually average between 8-15, but sometimes spike higher depending on the game. Not counting raid numbers. I made a change to my schedule recently and my numbers still seem pretty consistent. Thanks for the help. :)
Currently have around 9 avg viewers (started 3 months ago), been slowing down to make ytube videos and stream 2-3 times a week (i play chess so it is semi satuarted).. Thanks for the amazing videos!
Average lies at about 6.9 at the moment, have an awesome community. I think my next step to growth is looking at my first 30 minutes that seem to start slower then by later in evening I have about 10+ viewers. Always averages out to around 6 or 7 overall, so gotta look at stronger starts ? Or adapt when I begin streaming?
I look at my analytics every day. Im currenly siting at 2.5 avargae veiw so im working hard to get it up and im hoping your advice will help me hit my goals
I do feel like my stream is not growing as quickly as i wanted to, i average around 3-4 viewers and have been for the past couple months although i look back and remember how hard it was to hit affilaite and am actually quite proud of myself, also about 2-3 people are actaully active in chat so i cant ask for much more really lol
It is a tough journey, it is really important to focus not on how fast your growing but on how you are going to be discovered, what strategies you are attempting, etc. Good luck mate! Hope the content helps! #earlygang
@@StreamScheme yeah man, i totally agree, i usually do 2 rogue company streams per week AKA my 'growing' game, and then about 1 or 2 minecraft streams where it brings my community together. Overall i do see more growth on rogue streams, with people coming in from my games to say hi, and with the game having anywhere from 500-2000 viewers but a max of 100 streamers actaully streaming. As for minecraft, i feel like it is a lot more interactive and gets people chatting... One more thing, could you maybe please make a vid about how to record a yt video or a guide to ads on twitch/ the revenue from ads as both of these have been itching the back of my mind recently. Great Content Man Keep It Up!
Eyyy you didnt say "first things first" at all in this vid XD I liked the end, it kinda reiterated what you've said before but it's a good subject to bring up again, loved the vid man! Thank you for the content :)
....I may have cut out the part I say "First things first" hahaha and yeah, I have talked about the end a bit before but I have to remind myself that new people find the channel daily and don't hear the advice, so if it fits with the overall theme of the video and is important then it can be included again!
I average like 3 viewers, no matter what I stream. I play alot of ranked Overeatch and then amateur Warzone tourneys. I know they are saturated games but I really love them. I hopped on the Tik Tok train for exposure, started making more YT content, all in hopes of achieving more average viewers . I tweet often about my content. I make sure to have like mini YT series videos too. I appreciate all the advice you provide!
Recently, my channel has blown up massively. I was averaging around 24-26 viewers a stream but now im looking at 35-45 average viewers a stream. My concern is, it's because I started a Minecraft SMP BUT it's not open to everyone. I hope it stays consistent, but It's scary being in this moment because there's potential for me to do it full time in the future, but i just dont want to mess up. I genuinely believe i have one of the best communities on twitch.
I'm doing my first day of med school and I'm glad I'm watching your content now more than ever as I will be streaming more than making content as I wouldn't have the time to create engaging content as I will be focusing on school but I can stream instead
Hey Eljay, any chance you're thinking of making a video on how to grow past 20-40 viewers? Or does it go back to the basics of improving your content & stream + discoverability? Thanks
I struggle a lot with analytics because I focussed too much on average viewers. My average used to be 37 a month ago and now its at 33. This bugged me a lot however I do know that growth is not linear. For context, I only started streaming in January so I really shouldn't complain about anything. A spike in growth is never gonna keep spiking. As always thank you for the great tips, they always help me a lot!
Hi, your videos help me a lot when I have questions, great channel Earlier today I encountered "chapters" when visiting a twitch channel and I can't find any info on it when looking it up, do you perhaps have a video in which you explain it? Even if it's just briefly, I'd appreciate it
Hey Hey: at timecode 7:00 you visit an analytics site that shows you the list of games you played and the amount of time you spent with each. where did you find that analytic view? Thanks in advance!
Thanks you for this! I’ve been feeling a bit down because while I get the most views and chatter engagement when I play animal crossing I am SO BORED of playing that game! I’m currently trying things out to see what will work best as my main game going forward but it’s been hard not having my regulars come back. And it even has me questioning if I should just suffer through the boredom! But no! Once I find the game I can play long term that isn’t over saturated I can build again. I would rather not suffer through a boring game lol.
Good content. Have to look over my stream since my niche haven't been very successful lately and I have a hard time engaging my normal crowd since I had to switch timezone. 100 followers but can't even hit 3 average ATM. Have to start producing some RUclips content as well maybe. Lots of work ahead.
Depending on what I’m playing I typically get an average of 3 views sometimes 5. Some streams shoot up to like 9 or 15 and then I just get confused and I wonder if I should be streaming those games instead.
Started streaming again back in March, was averaging double digits. Been super slow lately and average is at 4.7 !! Def discouraging. Going to keep trying to utilize your tips ! 👌🏽
"My established community was enjoying Minecraft, but they were not enjoying the chat that came with it" Yeah, that category has some... interesting characters browsing it. My friend who did speedruns of it for a while had a lot of really weird chat experiences daily in that time, and it was mainly children/pre-teens coming in as new viewers. It made the chat experience awkward, even with a lot of regulars already chatting in there, so that was a big part of why he didn't stick with it for very long.
i think ive been doing pretty well for growth. i seem to have one day a week where i get a really good response and consistantly one follower per stream. im pushing myself past my own expectations so im pretty happy in that regard but i know i need to start taking things a bit more seriously. im at 2.97 avg viewers and 40 followers in about a month. im excited to earn my way through the last 10 and confident ill have it in the next week. the small communities i've found have been pretty amazing though and i couldn't have got this far without them.
Hey there, great content as always. I'm trying to build a following at the moment trying to be consistent with playing two games Hades and Hollow Knight. Usually I stream twice a week for 2 hours a night on Tuesdays and Sundays. Sorry if this reads like plugging, please trust me I am not. However I would like to ask if I played these two games, where one week is one game and the other week is the other game, rotating like that. Would that be a way of being consistent? Sorry again if that sounds long winded or wordy, but just need some advice. thank you.
This a suggestion for a series you could do but idk how possible it would be Maybe like once a month you could review a smaller content creators RUclips/twitch that was submitted in your discord and talk about what they where doing wrong and how the viewers could learn from this specific person's mistakes to improve, aswell as helping that specific smaller content creator.
I’ve been streaming on a consistent basis for over a year. I get about 2.2 viewers on average per stream. Sometimes I get a bit higher, but I write it off as just dumb luck or it just happened to be a stream where something important happened like a boss fight.
Hey eljayem, it's pawnmaster. I was wondering if you could possibly do a video on how to be more entertaining during the live stream and maybe something on how to introduce/greet raiders ?
I’m at 3-4 average viewers in less then 1 week of RUclips and Twitch so I think I’m doing good with limited recourses such as no PC just a console and a phone I just want to learn more things to make my stream better that don’t require a PC
I sit at 2 avg viewers...I try to play either multiplayer games with friends and have a good time, or singleplayer games so I can focus on chat. It's hard but I hope to improve. I know I'm not the only one struggling either
I averaged 32 viewers last stream. Probably not good for bigger streamers but I’ve been using stream avatars for a while and it’s big for engagement. I play an obscure indie game on stream that I also make YT content for and there’s a surprising amount of Pokémon fans among the player base. You can basically use stream avatars to have Pokémon battles happen along the bottom of your stream. I usually commentate them and make a big deal out of win streaks. I grew up playing the games so it’s easy to talk about the Pokémon people pick. Last stream about 10 people picked Wailord who’s avatar is massive and we saw the rise and fall of whale gang. I’ve been having silly debates with viewers on topics like movies and games a lot. One of my stream titles last week was “Bruce Willis is overrated” and that stirred up some debate. The stream before last we got into it over little debbies snack cakes and on the last stream I had 4 boxes of snack cakes and ate a bunch on stream. I think if you play a game that’ can be somewhat passive like the one I play (called Dungeon Defenders: Awakened), having different threads of conversation happening throughout the stream helps keep it more engaging. Huge congrats on your growth man, I started watching your videos right after you broke 1k subs. Well deserved, you videos are excellent. Hope you break 100k soon!
@@StreamScheme Yet again I found some spot on advice! I'm going to have a look at my stats and see what I need to work on. I've already got a ton of ideas for what I can do. Thank you for giving me a boost Eljay your videos always seem to make me feel better about the content I'm making. I can't wait to catch you live soon my friend! 🌟
I have a question for the all-knowing eljay. A close friend of mine thinks himself to be a "content creator coach" and has been advising me to replay my RUclips streams on Twitch, as like commercials for my content. He argues that re-streaming the recordings of my RUclips streams through twitch is an Avenue of promoting myself I'm not taking advantage of. I personally believe it's more trouble than it's worth, and that I would be better off focusing on making my RUclips videos weekly, but I would like your opinion on the matter.
Just posting straight VoDs to a RUclips channel? Or fully restreaming them a few days later? Restreaming a few days later feels useless due to... well, the people can't chat, and if you have zero following than posting VoDs doesn't do much. You're right, posting actual discoverable videos related in search or social traffic is a better use of your time. Posting VoDs to a seperate channel will help you to have a back catalogue but it won't help you with growth. Just my opinion and other creators I've spoken to tend to agree, not all knowing, just a guy with practice :)
@@StreamScheme yes you got the basic idea. he wanted me to rerun my RUclips streams through twitch outside of my normal schedule, and his excuse with chatting with them is just have the Twitch app on my phone and chat that way, but it just doesn't seem like a great idea. I make almost all of my content exclusively on RUclips and stream exclusively on RUclips and going outside in that way just seems like a waste of time
Could you make a video on OBS best settings for low CPU usage please? I found a few but they're old and not always Mac friendly... My fan goes crazy after a few minutes on OBS... I don't have that many scenes, one of them has just 1 browser, nothing else is open... My first stream is very soon and I'm freaking out, I probably won't be able to stay on for longer than 30min/1hour... Thank you so much!
I know it might not directly have to do with this theme of streaming but I would really like to know what you think of this: I remember you mentioned in one of your videos that you reccomend not looking at how many viewers you have live as you stream because it affects you heavily, recently I finally actually got people using chat on some of my streams, I usually talk to myself as I play to keep up the rhythm and while I was glad someone actually finally talked I was glad, but when it stops and doesnt happen again it throws me off so much I cant keep up the talking, how do you prevent this from happening or how do you deal with this? (Sorrybif it's a bit long)
I had finally 10 average viewers after having 5 for the longest time and I was so happy and wanted to grow more and since the last 3 streams or so I got back to 5 and it makes me so sad. I know that it is normal but it makes me feel like I'm too boring or something. And then I always compare myself to other streamers who began streaming at the same time and who are by now 10 times bigger than me. Why am I like this :')
It is just a mindset issue, you need to remember EVERY streamer has seen dips this past month due to Lock downs opening up, final exams, and more seasonal reason. There is a lot out there that can affect it, just do your best :) #earlygang
@@StreamScheme omg I was streaming again today and I turned off my viewer count like you said (I tried that before but I was always lurking secretly) AND THEY WERE BACK!! I had my 11 viewers again today. No idea why I am telling you this but you're my fav youtuber atm because of your Twitch videos I'm serious!! Thank you Eljay!
Thanks for all your useful tips & resources! 💕 I have a question related to this, are sites like Twitchtracker accurate? Why are stats always higher there than in actual Path to Partner stats? PTP says 65 for me right now but in reality it's 70+? Is this because of artificial inflation from raids? Any help much appreciated & thank you again so much 💗
Feel like I’m cracked on streaming I love watching myself and so do my viewers from what I’ve seen at least I just started about 2 months ago and discord’s been great for growth!
Hey I’ve noticed a dip from 9 avg viewers last month to now getting 5-6 avg, I’ve been suspecting it was bc I had to ban some people that would pretty much always be in my stream last month but I’m worried my channel is dying, and I’m losing motivation
Sounds like you understand why the dip happened, try not to focus on it, I had to ban a viewer once and they took 4 - 5 viewers with them, BUT I kept going, stayed positive, and it all worked out. The worst thing you can do is dwell on it and spiral!
Hi bro so I stream to an average of 5 viewers and whoever else decides to pop in and out (max being like 15 viewers) but everyone who watches me knows me in real life or I've met online as a friend. How do I get people to join the stream by their own accord? Unsaturated games?
Yep, unsaturated games if you are trying to grow just from Twitch discovery, you'll need to look for categories you can appear at the top of :) #earlygang

What game are you streaming at the moment?
@@kingnathy I’ve been working to find my niche, but recently settled on the Sims 4. I just started a challenge that will realistically take a few months to complete, so I’m excited to have scheduled regular content so my new followers know what to expect from me
I struggle with my analytics, thanks for these tips! Also at an average of 5 viewers at the moment! (Preemptively knowing these are gonna be spot on, they always are!)
Happy to help! #earlygang :)
Great to hear! Sounds like you're working away!
Your content has for sure helped me see steady growth on my channel so thank you
It sounds like it is entirely your own hard work! #earlygang
Glad to hear it, Johan! I really appreciate that! Just doing my best! :) #earlygang
Thank you for all the Help. If your channel weren’t there I might never started streaming. Thx :)
Hey, great video as always, but I have a question. What website were you using around the 7:16 mark?
Twitchtracker most likely, I can't click it right now but that is probably what you are referring too :)
@@StreamScheme thank you, I’ll make sure to check it out
Sitting around 7-10 avg with 5 when my usuals are busy etc. Pretty happy with my progress so far. Cheers for the tips all these months my man
Fantastic! Sounds like you're killing it!
@@StreamScheme to an extent totally! I only stream on twitch, i dont really do anything else on other sites at all which is why i think im starting to stagnate. We'll keep on keepin on though! Free time off work coming up which means more opportunities right? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey Eljay! Great video and really timely for me as I’ve been really trying to figure out how best to look at my stats!!! Love it!!
Great to hear, Sam! Hope it explains everything properly! :) #earlygang
@@StreamScheme absolutely! Looking forward to talking about it a bit more tomorrow on stream tho, because I have a few thoughts!
Started streaming one month ago, average viewers last stream (seventh ever) was 5! And I’ve been writing everything down that you say in your videos.
#earlygang
Sounds like you are absolutely smashing it, Dennis! #earlygang Keep it up!
Not enough people give brutal, honest feedback and you've said it a ton and "but I give actionable tips and thinks to help you grow."
Need more humans like you my friend, keep doing it
I have recently been getting an average of about 5 viewers which is great. They follow me no matter what crazy/weird game i play😂 keep up the great work my man ✊🏼
Recently I have grown to be around 17-25 average viewers. All thanks to you!
Smashing it, Hazza! Keep it up! :) #earlygang
Heck yeah, Eggy! Keep it up mate! Glad the videos can be helpful! #earlygang
Which is my primary goal currently: getting comfortable being on camera.
i was staring at my analytics and doubting myself but this video really helped me thanks eljay!
Glad to hear it! #earlygang
Honestly I only check my analytics like... once a week. I appreciate the advice. I average between like 3-5 viewers
Hope this helps you when checking over things! :) #earlygang
Hey nice to see someone else with 5 average viewers
@@Supersonic802 haha when im lucky ;)
Hey, love your vids and streams! I rlly like the black and white spray paint overlay, and would like to add on my own parts to it, but I can't find a way to make the paint effect you did. I was wondering if you have any advice on how to do this? Thanks in advance!
It made using custom tools in after effects, the animation is created with a mix of paid products and hand masked animation.
There are easier ways but they won’t match very well most likely.
@@StreamScheme Ok, thanks!
Hiding the view count on my OBS has helped me immensely, when you see the count drop lower than what you're used to it instantly saps your energy and motivation
I can't wait to watch this video! I love all your content!
Hope you enjoy it! Hope the channel helps! #earlygang
very smart video. the segment about burning out kind of felt out of place but it was still an important message. minecraft has really left a scar on you, you talked about it quite a few times now haha. keep up the good work
I play a variety of JRPGs, so my viewers swing a bit.
I can't see your graphs so hard to say honestly! If it starts slow, potentially better go-lives and discord pushes. #earlygang
@@StreamScheme cheers man !
I look at my analytics every day. Im currenly siting at 2.5 avargae veiw so im working hard to get it up and im hoping your advice will help me hit my goals
It takes a lot of work! Good luck! What is your next step for growth? #earlygang
This video really helps! Thanks Eljay
Thanks Jim! I appreciate it! :) #earlygang
2:59 that sentence just bitch slapped my soul
It's an easy mindset to fall into :) but there are better ways to think and look at your analytics!
Great video as always! Average chatters atm is 3.5 and growing thanks for your support and advice dude!
Glad it helped, Kaotic! Keep it up mate :)
I get between 15-20 lately which is great! I look at it pretty often! I only need the concurrent and then I have a shot at partner!
I'm doing my first day of med school and I'm glad I'm watching your content now more than ever as I will be streaming more than making content as I wouldn't have the time to create engaging content as I will be focusing on school but I can stream instead
Good luck with school as well! :) #earlygang
@@StreamScheme thank you brother
Hey Eljay, any chance you're thinking of making a video on how to grow past 20-40 viewers? Or does it go back to the basics of improving your content & stream + discoverability? Thanks
Working on an idea for that :)
I'm a sucker for a good heist... always brings me out of my lurk no matter what I am doing 😂
They’re just fun! Hahaha
As always chap this is SO helpful, thank you 🔥
Hope it does help :)
@@StreamScheme Gems were found in here, gems I tells ya!
Hi, your videos help me a lot when I have questions, great channel
Earlier today I encountered "chapters" when visiting a twitch channel and I can't find any info on it when looking it up, do you perhaps have a video in which you explain it? Even if it's just briefly, I'd appreciate it
(i took a break from streaming because i have an exam coming up) but when i was still streaming, i averaged from 6-8 thanks to your videos :D
I’ve been watching for so long and it makes me happy to see Stream Scheme as a whole growing bigger and bigger. Keep killing it! 👏👏👏
Hey Hey: at timecode 7:00 you visit an analytics site that shows you the list of games you played and the amount of time you spent with each. where did you find that analytic view?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for the video!! I love your channel ❤
Hey, thanks! I really appreciate it! #earlygang
Hello! What was the site you went to that showed the games you played and how many followers alongside? Keep up the great content
Twitchtracker :) it’s helpful for your own stats or reviewing people with a similar number of viewers
@@StreamScheme thank you! Hope you have an awesome day, I've been enjoying watching your content! Thank you
Thanks you for this!
Great Content as usual!
Thanks Thumb! :) #earlygang
Good content. Have to look over my stream since my niche haven't been very successful lately and I have a hard time engaging my normal crowd since I had to switch timezone. 100 followers but can't even hit 3 average ATM. Have to start producing some RUclips content as well maybe. Lots of work ahead.
Hey! I really want to stream sometimes me making a tier list etc but is it usefull tho when I only have a 5 average?
Depends on the tierlist and your audience or content :)
Depending on what I’m playing I typically get an average of 3 views sometimes 5. Some streams shoot up to like 9 or 15 and then I just get confused and I wonder if I should be streaming those games instead.
If you're seeing growth and viewers from certain categories, I do recommend focusing on those categories. Explained in the video :) #earlygang
@@StreamScheme agreed maybe I’ll look into that! It’s just hard for me to do 1 game or 2 at a time. Also awesome video again!
Hey Eljay, what Mic are you using currently? I always thought you were using the Pod Mice, but it seems like I was wrong about that...
Started streaming again back in March, was averaging double digits. Been super slow lately and average is at 4.7 !! Def discouraging. Going to keep trying to utilize your tips ! 👌🏽
"My established community was enjoying Minecraft, but they were not enjoying the chat that came with it"
Yeah, that category has some... interesting characters browsing it.
Sorry again if that sounds long winded or wordy, but just need some advice. thank you.
when he said analytics i honestly instantly checked mine out lol #earlygang
Everyone's obsessed with them honestly! #earlygang
This a suggestion for a series you could do but idk how possible it would be
Maybe like once a month you could review a smaller content creators RUclips/twitch that was submitted in your discord and talk about what they where doing wrong and how the viewers could learn from this specific person's mistakes to improve, aswell as helping that specific smaller content creator.
I’ve been streaming on a consistent basis for over a year. I get about 2.2 viewers on average per stream. Sometimes I get a bit higher, but I write it off as just dumb luck or it just happened to be a stream where something important happened like a boss fight.
Back for #earlygang, didnt even see the title and clicked cuz I knew it would be good
Also first
Legit full first, well done! #earlygang
Also also I'm getting an average of 7-8, a little less on my more experimental days
@@StreamScheme Why thank you!
I know I'm not the only one struggling either
thank you for one more amazing video, keep up man
Always on point 🔥
Hey Eljay, which website did u use in the 7th minute for tracking which categories are working best for you?
Oh nevermind it was sullygnome you said it later in the video :D
looking at the analytics i see my growth for once and I cant wait to keep streaming :]
You got this, Kino :) #earlygang
I started streaming one month ago an your tips and advice hes helped me tremendously i actually became an affiliate today i want to thank you so much
what website is being used at 7:19 ?
Most likely Twitchtracker :)
Hey Eljay? I haven't even watched the video but I just wanted to say something...#EARLYGANG!!! 😂 right, see you in 20 minutes xD
Have fun! Hope it helps! Always a legend, Atomic! :) #earlygang
I know it might not directly have to do with this theme of streaming but I would really like to know what you think of this:
I remember you mentioned in one of your videos that you reccomend not looking at how many viewers you have live as you stream because it affects you heavily, recently I finally actually got people using chat on some of my streams, I usually talk to myself as I play to keep up the rhythm and while I was glad someone actually finally talked I was glad, but when it stops and doesnt happen again it throws me off so much I cant keep up the talking, how do you prevent this from happening or how do you deal with this? (Sorrybif it's a bit long)
Practice :)
People like to lurk, it can even get quiet in my streams as I show in the video. It is entirely just practice! You got this! #earlygang
@@StreamScheme omg I was streaming again today and I turned off my viewer count like you said (I tried that before but I was always lurking secretly)
AND THEY WERE BACK!! I had my 11 viewers again today. No idea why I am telling you this but you're my fav youtuber atm because of your Twitch videos I'm serious!! Thank you Eljay!
Thanks for all your useful tips & resources! 💕
I have a question related to this, are sites like Twitchtracker accurate? Why are stats always higher there than in actual Path to Partner stats? PTP says 65 for me right now but in reality it's 70+? Is this because of artificial inflation from raids? Any help much appreciated & thank you again so much 💗
Anyone know what site he is using at the 7:15 mark??
@@StreamScheme Alr thanks, I’ll keep that in mind ❤️
Hi bro so I stream to an average of 5 viewers and whoever else decides to pop in and out (max being like 15 viewers) but everyone who watches me knows me in real life or I've met online as a friend. How do I get people to join the stream by their own accord? Unsaturated games?
Yep, unsaturated games if you are trying to grow just from Twitch discovery, you'll need to look for categories you can appear at the top of :) #earlygang
@@StreamScheme okay thank you! Damn those follow for follows didn't work....(joke)
I currently get between 7-9 average viewers with about 5-10 average chatters i stream 3x a week and i see some growth thx to ur advise so thank you :)
