****** MILEY CYRUS Should be Included. Whatever happened in Her childhood Caused Her to go into Questionable Acts like finger b*nging a Vctoria's Secret Model in a public Parking structure.
I mean, the idea of a teenager is really a pretty new one. At 16, I was "not a girl, not yet a woman", but I would say it's closer to being a woman than to being a child.
"This is Paris" was a tear jerker for me. it started out so upbeat and "lookk at me" but turned progressively harder and darker. when the over of "girls just wanna have fun" started playing, I just lost it. Her entire early career now seems like a giant "fuck you" to the ones who abused her in her teens.
Stories of his abuse of children. Stop dancing around calling them kids. "Underage women" is just "little girls" with extra syllables for viewers' comfort.
This is Paris was a great watch. Always felt like there had to be more behind that dumb blonde persona. It was refreshing to hear her speak in her real voice and to tell her story without hiding behind that public character.
Quiet on Set is such a good show. Given that Nickalodeon was something I grew up watching the shows but behind the scenes decades later I just feel bad for them because they grew up in a toxic environment
whats crazy is the doc “ An Open Secret” came out 7 years before the Quiet On Set series and talked about Brian Pecks predatory behaviors as well as the many other Hollywood creepers and tne other child actors; grown up and long forgotten- whose lives have been permanently destroyed just trying to live their dreams.. incredibly sad but VERY good.
Me too. Child stardom isn't all that it’s cracked up to be. After hearing stories about Jackie Coogan, Drew Barrymore, and others, it’s just not worth the hassle.
@@pleaseshutup7053 I have to agree. The third episode was very hard for me to watch but at the same time I am proud that Drake Bell came forward after holding the secret in for two decades
The Britney Spears doc was a tough watch as seeing the treatment she suffered as a young star was reprehensible and wouldn’t be tolerated today. For example, grown adult male reporters asking her if she’s a virgin and if her breasts are real at 16-17.
I loved watching Demi’s documentary. It was eye opening and almost relatable as someone who struggled with addiction and trauma. She was really lucky to survive it was very scary to know that. Also, the quiet behind set had me in tears 😭 it was heartbreaking when drake’s story was revealed I couldn’t believe how people sided with his abuser.
Those Choice of words are Dangerous and they have Real World Consequences, it's like Calling Pregnant Children "Pregnant Women" when in Fact they are not ready to have Children While those Demented Anti-Abortionists make Excuses to let the Pregnant Children be the Victim of Rape and Force them to have Children While the Victims Deserve to have Abortion due that Ordeal in the First Place. Sorry for that Comparison, that's the only thing that came to my Mind. [Please, don't Delete my Comment, I was only trying to make a Point. I Know that it is a Touchy Semi-Political Comparison, I'm just making a Point.]
I have watched Quiet on the Set and I really feel very very sorry for all the kid actors that went through this. it's shocking. You know you grow up and you know you watch these shows but you know behind the scenes and you know off camera. shocking now. I can't even like literally watch these shows anymore because my heart just literally sinks for them all what they went through is heartbreaking
"Quiet on Set" totally shattered my childhood memories of Nickelodeon. A law that punishes toxic bosses should be made in order to protect minors from ever going through such horrid experiences.
@@kimboslyce7863 , Schneider was much more than a "bad boss". He blatantly allowed child abuse and grooming to happen on the sets of his shows... and he KNEW it was going on.
Underage women are just girls that’s #1!!! Demi makes me so frustrated 🤦🏽♀️ and seeing the clip just made me angry all over again On another note, Quiet on Set was a hard hard watch but what’s worst is that last episode was not disclosed to some of the contributors and again the survivors were left out of conversations concerning solutions.
Most cyclists in the Tour De France have been shown to use performance enhancing drugs though. It's just that Lance Armstrong is the most high profile one.
I was always fond of Paris Hilton anyway as an Elder Millennial, but after the documentary and what she's doing with her platform re: abusive boarding schools made me actually respect her. Fair play, luv.
Permanent brain damage. As someone who was born with brain damage (cerebral palsy) that is heartbreaking. Imagine being perfectly healthy, making a huge mistake, and ending up with brain damage. Demi paid a high price.
While Quiet On The Set was eye opening and heartbreaking, I did find it a little misleading in Bell's case. He was violently assaulted, and he deserves justice for that, but they kind of swept his assaults towards a minor under the rug. They were mentioned, but it was really a passing thought that didn't elaborate on how he groomed and pursued the girl. That, to me, was disrespectful to her and her trauma.
Quiet on the set was intense. I’ve watched it a few times and from what I’ve understand these actors that worked on nickelodeon shows were having a rough life and they didn’t have a childhood at the way. A child would have them. It just breaks my heart to see how they were mistreated by Dan Schneider, who created shows that I grew up watching and I still watch them from time to time and Jennette McCurdy calls him the creator in her book which I understand why she said means stuff about him and I I agree with her on that because he was a creep and the way he treated these kids was not right. I’m hoping they’ll make new episodes of quiet on the set. If you watch this documentary traumatize and get shocked about the truth about Dan Schneider known as the creator.
Im really glad that quiet on set had a documentary to talk about it happy that Dan Schneider got exposed 👏👏👏🙌 said that they should have done it a long time ago
Aaliyah. An honest one that exposes her "parents" as the "fame pimps" that they were/are. She ended up in R. Kelly's clutches because of them, and was manipulated into *illegally* marrying this creep when she was only 15. 😢 #RIPBabyGirl
Quiet on the set was very revealing and hard to watch but at the same time a few of their allegations seemed a bit forced so it lost credibility in the end which is a huge disservice to the victims. It was trying so hard to be a hammer that it saw everything as nails. They should have shortened it and focused it more
Demi is clean now and yes its hard with addiction and sadly people don't understand mental health struggles are real every single day we struggle with a lot .
The term "underage women" doesn't make sense, but I think the only reason why they said it, was that since they were interviewing adult women throughout the docuseries, it would be even weirder to refer to them as underage girls.
I haven’t watched “Quiet on Set”. But I remember how for years and even into adulthood, because most of the Nick kids were “well adjusted” it seemed as though they didn’t encounter the same issues that Disney kids did. I as a CSA survivor never assumed that to be true. It’s sickening not only the complicity of the parents and the adults around but how much of our entertainment as youths came at the expense of abused children. I know we laugh about adult actors playing teens but I will take that 10/10 over the exploitation of children.
I've never seen this Paris Hilton documentary, but I read her latest book and it showed me that she is not that dumb blonde that people see on TV and that she really has been through some horrible stuff
I only watched Demi Lovato’s Simply Complicated and Dancing With The Devil. It wasn’t easy watching them but such an eye opener, completely understanding and so much more appreciation towards Demi. I’ll be looking forward to watching the documentaries plus Demi Lovato’s new movie, Child Star.
@@COMPFUNK2 For me, it was less judging Demi for slipping, but rather actively lying for so many years. She only came clear when she overdosed, but built her brand on a lie. THAT'S what the problem is

The other sad thong eith chris farley he looked up to his dad and he drank as well he was told if he stopped that chris might follow his lead and get clean his dad wouldnt do it why did chris' problem have to affect how his dad lived and then look what happened

There is no such thing as an underage woman. That's a child. Ever seen the term 'underage man'? No. You never will.
Now that is the best comment ever!!! So true and Thank you.
Thank you! I was just coming to say the same thing.
Though, with how exponentially growing the number of predators/groomers are being revealed to be women. that may change.

Regarding Surviving R Kelly-there is no such thing as “underaged women.” They were girls.
Exactly.
Precisely! that! They were just children 😢
I had never heard that phrase before 2024, and now am hearing it too often!
This is Paris was a great watch. Always felt like there had to be more behind that dumb blonde persona. It was refreshing to hear her speak in her real voice and to tell her story without hiding behind that public character.
It was interesting to see Paris show a different sides, she was very brave to expose the abuse she experienced.
I felt the same. Felt there was always something more to her than the “dumb blonde”. Always have liked her, more when she has truly become herself

"Quiet on Set" was fascinating, but a tough watch, I hope that the former teen actors are healing from their trauma.

Drake Bell's dad did everything possible to protect his child.
I feel like that must be devastating for him. : (
Poor guy..
And the fact his mom was so clueless and let it happen... I don't think I'd be able to forgive at all

Quiet on Set, The Boy Band Con, Milli Vanilli, I Am Heath Ledger and Amy.
