While Quiet On The Set was eye opening and heartbreaking, I did find it a little misleading in Bell's case. He was violently assaulted, and he deserves justice for that, but they kind of swept his assaults towards a minor under the rug. Quiet on the set was intense. I’ve watched it a few times and from what I’ve understand these actors that worked on nickelodeon shows were having a rough life and they didn’t have a childhood at the way. A child would have them. It just breaks my heart to see how they were mistreated by Dan Schneider, who created shows that I grew up watching and I still watch them from time to time and Jennette McCurdy calls him the creator in her book which I understand why she said means stuff about him and I I agree with her on that because he was a creep and the way he treated these kids was not right. I’m hoping they’ll make new episodes of quiet on the set. If you watch this documentary traumatize and get shocked about the truth about Dan Schneider known as the creator.

I haven’t watched “Quiet on Set”. But I remember how for years and even into adulthood, because most of the Nick kids were “well adjusted” it seemed as though they didn’t encounter the same issues that Disney kids did. I as a CSA survivor never assumed that to be true.
It’s sickening not only the complicity of the parents and the adults around but how much of our entertainment as youths came at the expense of abused children.
I know we laugh about adult actors playing teens but I will take that 10/10 over the exploitation of children.
