That‘s actually difficult. I think that Law would be particularly unaffected until he became friends with Rosinante. After that, it‘s a gamble.
Koala in childhood also has a good chance to be unaffected by negative hollows.
Not only that, but the negative hollows would make him *Smile*

Kikoku could just be cursed to never kill. If the creator was a passifist in life, but was forced to make it, it could be cursed to never draw blood regardless of its sharpness.
He never uses it as a proper sword, because he can’t.

I like the idea of Law unsheathing Kikoku and it begins wailing/screaming in his mind. He waits a bit maybe it ends maybe it doesn't, either way, he just says "Oh that's cute". Then if he can, just unload all his internal screaming to Kikoku and have it go "Oh dam, you win". That my new head canon.

It would be cool if we learned how bad Kikoku's curse is for Law by having Zoro pick it up during some battle, and having it almost killing him but in a completely different way from Enma or any of his other swords.

It could also be a curse where the blade detests drawing blood, and actively avoids harming people. That would cause early deaths for most swordsmen, but Law's use of the Op-Op would allow him to effectively ignore the curse completely.
The fact that law doesn't kill needlessly is what makes me think he's a perfect fit for Kikoku-Demon Tears/Wailing Wisps/Ghotstly Howls. It feels like a Muramasa blade, my guess is he wont kill those who he feels dont deserve to die because the swords bloodlust is filled with a path of blood from the innocent.

Your curse concept could also relate to why Law constantly had Kikoku carried by Bepo. The idea would be that Law, being the one who used the sword, is the only one who can hear the screams and cries. On the other hand, Bepo or anyone else who has not killed with the sword will not hear the cries.

The ghosts in Laws sword give him much needed company. He was living alone for much of his life and also stayed without his crew in Punk hazard.

I personally think that Kikoku not being a Meito Sword could reference the fact that most tools that a doctor may use during operation (scalpels for example) are disposable and not of the highest quality (because in most situations it's better to have a single-use, sterile blade that's in some sealed container and only taken out for the operation than to keep contaminated blades around and risk someone misplacing them, or not sterilising them back properly). Law probably had some other swords before Kikoku, since he really just seems to use it to represent a scalpel in his Room and he could probably do it with just some flat piece of rebar.
Ive always imagined in order ot increase a sword rank to saijo, you have to beat someone who already has a saijo. So basically you take the rank of the defeated sword and there can only be 12 saijo in any time
What if someone manages to break a saijo o wazomono sword would there only be 11?

Zoros curse is 100% the joke about his lack of direction. He was not shown to get lost until he had kitetsu. He even was able to pursue Django in Syrup village’s woods without getting lost.

im pretty sure a legend has it that when a muramasa blade was placed into a river or stream with a masamune blade and leaves began to cross their path the muramasa would naturally cut the leaves in half, while the masamune had the leaves flow around it, proving that muramasa made more bloodthirsty swords but thats just one interpretation.

Brook Died before Kaido was a big pirate, brook says in his time Gol Do Roger was a rookie, and it is said that even when Roger was famous and taking on the Rocks' Pirates, Kaido was still a cabin boy, meaning he was still young and did not have a crew of his own, we do not even know if Queen was born in Brooks age, also, Queen uses diseases, not poison.

The sword doesn't store the souls of those it kills as with DC Comics Katana's Soultaker. Instead, it brings forth the ghosts of your past, and for Law, even if they are trying to torment him, it feels comforting to hear the voices of his family and Corazón

The fact that a weapon’s curse can affect your mind is also mentioned in the anime Asterisk War. A character there has weapons which show the wielder her potential death in her dreams. It has been a while since I‘ve watched it, but I‘m pretty sure that it was the student council president and the weapons in question are daggers.

Since Kikoku is a cursed sword it must have seen some pretty tragic things happen in its past. Which makes it a perfect fit for someone with a backstory as tragic as Law.

So Tekking. If you are looking for a What If scenario, what about how the series would have changed if Bonney hadn't stopped Zoro from cutting down the Celestial Dragon before Luffy punched him? It sounds like there isn't much there that would change, except Zoro was going to cut him in half. Leaving him dead like a dog in the street. If the Marine's sent an Admiral after the Strawhats for punching a CD, what would they have sent after someone killing them in the street casually? Buster Call maybe to ensure this news doesn't get out? Mayde try to fake the cause of death? Could the Strawhats or Supernovas have gotten away at all?
I always thought that the curse on Law's sword is that it can't cut. That's why it didn't have a grade because of its curse and no one can raise it up to be a graded sword. But with Law's devil fruit power it doesn't really matter if it could cut or not.
