The Beach Boy's music has been part of my life since my beginning, and it was heart braking when Dennis died, and even more so with Carl. But I have to say, I have so much respect and admiration for Brian. Not just his talent, but his strength and endurance with all the challenges that came with the man we know as, Brian Wilson. Wow, and well done Brian. Thank you for all the years of fun, sun, and beautiful music.
I like this version more than the original. It feels like years after writing this song, he has experience more about life and the world, and the meaning of the song now truly exposes 100%. What a beautiful song. Brian sang with passion and conviction. When the choir came out they elevated the song.
